How to apply saturation filter between keyframes only?

Hi,
I have a bunch of old home videos that look bleached, I mean flat colours. It's the camera that causes this (it's a cheap camera). So I found a filter in Premiere that I can use to adjust saturation:
* Fast Color Corrector
Now I can only apply this filter to the entire clip. However, some parts of the clip need different settings than others, so I tried to use key frames but that's not going to fly with this filter. It makes sense because it's called "Fast Color Corrector". However, I haven't found a filter that allows me to adjust saturation for individual parts of the clip between key frames.
Where should I look?

If the other two suggestions do not help you, rather than apply between Keyframes, you can also cut the Clip (Razor Tool) and apply where needed. If you need the "ramping" effect of the Fast Color Corrector, then just add a Cross-Dissolve. This works for other non-Keyframable Effects in many cases.

[Edit] You might want to Alt-click the Video to unlink it from your Audio, when using the Razor Tool. No sense in cutting your Audio too - in a very few instances, this can cause little "pops" in the Audio.

Hi LYnn,
I am sorry for my late reply. My stage is driven by a voice coil actuator (VCA). The VCA as a resolution of 1 um and range of 6 mm. The NF of the stage does shift when the load is changing. Do you have any advice for controlling such kind of stage?
BTW, as far as I see, the control frequency is determined in the DAQ Assistant settings and its value is equal to "Sampling rate"/"Samples to read", am I right?

OBIEE -- How to create a filter between current_date and 31 days pass

I was trying to put a filter on the date column and filter between timestampadd(sql_tsi_day,-31,current_date) and current_date
I was successfully able to define both field on sql expression of the filter and I selected "is between"
when I put this date column with measures and other columns then run report, I get a different error:

I believe it must be something with the essbase that is not serving OBIEE well. Because I tried the same filter on a different environment not having essbase, it return me the right results..

How to apply a Filter on JSONModel for a Table data

I have a table and search text box. Now when users types in something I want to filter the Table Data which is JSONModel.
There are several columns in the JSONModel and the search string should check against each column.
If columns are Date then ignore if they are numeric convert to String and check against value.
How can I achieve this?

Thanks for your reply it solves half of my problem.
Now if I want to have a OR condition for Filters applied on lastName and firstName column i.e. the search string should either exist in lastName or firstName return me all rows which satisfies the search string filter then how do I do it?
I tried the following by adding one more filter but I guess it creates AND condition between these filters
oTable.getBinding("rows").filter([new sap.ui.model.Filter("lastName", "StartsWith", sValue),
new sap.ui.model.Filter("firstName",StartsWith",sValue)]);
I also observed that in the current code the filter is applied on lastName column but when you search the next column shows filter icon is this a bug?

i have one requirement.
i am giving the example below.my 2 columns data like below

G 7
H 8
i want to give Column1 as a dashboard prompt and users will enter A,B,...(what are all in the column1).
what i want is, in the dashboard prompt i want less that value passes in the dashboard prompt.
Ex: if i enter the D in the dashboard prompt, i want to display less that corresponding value to the D in the column 2.
in this case it should return, A,B,C from column A.
PLease suggest me how can i achieve this.

Hi user,
Here is the solution.
1.Create a dashboard prompt and Put columnA and assgn it to a presentation variable say 'VAR_1'.
2.Now create one more dashboard prompt select SQL result in choice list .and enter logical sql like
SELECT columnA
FROM tab_name where
columnB < (
SELECT columnB
FROM tab_name
WHERE columnA= 'VAR_1')
3. put both in a dashboard and check whether the logic is working if you select D in first dashboard prompt and apply, you should get only A,B,C option in the second prompt.
4. Edit your main dashboard . put Dasgboard prompt1 in one section save.
5. Inside Edit dashboard only click on Dashboard Property (nest to preview button), you can see all the pages.
6. now select your page and click on 'select prompt...' (prompt symbol next to Rename) . Browse your second prompt and click ok,ok.
7. save the dashboard. Now it should work.

the first, swaps another image on mouse over..
the second, swaps another image on click..
So, i want the "swap image restore" behaviour to apply only for the first, Is there a way to do that? cuz when i try it applies to both.

I am trying to do the same thing as Magdi_alafifi - I have two swapImages on click that I want to stay and then another swapImage on mouseover with a "swap image restore" on mouse out.
Here is my code:

How do I apply a filter to an entire video clip?

I'm trying to find out how to apply a filter, e.g. Oil Painting, to an entire video clip and not just one frame.
Been trying to work with keyframes but it wont happen - all I get when applying a filter from the Filter Gallery
is a filter applied to just one frame (not even a second of the video clip i.e.).
So, the question is: is it even possible to apply a filter from the gallery to an antire video clip? If so, how?

Adjust audio levels between keyframes

Hello,
What is the shortcut to adjust audio levels between keyframes (in sequence)? I know the shortcut CTRL ] [ , but this shortcut adjust audio level for entire audio.
I also know I can drag up and down the levels between keyframes using mouse. But some months ago I saw a tip ( from Steve martin) showing
how to adjust audio levels between keyframes using a shortcut..and better,in RT. but I forgot what is the shortcut.

there is no shortcut command for this in FCP, you need to use the mouse to drag the audio level up or down
perhaps its another application your thinking of?

How do I apply a filter to a layer without having a selection affect it?

I have 3 layers. I have been working on two, and have a a selection running so I can apply filters on those two. I now want to add a 3rd layer, and both move it and apply filters to it, but I want the entire new layer affected. However, the selection I previously made affects the new layer. If I move it, the selection moves, if I apply a filter, it applies only to the selection. This is not what I want, as I want to experiment with positioning and filtering this layer behind the selections. I will have other things to do with the selections as I continue, so I don't want to deselect and lose the selection. I'm thinking this should be simple, but I cannot find the right "magic words" to find the answer. How do I get a layer to be independent of a selection on other layers? The layers are not linked. Working with CS6.

You've asked a very good question. You can save selections and reuse them over and over again in Photoshop. The way to do that is to save them with the Channel panel. Here's how to do it:
Create a selection.
Choose Window > Channels to display the Channels panel. At the bottom of the Channels panel, click the Save Selection button. A new channel will be created. This is an exact replica of the selection you made.
Now that your selection is saved and can be reactivated at anytime, you can deselect (Select > Deselect) and work on other areas of your image. Anytime you need to activate that selection, simply choose Select > Load Selection and choose the Alpha channel you saved in step 2.

How to apply Filter condition for a specific column but not to the report?

I am having a issue in applying a filter condition to one of the column.
I have a schema with one fact table and around 10 dimension tables. My requirement is to bring a count on the fact table with related to some other columns from the dimension tables.
Lets consider a scenario with tables like Sales (Fact), Region (Dimension), Year(Dimension), Sale Type (Dimension).
Now my requirement is to bring out the fields
City(Region) --City
Year -- Year
Sales Count(Sales table) ---Count of all sales from the fact table
Sales Count(Sales table) -- Count of all sales from the fact table where sales type is 'CASH'
Here my issue is how do I apply the filter condition of Sales Type='CASH' only on one of the Sales Count column which is from the fact table. I want the filter condition to be imposed only for the fourth column.
Can anyone let me know how to achieve this?

This is quite simpe. Edit the column formula for the 4th column and put something like this. I am doing this from memory so the syntax might need checking:
Case When "Dimension Table"."Sales Type"='CASH' Then "Fact Table"."Measure" Else Null End
You could also consider making this a permanent addition to your RPD if this measure will be used again and again. You would add a new logical column and use the expression builder to arrive at the same result.

How To Apply Filter on LTS? OBIEE 11g

on the LTS of some logical tables in BMM layer. This column is currently present only in physical layer and not in the BMM layer.
Can you tell me exactly where and how this can be done?
Do I need to extend this column to BMM layer?

Click on LTS of that table in BMM - Go to Content Tab - WHERE CLAUSE - apply you condition.
No need to extend it to BMM.

This indicates that you only have handles available on one side of the edit point. If the transition ends on the edit, that means that the next shop begins on the first frame of the media file and there is no room for it to extend and create the necessary overlap.

No you do not need separate Apple ID's in order to use 3 devices with one Apple ID. I use 4 devices to Message and FaceTime and all use the same Apple ID. You do need to add additional email addresses for the other devices.

You don't. Rules are applied only to new incoming messages, or manually to the selected messages. They cannot be used to delete messages after an amount of time. You could create an AppleScript or Automator action that would do that and then use a recurring event in iCal to run that script.
