How to add security to a composite ?

Hello,
I need to add some level of security to my composite. I mean the policy and also is there any way to set the username and the password for that policy. SO any composite invoking this secured service add the policy on their side and also add the oracle.webservices.auth.username and oracle.webservices.auth.password properties and provide the values in order to invoke the secured webservice. Basically, i want to keep basic http username authentication for my composite ?
Can anybody help me on this ? May be an example of how to achieve this would be helpful...

How to add security credentials to SOAP header for EBS Web Service call..

I am trying to invoke a webservice that I successfully exposed as a WSDL Web Service using EBS Integrated SOA Gateway. I am using OBIEE 11g Action Framework which uses WebLogic.
Here are the steps I completed:
- I exposed a WSDL web service in EBS R12 via Integrated SOA Gateway
- I granted the access to this service in EBS R12 to user SYSADMIN
- I used OBIEE 11g to make a Action to call the Web service (using Action Framework) by searching for the WSDL
- When I try to execute the action: I get the error:
Action could not be invoked.
ServiceExecutionFailure :
Error invoking web service HR_PHONE_API_Service at endpoint http://ip-10-87-33-3.ec2.internal:8000/webservices/SOAProvider/plsql/hr_phone_api/ Missing <wsse:Security> in SOAP Header
PROBLEM: I am unsure how to add the credentials for SYSADMIN user and password to add the SOAP username/pwd to the outgoing call. Anyone on this forum know how to set up the SOAP to call with the correct credentials? I have been looking at the documentation but it is not clearly explained.

We are facing the same problem. Every parameter that requries "cmd" does not work. I guess we don´t use this paramter the right way.

You should set up the Extreme as your main router and eventually the Express to stream music or to extend the wireless.
After the Extreme is set up and running, just set the Express e.g. to "Join a wireless network".
Alternatively reset the Express to factory default (see manual) and configure it from the scratch to your needs.

Hi,
not all key figure types are supported in BPS.
1. All key figure types must have aggregation SUM, SUM.
2. Supported key figure types:
- amout
- quantity
- number (integer, float, dec)
- time, only type DEC
- datum, only type DEC
All other key figures are filtered out and are not available in BPS.

If you use Macromedia Dreamweaver MX or Macromedia HomeSite+ to
develop your applications, you can access a remote ColdFusion MX 7
server using HTTP. However, you must configure Remote Development
Services (RDS) in your integrated development environment (IDE),
and RDS must be enabled in ColdFusion MX 7. Using RDS, IDE users
can securely access remote files and data sources, build SQL
queries from these data sources, and debug CFML code.
Note: The ColdFusion Report Builder uses RDS for the Query
Builder and for charting support.
However, for security reasons, Macromedia recommends that you
disable RDS on a production server. To disable it, you must disable
the RDSServlet mapping.
You actually configure your data sources through the
ColdFusion Administrator (and I guess through Dreamweaver too,
although I have never used it myself), but RDS lets you work with
them. Bottom line, if you allow your developer access to ColdFusion
via RDS, then they will have all of the privileges that are allowed
to the data source for the account that is configured in the
ColdFusion administrator for that database.

How to add security to App built using InDesign?

We are using DPS (Single Edition) to build an App that will contain some sensitive information, and we will need to protect this somehow by restricting this content so that only current employees may use it - meaning it should be inaccessible to people outside the company, as well as to former employees who have since left.
What is the best way to restrict access? Adding password protection seems like the most obvious answer, but is this doable within InDesign? Alternatively, is there another solution, and should it be done within InDesign, or by limiting access somehow with DPS?

Ah ha! thanks, but got all the way to the bottom of the blog, quite excited by the info; only to find I need an enterprise adobe account. Why Why Why, as per the other comments, there is a huge demand for clients that only need limited distribution ie hundreds, not ten's of thousands as per large publications.
Enterprise Dev account for Apple is cheap, DPS enterprise is well, a lot of money.
There is an opporunity here for Adobe, The Pro-License needs to evolve for non magazine customers, I create Apps for a very large Automotive company, they love my low cost "brochure Apps" they would love to do more but to distribute to retailers, so we are only talking many hundreds. This number seems to be very common - Hundreds.
DPS Enterprise is geared up and costed up at major magazine publishers, correct?
I dont need all the publishers subscription stuff, and web folio's and limited articles etc etc.
But Enterprise limited distribution, and analytics, and yes, even Gold support, is what I would pay for.
As mentioned on other threads, my clients and myself have decided that we will just make do with SE Apps, so wave good bye to the Pro Licence.
I doubt I'm alone here, no infact, I know I'm not alone, just hope there will be enough of us to make financially work for Adobe.
Just a thought, maybe hopefully, you guys are ahead of me here, and working on something :-))

How to create a site and add security groups through code: scripts, csom, ... ?

Hi,
I'm new to CSOM and are looking for a way to create sites in SharePoint Office365 and especially add user to it with a specific role eg. 'visitor' or 'owner'.
I use this code to add sites from a csv file, so far so good.
But now I want to add security groups based on the csv file and assign a role. The security groups allready exists.
and also how to add a user with a 'owner' role for some sites.
That would make my life easier :-)

The command above about creating a group only works for the root site of the site collection, because the scope of the user group is site collection level, these groups
can be used in all the sites in this site collection.
With the existing groups in the root site, we can add users into them and grant specific permissions of a specific sub site to these groups.

How to add "Team leader" field in standard BPC security report

BPC Expert,
We are using BPC MS 5.0 version.
There is a checkbox in the security setup to make someone a "Team Leader" when you add him/her to a team and this checkbox determines who can post data and who cannot. When we run the user report we see which team the user is in but we do not have visibility to whether or not they are a "Team Leader" which is what business owner needs to see to approve user access.
I figured out "dbo.userteamassign" is the table which hold team leader value. Can anyone please tell me all the steps of adding team leader field in the standard BPC 5.0 security report.

Thanks for the response. I know associated steps to declare business user as a team leader but my original question is "how to add a column in standard BPC security report that says who is team leader or who is not".
Do you know the Dtx package that is responsible to supply the data to Standard BPC security report? We can enhance standard data package to pull/display extra "Team leader" column in standard security report.

Are you trying to add more users or groups through Group Policy Management Security Filtering tab?
Try right clicking on the policy and then edit
Then in Editor Right click on the name of the policy and Properties
Security tab and add user or group from this tab. Just make sure if you are adding user or groups "Select this object type" has
the correct option also "From this Location" is set to your entire directory not the local server.
Update us with the above.

I changed the port for my gmail account which I read in Thunderbird in error and now get the popup Add Security Exception which states "You are about to override how Thunderbird identifies this site. I don't want to override this! just get rid of popup.

I've done the same thing, and can't pick up my email in Thunderbird without addressing the pop-up. How do I re-do everything and get Gmail into Thunderbird correctly? Thanks!
