Instead of nested query go for two separate queries. I see you are querying on the same table...so better go by this approach
select field1 field2 POSITION_POSTDT
into table w_feeds
from ZTable
where field2 in r_feedf1.
Remove the where condition on POSITION_POSTDT
Sort the table w_feeds by POSITION_POSTDT Descending; So you will get data pertaining to Max Position_Postdt.
Finally delete the other entries which are not Max.
This will enhance the performance over the nested query.

TS1574 I have no sound on my iMac.    When I select the upper key on the keyboard or select 'output devices' in the System Preferences file, it says "no output devices found".     Any ideas as to I can turn on the sound?

Thank you for your responses.    I found the 'sound' icon in the menu bar and found it was turned down low.   I adjusted the sound there and this worked; however, I'm not sure why this didn't show in my System Preferences or why I couldn't adjust the sound from the keyboard.    Those function keys basically became un-usable for me.   Thank you again!

How to set the default DVD Burner (output device) in DVDSP 4.2.2

For the life of me I can't find that click - default DVD Burner (output device) - but I can see where you can set it under both Build/Format and Format. Too bad it always goes back to the superdrive, which I never use. Thx!

ha! So I am not crazy on this one. The strange thing is that every once in a while when I open DVDSP, the external burner has become the default, and I can use the Burn click, but only until I do a reboot or shutdown. But obviously then there is nothing in the interface for setting a default. jvenzon, If you do a format and build you can choose, which is what I do each time, remembering to change the Destination to the external drive. Then say "reuse" when asked, and I think that does what the Burn click would do anyway. Cheers,

How can i post the fields in the screen by selecting a record

Hi,
I have a problem in dialog programming.
I need to populate the fields in the screen by selecting a single record.
For example,
    Screen consists of 'CARRID, CONNID,FLDATE... fields.
    By pressing F4 in CARRID field it will display the contents from database table and display the records. If i select the record LH 0400 ... record then automatically the connid field should fill with the contents of the record i.e., 0400 and similarly the remaining fields.
   How can i do this in dialog programming?
   I tried with F4IF_INT_table_.. function module. There is a table parameter DYNmapping. But dont know how to use it? Can any body explain me how to use it?

Thanks for your reply. I solved my problem. It is working with the table parameter 'DYNPFLD_MAPPING' in the function module 'F4IF_INT_TABLE_VALUE_REQUEST'.
With your logic we can't decide which record is selected. Because there can be multiple records for a single CARRID.
My question is how to post the entire record into the screen fields at a time? It is possible with the parameter I specified inthe above said function module.
With dictionary reference it will fetch the entire entries from the Check table.

By selection screen, what do you mean? There is no selection screen in WDA as there was in classic dynpro. Do you mean you are using the Select-Options reusable component? Are you wanting to call a standard transaction via ITS - SAPGUI for HTML? Please provide more details to your question.

TS4009 I have followed the steps above but when I get to the screen to select a downgraded option, the Done button is grayed out and won't let me select a new option. I see a lock up in top right-hand corner, but not sure how to unlock it.

How to avoid blank column display in output in ALV TREE

how to avoid blank column display in output while decreasing the length of other columns in ALV Tree.
Example: please refer to BCALV_TREE_01 and see the output, then decrease the length of all columns . Then you can see a blank column appearing in screen at last, i.e in container. so how to avoid that.

How to enable the screen after triggering the error message

How to avoid the event has been repeated many times in the background

Application, the main screen is divided into two containers:left and right container,
The right side of the container is divided into two containers:top and bottom container,
There is a button in the left container.
Click the button, the container at lower right will using ModuleManager load Module, The following container load of the right of the screen has been monitoring the container above the action.
Problem:
When you click the button repeatedly to load the container in the lower right, it will create multiple instances, and can not be freed immediately. When the above container do an action or event, there are multiple instances of monitoring exist.
The background will be repeat the action or event many times.
How to avoid the event has been repeated many times in the background?
