[12:31:32] Status: Build Error.
Error message: Linker error occurred
Error Output:

Hi,
Did this happen before or it is the first time you use these WSN 3214 nodes? Other than the WSN 3214 (ID 2) that has a build error, did the others managed to compile? Have you tried just one only?
If the rest of the WSN 3214 node had the similar build error message, what is the NI WSN driver version are you using? Did you update the firmware of each WSN nodes?

    I want to build on line internet game based on java applet.
    Uset must instull the game to his computer.And this program mast Connect to the server when user enter
    to this application.Not from explorer,but from my application,like when i enter to ICQ.
    My questions:
    How can i build instalation program in java?
    How can i connect to the server when user enter into my game not from explorer but from game?
    Thanks,Maya.

    Hi Maya
    First of all an Applet does not have to be "installed" as you would with a normal application. The browser handles the install and execution of the applet.
    Check out this URL for more about applets:
    http://web2.java.sun.com/docs/books/tutorial/applet/index.html
    On the subject client/server pairs - see:
    http://web2.java.sun.com/docs/books/tutorial/networking/sockets/index.html
    If you decide to make the game an application instead check out Sun's WebStart - under the products section.
    That's about all the help I can give you.
    Programming a game is a complicated subject - I am doing one too:

      NetworkInterface network = NetworkInterface.getByInetAddress(ip);
      byte[] mac = network.getHardwareAddress();
      /*System.out.print("Current MAC address : ");   */
      StringBuilder sb = new StringBuilder();
      for (int i = 0; i < mac.length; i++)
      sb.append(String.format("%02X%s", mac[i], (i < mac.length - 1) ? "-" : ""));

    This depends on the version of your Netweaver Java AS. If you are running 7.0, you will have to use the Jco framework. The Jco framework is deprecated since 7.1 though. If you want to build a RFC server in 7.1 or higher, it is adviced that you set it up through JRA.
    Implement an RFC server in 7.0:

  • How to build a array with high sampling rates 1K

    Hi All:
    Now I am trying to develop a project with CRio.
    But I am not sure how to build a array with high sampling rates signal, like >1K. (Sigle-point data)
    Before, I would like to use "Build Arrary" and "Shift Register" to build a arrary, but I found it is not working for high sampling rates.
    Is there anyother good way to build a data arrary for high sampling rates??
    Thanks

    Can't give a sample of the FPGA right now but here is a sample bit of RT code I recently used. I am acquiring data at 51,200 samples every second. I put the data in a FIFO on the FPGA side, then I read from that FIFO on the RT side and insert the data into a pre-initialized array using "Replace Array subset" NOT "Insert into array". I keep a count of the data I have read/inserted, and once I am at 51,200 samples, I know I have 1 full second of data. At this point, I add it to a queue which sends it to another loop to be processed. Also, I don't use the new index terminal in my subVI because I know I am always adding 6400 elements so I can just multiply my counter by 6400, but if you use the method described further down below , you will want to use the "new index" to return a value because you may not always read the same number of elements using that method.
    The reason I use a timeout of 0 and a wait until next ms multiple is because if you use a timeout wired to the FIFO read node, it spins a loop in the background that polls for data, which rails your processor. Depending on what type of acquisition you are doing, you can also use the method of reading 0 elements, then using the "elements remaining" variable, to wire up another node as is shown below. This was not an option for me because of my programs architecture and needing chunks of 1 second data. Had I used this method it would have overcomplicated things if I read more elements then I had available in my 51,200 buffer.
    Let me knwo if you have more qeustions

    OOPsorry, maybe I puted my question in a wrong way (or
    maybe it is stupid), but I was not looking for a
    tutorial of what is polymorphism or Inheritance, but a
    tutorial of were you should start to do your program
    (if it was some size), or how will the diferent parts
    interact, or things like those. Is my question more
    acceptable now?So if I don't misunderstand your question, what you are actually asking is how do you decide the cohesiveness of rules, data, and etc to build the objects around? And when should you start planning such?
    If this is what you are asking then the second part should be answered first: Don't actually start any design process until your business rules are certain--processes well defined--and you have taken a very good look at the work-place/environment you want to target.
    Once you have the business rules and understand the process flow for your task, then get out a object oriented design book (not a java book) and brush up on OOP. Once you have the OO Design, then start looking for implementation.

  • How can my java program launch other applications?

    can anyone link me, provide some keywords, or information on how a java program can execute another program... for example, a button click would launch acrobat, firefox, or (in particular) another java application.

    don't read all that much fantasy.
    I've read Eddings' Belgariad and Malloreon, which I really liked at the time but which are not even in the same league as GRRM. The characters are much more one-dimensional, and the plot gets cornier as you go along.
    IVE READ BELGARIOD... AGREE THAT IT WAS PRETTY SHALLOW AND I READ IT AFTER LOTR SO IT WAS SUCH A PALE RIPOFF IN COMPARISON
    His Elenium and Tamuli series were a little better, but still far from Ice and Fire.
    Tolkein, of course, but you've probably heard of him. :-)
    Donaldson's Mirror of Her Dreams and A Man Rides through were good.
    HAVENT READ THESE, WILL ADD TO MY LIST, THANKS!
    Terry Brooks' Shanara series is supposed to be pretty good, and I think Anne McCaffery's Dragonriders of Pern series is considered to be among the classics, but I've never read either one.
    READ SOME BROOKS AND FOUND IT SHALLOW LIKE EDDINGS. HAVE READ MCCAFFERY BUT NOT DRAGONRIDERS, AND THE TRILOGY I READ WAS OK BUT THE TONE WAS REALLY GOOFY. A GROUP OF REFUGES ON A NEW PLANET AT A TIME WHEN THE HUMAN RACE IS ENSLAVED BY ALIENS, AND THE BOOK SEEMED TO FOCUS ON HOW FUN BUILDING A CAMP WAS ON THE NEW PLANET AND EVERYONE WAS REALLY PEPPY WHICH FELT ODD GIVEN THE CIRCUMSTANCES OF THE SETTING.
    Michael Moorcock's Elric series was very good, also very dark. It was kind of... I don't know... odd. Like you'd want to light up a bong and put on some Floyd while reading it.
    HAVENT READ EITHER, ANOTHER FOR THE LIST, THANKS AGAIN!
    There's another series of 2 or 3 books that I read a few years ago and really liked, but I can't for the life of me remember the author, the books, any characters names...
    P.S. If you want to talk about a nag of a female character, you gotta love (as in hate) Cersei. She gets her on POV in Feast. Good stuff.
    YEAH I LIKE CERSEI ACTUALLY. GRRM IS GOOD IN HOW THERE REALLY IS NO MAIN CHARACTER AND EVERYONE IS VERY EXCITING TO READ. RJ ON THE OTHERHAND HAS A DEFINATE CENTRAL CHARACTER TO THE PLOT, AND CHAPTER AFTER CHAPTER OF SOME OF THE FEMALE POV'S GOT AGGRAVATING ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY NAG SO MUCH THE TRUER HEROS OF THE STORY (MY OPINION)... ITS LIKE, SHUT YOUR MOUTH AND LET THEM SAVE THE DAY ALREADY... HEHE... BUT YOU'LL SEE OR HAVE A DIFFERENT OPINION ENTIRELY.
    to you i recommend orson scott card... you've probably read ender's game but he has some really good fantasy too... the homecoming series (first book call of earth or memory of earth) was really good, and the alvin maker series is ok plotwise but the characters are incredible... i found a lot of humor and witty dialog in that series and enjoyed it immensely. anyways, thanks again for the list additions, will read feast of crows first, hopefully soon. glad to hear you're liking it... some reviews on amazon weren't stellar.

  • How to call java program by HTML page

    Hi guys,
    I'm new java programer and want to build an HTML page to access to ORACLE database on NT server by JDBC, Can anyone give me a sample?
    I already know how to access database by JDBC, but I don't know how to call java program by HTML page.
    If you have small sample,pls send to me. [email protected], thanks in advance
    Jian

    This code goes with the tutorial from this web page
    http://java.sun.com/docs/books/tutorial/jdbc/basics/applet.html
    good luck.
    * This is a demonstration JDBC applet.
    * It displays some simple standard output from the Coffee database.
    import java.applet.Applet;
    import java.awt.Graphics;
    import java.util.Vector;
    import java.sql.*;
    public class OutputApplet extends Applet implements Runnable {
    private Thread worker;
    private Vector queryResults;
    private String message = "Initializing";
    public synchronized void start() {
         // Every time "start" is called we create a worker thread to
         // re-evaluate the database query.
         if (worker == null) {
         message = "Connecting to database";
    worker = new Thread(this);
         worker.start();
    * The "run" method is called from the worker thread. Notice that
    * because this method is doing potentially slow databases accesses
    * we avoid making it a synchronized method.
    public void run() {
         String url = "jdbc:mySubprotocol:myDataSource";
         String query = "select COF_NAME, PRICE from COFFEES";
         try {
         Class.forName("myDriver.ClassName");
         } catch(Exception ex) {
         setError("Can't find Database driver class: " + ex);
         return;
         try {
         Vector results = new Vector();
         Connection con = DriverManager.getConnection(url,
                                  "myLogin", "myPassword");
         Statement stmt = con.createStatement();
         ResultSet rs = stmt.executeQuery(query);
         while (rs.next()) {
              String s = rs.getString("COF_NAME");
              float f = rs.getFloat("PRICE");
              String text = s + " " + f;
              results.addElement(text);
         stmt.close();
         con.close();
         setResults(results);
         } catch(SQLException ex) {
         setError("SQLException: " + ex);
    * The "paint" method is called by AWT when it wants us to
    * display our current state on the screen.
    public synchronized void paint(Graphics g) {
         // If there are no results available, display the current message.
         if (queryResults == null) {
         g.drawString(message, 5, 50);
         return;
         // Display the results.
         g.drawString("Prices of coffee per pound: ", 5, 10);
         int y = 30;
         java.util.Enumeration enum = queryResults.elements();
         while (enum.hasMoreElements()) {
         String text = (String)enum.nextElement();
         g.drawString(text, 5, y);
         y = y + 15;
    * This private method is used to record an error message for
    * later display.
    private synchronized void setError(String mess) {
         queryResults = null;
         message = mess;
         worker = null;
         // And ask AWT to repaint this applet.
         repaint();

    * later display.
    private synchronized void setResults(Vector results) {
         queryResults = results;
         worker = null;
         // And ask AWT to repaint this applet.
         repaint();

  • How can I compile program which uses packages?

    Hi,
    I'm building a program using JBuilder9. I can successfully run using that IDE, but after I try to run it manually (run class file which compiled from JBuilder) by typing "javac myMainClass" it cannot find serveral packages which I put those packages' folder on the same root directory of myMainClass. Thank you.

    Man, you should probably read the following:
    http://java.sun.com/docs/books/tutorial/getStarted/cupojava/index.html
    Anyways, the first thing to do is to determine the current value of CLASSPATH (that is a system variable and it depends on your OS how you change/get its value).
    Next thing is to determine WHAT you need to add:
    For each used package check if its (root directory/jar) is in your CLASSPATH. If not add it, e.g.
    - you have a package my.test.package in C:\temp\myJar.jar then add C:\temp\myJar.jar
    - you have a package my.test.package in C:\temp, i.e. your fs structure is C:\temp\my\test\package, then add C:\temp
    For beginners, it's usually a good idea to have your CLASSPATH contain a dot (".") ...

  • How to build a simple app with xcode

    I am new to coding and I could like to know the basics of xcode and how to build a simple app

    Then you're going to need to learn Objective-C, the concepts of object oriented programming, and a whole ton more.  Xcode is just a tool used to write and manage a software project.
    To learn to program, you must first get the compiler which you use to write and test programs.  Thus you need to get a copy of Xcode from Apple's developer site.
              * Find a book on xcode.  Be sure to get a book that covers the current version of xcode.  But before getting far into xcode, you must ...
    Next, you must learn the programming language used to create mac and iOS programs.
              * Read the book "Programming in Objective-C", By Stephen G. Kochan
              * Find a book on xcode.  Be sure to get a book that covers the current version of xcode.
    Next learn about Cocoa, the graphical environment and other support libraries that you need for OSX and iOS.
              * There are many books on this, check ratings and evaluations at Amazon books.
    Once you have the basics, you really need to learn the technicals of programming, like design patterns, algorithms, data structures, concurrent processes.
              * University or college courses
              * Textbooks used in these courses, if you want to do it on your own.
    Although computer science majors at the college level take 4 years to learn their trade, the first three semesters cover the important basic topics of programming.  If you can take a course in Programming 1 at a local school that will get you started.  You can certainly do it on your own, but programming can be a frustrating trip and working with others is very helpful.
