How to Build a Report that display values Current + 11 consuctive Months

Hi Experts,
Could you please update me on how can achieve...this
I want to develop a forecast report that can be analysed either by WEEKLY,MONTHLY and QUARTERLY.
for the current+ 11 respective time chars
In the first screen the user selects how he want to analyze report...Weekly,Monthly or Quarterly (By checking in Radio Button)(user won't enter any date variables)
If he selects WEEKLY then it should provide how many Policies (count) are going to mature current week,next week.....12th from the current week
If he selects MONTHLY then it should provide how many Policies (count) are going to mature current month,next month.....12th month from the current month
Like wise Quarter
Further able to Drill down by employee.....policy mature date...etc
I got 0Calday,0Calmonth,0Cal year/Month ,quarter and Policy Mature Date,Employee No....etc.

Can i develop a report which shows....monthly
Current Month.....Current Month1....Current Month2.....Current Month+11
and
an option to use to drill down on this to weekly and daily
CURRENT MONTH should be from Current day to end of current month
Example:
If user execute report on 01/03/2008 it shoul display policies that expire from 01/03/2008 to end of month (30 Days) in current month column
If user execute report on 21/03/2008 it shoul display policies that expire from 21/03/2008 to end of month(9 Days) in current month column
I shall be greatful if any one can explain me how can i acheve this in detail steps

How to fix iframe issue that displays XML values instead of formatted XML in IE11

The following sub.jsp file shows the formatted XML properly as expected when is opened directly:

<chapter1>chapter 1</chapter1>
<chapter2>chapter 2</chapter2>
</book>
IE11 shows the result as below which are colored and can be collapsed or un-collapsed:
<book><chapter1>chapter 1</chapter1><chapter2>chapter 2</chapter2></book>
But if the sub.jsp is opened in an iframe from the below main.html, it only shows the values of the XML in the iframe:
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
<head>
<meta charset="ISO-8859-1">
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1">
<title>Insert title here</title>
</head>
<body>
<iframe src="sub.jsp"></iframe>

Hi ltkin,
Unfortunately, it is not possible in Xir2 to create Webi reports from stored procedures.
Webi reports can only be created from Universe. So in Business Objects XIR3 we can create a special universe that enables Web Intelligence user's to access stored procedures residing in the database. This is the only way that Web Intelligence user's can access stored procedures.

I am looking for invoices report that displays also the customer/vendor name and its VAT registration number.
The customer invoices are SD invoices (can be displayed using the FI) and the supplier invoices are MM or FI invoices.
It is relevant for the supplier invoices (MM/FI) and for the customer invoices (two seperate reports)

Hi Edgar,
As per my understanding, std SAP report won't fulfill your requirement. Best approach would be a custom report where you can update the required fields.

i have a requirement.
i need a report that displays all t-codes,all zee programs,all the user-ids,all the clients logins available and status of hotpack application i.e. ABAP,SD,FI/CO,MM and others.
i know that all t-codes are in table TSTC and user-ids in USH02, USH04, USR01, USR02, USR03.
for the rest do suggest me the tables.

the table that store all zprograms with their user id's is TRDIR.
in the selection screen if u specify the zprogram name and user id.
if u specify user id u will get the list of programs that were done by the particular user.

We knew about this report, however, it gives information one below the other if we run, say for 2 periods, but what we are looking for is something as shown in example below
Empl #      Empl # Name    Prev Pay period Net Pay        Current Pay period net pay.
123              XYZ                     $ 1200.00                                 $ 1200.00
256              ABC                    $ 2000.00                                $ 3000.00
We want to run for 2 periods at a time and get the results as above. That way, payroll dept can run this report and compare if we are paying too much in current pay, compared to previous pay. This is basically to avoid any typos when they create new pay records in infotype 0008.

Good afternoon.
If you are trying to run a report for a particular cost center (or range of cost centers) and have the report show the GL document number and document type, try transaction KSB1. You can update the line layout to show these fields.
If you are trying to run a report for a GL account and have the report show the cost center, run FAGLL03. You can update the line layout to include cost center.

I assume you're using Portal 3.0 (it always helps to mention which portal version you're using).
I suggest you search this forum for "new window". You'll find several threads discussing how to implement this feature in Portal 3.0.

The large image that displays the current weather has dissapeared?

On my weather app and on the notification centre widget, the large image that displays the current weather (inbetween your location and the current temperature) has dissapeared. All the infomation given by the app and widget is correct and the smaller weather icons still appear within the app and widget but not the larger one?
Can anyone explain the cause of this and give me a solution to fix it? Thanks

If your main objective is to print the images and merely not saving the images directly to the disk...I think you want to print these images without scrolling and the full content...So you can do something like below:

How to get LOV column's DISPLAY value in IR report?

I would like to get LOV column's DISPLAY value to trigger another javascript function. Could you please provide any hint?
For example, there is one IR report with 2 column, DEPT_NAME & SHOW.
The DEPT_NAME type is LOV .
The SHOW column is one link image, when clicking it , I would like to fire a javascript to get DEPT_NAME 's display value.
I know I can use #DEPT_NAME# to get the return value of LOV. However, how to get current row's DEPT_NAME's display value?

Is there any way you can create a table join, instead of using LOV as your display type?
That way you can select the name of the department in your IR query, display it as text, and then easily reference it as #DEPARTMENT_NAME#, for example.

How to make a report to display next 18 months of data with when user select a particular month from the filter in power pivot tabular model.

i have a dimension table with month_key having values (201201,201202,201203.......202011,202012) and month name ( Jan 12, feb 12,......NOV 20, Dec 20) and a fact table with columns (month_key ,measure_types, Amount)
My requirement is to create a power pivot report in which when a user select a month from the filter, the report should display the (selected month+18 ) month's data against each type . when JAN 12 is selected ,the jan 2012 +18 = june 2013
, month name should be populated with months till june 2013 only .
i tried creating calculated column"END DATE " in the fact table with dax expression to calculate the 18th monh from the current month as below
month_key END DATE
201201       201306
201202       201307
and thought of filtering the table with month key <= ENDDATE but it is not working as expected. could you please guide me on this ? Is there any time intelligence function that serve the purpose . Iam using excel 2010
..hence could not do any calculation on the report side also. please suggest .

Do you need to show the measure calculated for those 18 months as a total on 1 row, or do you need to select a single month and then display on row filters 18 distinct rows?
The first is trivial as driezl has suggested.
The second will require a second calendar table.
I created this example workbook for a coworker who had a similar problem. You will have to use the disconnected table as your filter and pull your related table onto the rows.
Finally, the easiest way to deal with the sort of date arithmetic you need to do is to restructure your date table to have a series of "Sequential" fields. These fields should be the number of units of time since the beginning of your calendar.
For example, consider a calendar starting on January 1, 2010. For January - December 2010, [MonthSequential] = 1, 2, ..., 12. For January - December 2011, [MonthSequential] = 13, 14, ..., 24, and so on, incrementing by 1 for each sequential month in time.
Assuming you have this set up in your date tables (one related to your model - DimDate - and one disconnected - DisconDimDate) your measure would look like this:
18 Month Measure:=
CALCULATE( [Measure]
, FILTER( DimDate
, DimDate[MonthSequential] >= MAX( DisconDimDate[MonthSequential] )
&& DimDate[MonthSequential] <= MAX( DisconDimDate[MonthSequential] ) + 18

How to build a report on a table containing ORDSYS.ORDIMAGE type?

I build a table with a column of type ORDSYS.ORDIMAGE then I
build a form using wizard and populate the table by uploading
intermedia type and I can make query on that form and see the
image. But when I build a report using wizard, the report result
shows image data as it is in text format.
Am I doing something wrong or there is another way to make
report on ORDSYS.ORDIMAGE column type.

This could be because, you might have the display type as text
instead of html for this column.
Could you pls verify this by selecting as html and try running
the report. If it still not working then pls post your Portal
Version so that we can verify it out here. Presently, it is
working fine for me.
