Can some one give the code of how to bind JtextFields in Swing to Table fields in the database
Am really new to java programming and have interest in learning

The standard JDK doesn't do this for you. If you search on Google, you may find some 3rd party packages that will do this.
You need to create your own form add execute the appropriate SQL yourself. Read the tutorial on [url http://java.sun.com/docs/books/tutorial/]JDBC Database Access to get started.

exceptions.The sample code catches the exception. At that point you can do whatever you want (set a boolean to say the value is not a number, etc.) - the program does not stop.

Hi,
Any long text will consists of the TEXT_NAME, TEXT_ID, TEXT_OBJECT and the LANGUAGE.
To find out these details you basically have to open the text in the text editor by double clicking on it.
And then go to the Header details in the Menu.
Here you will find all the relevant information.
You pass these details to FM SAVE_TEXT to save this text to database and you make use of FM READ_TEXT to read these texts.
The texts are basically stored in STXH and STXL tables.

I'm not sure that it answers your question but under the tools menu there is an option called register schema with XDB.

I have created the below procedure to send a mail if the count is less than 1300. It scheduled daily @ 15 30 hrs. Its fine.

There are loads of "+What if's+" - and in that respect, playing "+What if database is down..+" in this case does not make any sense. You do not use the database to monitor its own up/down status. You do not rely just on SMTP as notification protocol that the database is down.
The correct approach would be using something like SNMP as the monitoring protocol. A monitoring system that can process SNMP and perform some basic root cause analysis (e.g. network to the database server down, database server status unknown). And this system supporting notification methods like SMTP, SMS and so on.

Hi,
As far as I understand what you are asking for I would suggest 4 data dictionaries that will help you to know the table name from the column names
1. USER_TAB_COLS
2. ALL_TAB_COLS
3. DBA_TAB_COLS
4. COLS
These can give you detail information about the columns and respective tables at user, schema, dba level. Further information on the table can be found by querying ALL_OBJECTS table giving table_name as Object_name, or you can join the data dictionaries too.
To know about various data dictionaries avalible in Oracle please query select * from cat;

The SYSVAL table entry for the database version (16) does not match the required version

We upgraded from Tidal Enterprise Scheduler (TES) 5.31 to 6.1 on fresh Windows x64 2008 R2 servers. I did a fresh install but our DBA restored a copy of our database from pre-prod which was at 5.31. I get the error below. Note, SQL went from 2005 to 2012 during this upgrade. Do I need to change a value in this table to reflect the SQL change?

I had this error last night while applying a patch to 6.0. However in my case the version was 21 versus a required version of 23.
As far as i know 6.1 is not compatible with the 5 db schema, so you will need an update / migration plan for the db also.

Plz let me know if ur table is having any key,Value(desc) for that perticular dropdown.If it is ther means u can populate the dropdown By using this code.

3.Get the size of that Table and get the Key and Value Descriptions.
4.Finally set it to DropDown
ex:objYYY .put(key,ValueDesc);
One more thing u need to create one string attribute for that Dropdown lik:ctx_strXX,type is string.
Populate this dropdown using above Code.
This method is applicable only for table coontains Key,Value for that Dropdown.

How to put check box in a table format at the out put ? Urgent issue...

I am working an assignment to assign multiple roles for multiplr user.
In selection screen we have to enter mutiple EMPNO from ..to
1) in second screen we will get the empno, First name, last name, Position,
    From date, To date, Sap user ID, Email id in the table formate with first
    column with Check box.
2) In second screen below the table I have to place the multiple roles just like in
   the step loop format and below this one Execute button should be there.
If we select the multiple employees or single employee and place the multiple roles or single roles and if I click the execute button then the multiple roles will be assigned to the multiple employees. The empno and roles will come from table and step loop to internal table and the same will pass to the BDC.
For this requirement I prepered recording for Transaction PFCG. But I can't understand how to design the second screen that table format and the step loop format. Can anybody give any idea or any coding to design the second screen.
and how to meet the requirement. This is urgent issue. Good SDN points will be reworded.

There are slight changes in the sivas code.Where is the data coming into the table.If its from a Model Node then iterate each element of the source node get that value compare and set the corresponding value in the element of the node binded to table.
Create a boolean attribute "select" in the table node and bind it to checked property of the check box.
