How to find function module's and tables used for the particulat screen or TCODE?

Hello Nation,
I would like to know how to find the function modules and tables used for the particular screen or TCODE or program.
Example : I would like know the function module used in the program RDBGFT?
How can i find that?

Make use of Find function with the keyword "CALL FUNCTION".
Make use of the same find function with the keyword "Select" to know the database tables used.

Hello Rajitha,
1. You can do a "where-used" for the include & get the corresponding name of the exit function module.
2. Goto table MODSAP & in the field MEMBER pass the name of the function module & you will get the Exit Name in the NAME.

Anyways,
As you know LO cockpit consists of different modules(MM, PP, SD, etc)
They are called appl components. Each of them have a number (eg.MM=02) and for each appl comp they might be different Data sources and for each DS they might be different tables. So, unless you be specific we cant tell a specific table for a DS.
coming to the delta mechanisms, there are " direct delta, queqed delta and serialized delta".
Copa is based on the oepration concern. it can be created on " accouting based" or "costing based".

Apart from above replies, you can find function modules this way:
1) Go to SE37
2) From Menu, click Utlities and select Find option.
3) A repository info system to find function modules will be opened.
4) Use wild cards in function module box or short description to find function modules.

Userexit EXIT_SAPMM06E_016 is a component of enhancement MM06E005.
With that enhancement, you can
-   Maintain/supply your own customer fields
-   Update your own customer-specific tables
You cannot:
-   Change standard fields
-   Change data that depends on the document header in the items
-   Change data that depends on an item in the document header

in se80 select functon group and put your table function group name there and click display. it will show you the function modules used for that tables.

i am supposed to extract revesion level, matnr, plant from sap to an excel sheet.
matnr and plant we can get from marc or mara, but i could not find revision level on these tables.
the technical name is REVLV
i searched for function modules in se37 i got 3 function modules, but there was no documentation,
how does anyone get tpo know which function module works for them , with out having documentation.

Hi Vinod,
Go to transaction WE64, click on the search for message type or press shift+F6. A popup will be displayed and here enter the message type for example 'QUOTES', u will be taken to the process codes available for the message type u have entered. click on the process code and data related to that process code will be displayed in the right hand side. Now double click on the process code, a pop up with function module name will be displayed. copy that and search for where used list in SE37.

How to find certain words based on table without overwriting the old one

I have a list of words available in one particular table, based on those records i need to match it up with one specific column on another table. Based on that match i need to update the same. below is answer for this question;
Design a new query. Select your data table and your words table. No join line between them.
Drag datatable.* to the design grid, and the field to check. In the criteria for that field write:
Like '*' & [wordstable]![wordsfield] & "*"
(of course you change this to your object names)
But now my another question is that how i can do update without replacing the existing one. Like for example " Peter is engineering degree".
In this example if i have words like ring and degree on my reference table, then as per the solution it will update the degree first then later if its find ring on the text then it will overwrite the degree on the particular column. How i can prevent

I think what you are saying is that you want to avoid specious substring matches such as finding 'engineering' when searching for 'ring'. Right? If so use the following function rather than the LIKE operator to identify the 'word' rather than merely

Pls share ur ideasAs kajbj said - you need to store a token / file with a run date on the file system. Each time the application runs, have it compare with the date from this file with the current date. If different, it's the first run of the day. If not, it is not the first run of the day. Each time have it update the date on the file.
