How to allow login using email address (ALIAS)  to Abap system

Hi,
we are developing some Abap Webdympro to logon to an Abap system, release Netweaver 731, in order to allow our end user to logon via Internet browser to this system.
So our Abap system is acting like a Portal system, but it's not a J2EE system, it's just a Netweaver Abap system with the following components installed:
SAP_BASIS
SAP_ABA
PI_BASIS
ST-PI
IW_BEP
SAP_BW
UI2_700
UI2_701
UI2_702
UI2_731
UI2_FND
UI2_SRVC
UI5_731
UISAPUI5
UI_INFRA
No SSO is configured on the ABAP system, and no connection to the LDAP directory is in place , and it is neither  foresee.
In this moment we are able to login with the user-id of the user we created into the SU01, butt we would like to allow the access using the ALIAS of the users too.
The ALIAS of these users is like '[email protected]'.
We did some test but trying to logon we recive always the message:
"500 SAP Internal Server Error
ERROR: System logon form fields have invalid values (termination: ERROR_MESSAGE_STATE)"
On the network I'm able to find only post related to this issue using a J2EE portal, but nothing using an ABAP system as Portal.
Any idea ?
Regards

Hello Arul,
welcome to the SDN CRM Development forum.
1. I think you should clear the data with duplicate E-Mail adresses in the external tool.
2. Unsubscription could be done by a Marketing Attribute which could be set by using a Target Group which is created by Campaign Automation. Have a look at this Toppic. There is also a Best Practice avaliable at http://help.sap.com/bp_crmv340/CRM_DE/index.htm.
3. Also HTML or Simple text can be mained in a Marketing Attribute. You have to use different Mail Forms to which are sent to different Target groups.

  • How to remove previously used email addresses from iphone?

After having his email account hacked, a friend gave me his new email address.
I have updated his contact information, BUT
everytime I write an email, or a text or a message, the old email address keeps coming up
as the first choice of my iPhone and iPad.
How do I remove the previous email address from my iPhone or iPad?
    Regards

The ONLY way, currently, to remove this data from an iOS device is to restore the device as "new" in iTunes, NOT from backup. This will, of course, erase all data on the device, including this contact data. You either do that, or you live with it.

  • Never-used email address getting spammed.

When I signed up for BT Broadband they made me choose an email address [email protected]. I have never used it to send an email, not even to BT.
Within days of getting connected I began to receive spam emails on the new email address from a company called dabs.com. I worked out that they are the contractor BT uses to supply modems to customers. All dabs.com needed was my street address to post me the modem but BT told them my email address as well and they decided to abuse it. After I complained, BT said they would arrange for the emails to stop within 28 days but they've missed that deadline.
Now I am receiving spam advertising male libido boosting tablets.
How can my never-used email address have leaked? Can I blame dabs.com for selling it on to a spammer? Can spammers get them in other ways?

    Hi.
dabs.com is not only a modem company, they sell all sorts of tech stuff. They used to be a separate company, but BT bought them a few years ago.
Spammers get their email address in a vast number of ways. Even if you've chosen a new address, this address could still actually be on a spam list.
For example spammers can assume if [email protected] exists, then so does [email protected] and [email protected] etc. They can also use dictionary methods, make all sorts of assumptions based on other user names (e.g. with or without a "period" and add/remove it). Also the email address can also have been used before, either as a primary or sub account - this means that the email address is already known and on spam lists.
Similarly [email protected], [email protected] etc, as well as slightly mispelt ones [email protected] ....
If the email address was dormant until you "picked it", then any bounces returned as email address not existing will never end up at the sending spammer, as the email addresses they use as the "From" address are never theirs and are either spoofed as someone elses (and they get the non delivery reports) or just random addresses.
There are other methods e.g. virus/trojan infected computers relaying email addresses to spammers without the user even knowing, and this virus infected computer could be a contact who has your email address, and not necessarily your computer infected.

  • Using email address as login identifier (UPN)

We have a CRM 2011 that we need to expose to a set of external users.
We want to be able to add the new external users in the CRM as say [email protected], and then have them authenticate using their email address when they login
The plan is to use an external/3rd party  identity service that provides a bunch of wokflows for password changing and other support functions.
We will be using ADFS 2.1 between our ADFS server and the 3rd party identity service ADFS.
We will have some internal users using the CRM and this set of external users.
We would like the external users to be able to use their email address to login. Their email addresses will all be from one domain (xyz.com) but that domain will  be different to the 3rd party identity provider.
Now providing we have trusts  set up correctly between our ADFS server and the 3rd party ADFS server, is this possible with some claim mapping by the 3rd party identity provider?
Given the 3rd party ADFS server will receive an email address of [email protected] can they then map that to a valid user on their domain?

  • I created an Apple ID for iTunes using a work email address and left that company before I had an opportunity to change the email and password for that account.  How do I change the email address to a new one that I can access?

I created an Apple ID for iTunes using a work email address and left that company before I had an opportunity to change the email and password for that same account.  Now I can't seem to login to that account and I can't choose the option for forgot password because it will send email to the old workplace.  How do I change the email address to a new one that I can access?

If you remeber the password to that Apple ID then follow these steps
1 - Make sure you have an email address that is NOT an Apple ID
    2 - Go to AppleID.Apple.com
3 - Where it reads Manage Apple ID - Sign in
Once you are signed in want to make sure the email address you are wanting to use is NOT set up as a "Recovery/Rescue" email for this account.
[To check this - Main page where you see Primary ID - below do you see the email address you want to use listed towards the bottom? Yes - Delete / No - Good ./. If made any adjustments "Save" Next on the left select "Password & Security" - Answer your security questions you set up "if you have any" then scroll towards the bottom and check to see if you see the email address you want to use. Yes - Delete / No - Good] <-> Also you can change your password on this page as well. Any adjustments made "Save"
Once this is done go back to the main page where you should read "Primary ID" and change the email address that is showing to the new email address youo want. "Save" Done
I learned this not to long ago and worked for me. Hope this helps you!

  • I have an "old" Apple ID set up 13 years ago.  Apple has now gone to using email address as the apple ID.  I have apps to update and they ask for old ID.  it does not exist.  How can I get the ID on the app changed to the new apple ID

I set up an apple id many years ago when itunes was established.  Within the past year or so, Apple has changed to using email address as user id.  My problem is that I have many applications that I can not update due to the fact that it is asking for the password of the old ID.  It does not exist anymore.  Any ideas on how to get the new apple id associated with the application without deleting the application.  Several of these apps I purchased.

    You can not merge accounts.
Apps are tied to the Apple ID used to download them, you can not transfer them.

  • In a Smart Group in AddressBook 6.1, how do I designate which email addresses I want to use?

In a Smart Group in AddressBook 6.1, how do I designate which email address I want to use for contacts who have more than one address when I'm mailing to the whole group? The "Edit Distribution List" is grayed out.

Thanks, Barney, but that's not really my question. The "Edit Distribution List" is in the Edit menu on my version, too, but I can't use it to edit the email addresses of contacts who are in Smart Groups. In the version of AddressBook I was using before I bought a new MacBook Pro and upgraded to Mac OSX Lion, I could use the "Edit Distribution List" to pick which email address I wanted to use for contacts in Smart Groups with more than one address. Apparently that isn't an option in Lion. The Help menus for AddressBook 6.1 even say that "Edit Distribution Lists" doesn't work for Smart Groups.
Okay. I get that. But some of my contacts have more than one email address, so how do I choose which email address I want Mail to use for these contacts when I send an email to a Smart Group they're in?

There is no solution here and you should already have known this as you replied to a thread all about this a few up from your own post and this stated the postition quite clearly and the question was answered.
Why do you ask the same question again?  The first answer is not going to change just because you don't like it!!

Tap AppleID, sign out then sign back in.
The Apple ID is right everywhere else. I've synced the phone. I've reset it in Settings on the phone. I've changed it at Apple.

  • TS3988 how do you change the email address associated to my account

how do you change the email address associated to my account

Your description doesn't make it entirely clear what you are trying to do. Your Apple ID - which you use to log in to iCloud - is a non-Apple email address and you can change this. You may also have a 'rescue' address (advisable) which is a non-Apple email address and you can change that. The @icloud.com address you set up when you opened the iCloud account can not be changed, but has nothing directly to do with Hotmail (other than that being the login).
What you can do is add up to three 'email aliases' - these are additional addresses (not accounts) which deliver into the same inbox as the main account. (In fact it's a good idea to give out alias addresses, rather than the main address, because if they attract spam you can easily change them.) (New aliases can only be @icloud.com ones; @me.com addresses cannot now be created.)
You should be aware before you start that once you've created an alias you cannot turn that address into a full iCloud account, move it to another account, or reactivate it if you delete it.

  • How can I remove an email address from one apple account and associate it with another?

I created an appleID account to use with the mac AppStore without realising i previously had an appleID account from my first iPod touch.
Now with OSX 10.8 I want to use the email address from the old account with the new account for Messages.app without having to manage 2 logins.
I've followed the steps found on the support page http://support.apple.com/kb/HE68 under the section "How to add an additional email address that is already associated with another Apple ID" but each time I attempt to add the removed email address from the new account to the old account the input box shows the error: Email address is already verified for another Apple ID.

How can I change my email address?

You can't change an iCloud email address without setting up a new iCloud account.  You can, however, set up an alias email address with a new name and use that instead and email sent to the alias address will appear in the same inbox as the account you are using now.  This explains how to add an alias: http://support.apple.com/kb/PH2622.

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
I'm afraid you can't change it. You could create an alias and use that or just start a new account.
