How to allocate a text value to a null field in a cross tab

Hi there,
I'm using Crystal 2008 and have created a report that retrieves support tickets assigned by team within a specific date field. I've added a cross tab that is retrieving the data correctly. However, if the team field is blank, the cross tab comes up with a blank field - something similar to :
Team name # Tickets Assigned
Team 1 -
> 10
Team 2 -
> 20
> 15
Team 3 -
> 12
Team 4 -
> 18
I would like to be able to have it returned <Unassigned> instead of just white space. Any suggestions on where to begin? I am a beginner at this and would appreciate any help at all.

instead of using just the value create a formula that will deal with nulls.
something along the lines of:
if isnull()
then "<Unassigned>"
else ()

Thanks for direction. Let me give more context on this as I'm interested to get more details..One of the issue was to read cross entity field values on UI based on user action and set other entity field behaviour...It is similar to what is being posted here.
For ex: Reading MTART from Basic Data UIBB in MM MDG UI and set the field properties in some other custom entities say ZZETEST. This cannot be done using UI BADI as it only supports single entity at a time and not cross entity. So alternatively we found a solution where we can enhance existing PLMB feederclass cl_mdg_bs_mat_feeder_form by reading the model and the entity as needed as it it proved that it supports cross entity UI field behaviours and so business requirements.
This is a workaround for now.
So the question is How do we achive it using governance API for cross entity field behiaviours.?or what is the right way doing this.
Can we do that using governance API and its' methods?
In the Governance API doc you provided below has referring to below external model as part of gevernance API.
The active or inactive data (before or during the derivation or the check) can be read
with the external data model interface IF_USMD_MODEL_EXT with the method READ_CHAR_VALUE and
the corresponding READ_MODE parameter. To avoid unnecessary flushes (derivations), the NO_FLUSH
parameter should b

How do I pass a value between two selectOneChoice fields

I have two selectOneChoice (LOV fields) on the same JSF page (trinidad form). How do I pass the value from the first field to the second one?
AutoSubmit=true;PartialTriggers doesn't work.
I used SetActionListener to copy the value from the first LOV to a pageflow variable ( #{pageFlowScope.x} ) but that didn't work either. I wasn't sure how to reference it in the second LOV ...

How to refernce the field in the cross-tab report

Hello,
I'm trying to refer to the field in the cross-tab report using GridRowColumnValue function.
The field name in formulas is DevelopmentTracking_SELECT.Completed, so I'm trying to refer like this:
GridRowColumnValue("DevelopmentTracking_SELECT.Completed")
I'm getting:
"This is not the name of a grid group for the field being formatted."
I've tried different way - gave the name of the field, for instance, or used the name form the Cross-tab expert - Max of DevelopmentTracking_SELECT.Completed, or simply use "Completed" - nothing worked.
I see the possible cause for it. DevelopmentTracking_SELECT.Completed is not a row or column name, in the Cross-tab expert this is a Summarized field. How to reference the field like this correctly?

Oh I thought it is
ROW: Product Name
COLUMN: Anticipated Date, Completed
SUMMARIZED FIELDS: Product Stage
Anyhow try to move the Completed field above the Anticipated Date in SUMMARIZED FIELDS by clicking up arrow.
Now right click on the field Completed go to format field-->write the suppress condition like this

Now right click on the Anticipated Date field and go to font and write the condition for color like this
WhilePrintingRecords;

How to get selected text values in a textarea by mouse click?

Hi Everyone,
What I am trying to do is to click on some texts in a textarea, then get the selected text value.
If you guys have used an accounting software called Simply Accounting, you might understand better.
I list all my customer names in a textarea. What I want is, when I click on one customer, another GUI pops up with this customer's information. My problem is that I don't know how to get the selected text value from a textarea.
Could anyone give a hand here? Thank you in advance.

MT940 - How to change the text value in AC doc created through EBS

I would like to know how can we manipulate the payee details sent by the Bank so that unncessary things are removed from the text of the accounting document created through EBS posting (FF_5)
My bank statement has the below lines

After running the program the I see the below values
FEBRE-VWEZW : 999/00BGCMDIR 5735826JAN165635826
FEBEP-CHECT : NONREF
BSEG-SGTXT : NONREF 999/00BGCMDIR 5735826JAN185635826
I think, text value in the ac document is the concatenation of FEBEP-CHECT & FEBRE-VWEZW.
However I dont want FEBEP-CHECT & few initial chacters of FEBRE-VWEZW in my accounting document text. I would like the text to be MDIR 5735826JAN185635826
Can anyone please suggest how this can be achieved?

One of the solutions is (taken from another source):
As of Release 4.70, there is a Business Add-In (BADI) with the definition name FEB_BADI that is called immediately before the standard posting in program RFEBBU00. In this case, you can change the procedure of the standard posting or make additional account assignments by changing the tables that are to be transferred to the posting interface (FTPOST, FTCLEAR). To do this, go to the SAP menu and follow the path Tools->ABAP-Workbench->Business Add-ins, create an enhancement that you assign to the FEB_BADI BAdI and then implement the CHANGE_POSTING_DATA method.
When you activate the BAdI, you receive a message, telling you that the active implementation of this BAdI already exists. If you do not use the public sector industry solution, you can deactivate the active BAdI of the IBS_PS area and activate your own implementation.

How to dispay the text values of the info objects in my transformations

Can any one say how to do a lookup for a text table. For example for a particular customer number i need to get the customer name from the text table.In the same way i need to display the text values of the info objects in my transformations. It would be great if any one could send me the code.

How to persist TextInput text values?

Can anyone provide a brief explanation of how to persist text
values?
Description:
Stuff written into a TextInput field does not persist when
moving
to another frame, and back again.
Example:
Frame 1: Put a TextInput component on the stage.
Frame 1: Put a "forward" button on the stage.
Frame 9: Put a "back" button on the stage.
Frame 1 actionScript:
this.btnForward.onRelease = function() {
gotoAndStop(9);
Frame 9 actionScript:
this.btnBack.onRelease = function() {
gotoAndStop(1);
Play it.
Write something in the TextInput.
Click the forward button. (this takes it to Frame 9)
Click the back button. (this takes it back to Frame 1)
>> The TextInput field is blank.

Here's an example, using the provided data:
I've set the alignment on Main to Automatic (except for row 1) to distinguish between numeric and quasi numeric values (aligned right) and text (aligned left). This is a visual aid to developing the table, and would likely be changed for appearance in the end version.
Columns E, F and G of Main are index columns listing the RANK of numeric/date and time values in columns A, B and C respectively. Text values cause RANK to throw an error, which is caught by IFERROR, which returns a value of 999, chosen to be well above any of the RANK values returned. A small amount ( ROW()/100000 ) is added to each result to prevent duplicate results is cases like column D, where duplicate times appear.
Formula: Main::E2: =IFERROR(RANK(B2,B,1),999)+ROW()/100000
Fill down the column, and right to column G.
These columns may be hidden.
The three daily columns use a single formula each, revised to match the index columns from which they determine the row containing each piece of data to be copied, and to match the columns from which they retrieve that data. The formulas from row 2 of these tables are listed here in the order (left to right) that they are used in the second row of tables above. Parts that are edited from one formula to another are shown in bold.

It's in SAP Business One 2007, in User-Defined-Fields, under User Tables, Iam trying to add a field to a Table I created in the User-Defined-Tables-Setup menu.
I click Add then type the field name, description and then I select the Type, which is DateTime, then the SelectDefault Value For Field get's grayed out.

How to change the text of a user defined field in dynamic selections?

Logical Database PSJ is used by t code CJI3 - we added a couple of user fields into the dynamic selections of CJI3.
Now - how to change the text of this user filed (USR01 of structure PRSP_R in logical database PSJ)?
Found an OSS note - 86980 - that tells that this is not possible.
But when we read the documentation on the user field (CJI3 - dynamic selections - double click on user field - F1), it shows the following text:
User-defined field in which you can enter general information with a length of up to 20 characters.
Dependencies
The names (key words) for user-defined fields depend on the field key.
Now the question is where to change the field key..

Jsp has hidden field. The value of the hidden field is set.

call this inside an update trigger, you could put in an
exception to return USER if there is an error, this would then
work for users connected directly and users using Portal.

How to pass selection screen value to LDB dynamic field.

In my program, I am using standard LDB(PSJ) for getting data. And there is a requirement that I have to display some dynamic fields on my selection screen like plant , person responsible ( which are mandatory also ) etc. and inside the program I have to fill those dynamic fields for which the user has entered the value in selection screen.
Could you please tell me how to pass some of selection screen values to ldb dynamic fields before GET statement.
