I am trying as follows...
user1 has one function named 'function1'
Now I am granting execute privilege to user2 as ...
GRANT EXECUTE ON function1 TO USER2 ;
But when I run the function from user2 I am getting following error...

You have one of three choices, I think:
1. As you suggest, re-create user2.user1 as user2.<someothername> (implications?)
2. Re-create schema user1 as <someothername> (implications?)
3. Create a public synonym for function1 so that you don't have to prefix if with schema name

If you have a jar file with a class that you wish to use, then you must add the jar file to your class path ($CLASSPATH on unix, linux, etc. and %CLASSPATH% on Windows).
Then you can use the class normally, just as you would if it were not in the jar.
If you meant something else, you'll need to explain what you meant.

I have wsdl of the process i need to call. Also wsdl address on the server. But CALL activity can't use to service call. CALL activity can use only to reusable process call.
I think, this operation must make on composite.xml. But I have a same problem with this method and it don't work.
I create a base process that looking at below. It's include a direct binding. Is it include a direct binding?

And second question is what's the Address? (under Reference Binding Setails option).
I think, i create the this direct binding correctly, i call to base process into my caller process via service activities.

If you want to resue the jsff code, make use of bounded task flow with page fragment and then use it as a region.

I�d like to know how to call a method of another class. I have to classes (class 1 and class 2), class 1 instantiates an object of class 2 and executes the rest of the method. Later, class 1 has to call a method of class 2, sending a message to do something in the object... Does anybody know how to do that ? Do I have to use interface ? Could you please help me ?

Now I have found the method how to use external library. If we want to outsource some of xsjs functions to an external library, XSEngine provides a special format for this, called “.xsjslib”. Then in xsjslib file, we define functions need to be outsourced.
In .xsjs file, we can import a library using the following code:

If u want to call a FM of the other system then that FM should be a RFC enable on one.

Since each destination defines its own program context, further calls to the same or different function modules with the same destination can access the local memory (global data) of these function modules.
To maintain existing destinations, choose Tools -> Administration, Administration -> Network -> RFC destinations

Under certain circumstances, an RFC may trigger a database commit. For this reason, RFCs must not be used between pairs of SQL statements that open and close a database cursor (such as SELECT... ENDSELECT).

And to add to Toon Koppelaars, you could create a synonym in X schema for the table you would like to access via DB link and grant required permission on the synonym to the Y schema.
hi i don't think making it public will resolve the issue.If you can make it as a public DB link, then it can be access from all the schema's and not just from Y and X. But you should consider security reasons.

How to call a servlet from another servlet

hi everybody,
i have a problem, i have to call one servlet from another one.
Everything works on my pc, but when i install the application on the customer's server i got an error about an Uknown URL followed by the name of the machine.
Wjat i do is the folloqing :

the variable servletName is the name of the servlet i have to call.

Sweep is correct about requestDispatcher being another approach for inter-servlet delegation; the only issue that i recall with this approach is that it defaults the method of the destination servlet to the one it was called from...for example, calling servlet2 from within servlet1.post() resulted in the dispatcher attempting to utilize servlet2.post() - i believe that i searched for a parameterize solution to no avail :( (ended up handling the request by placing a "fake" doPost() in servlet2 that simply called servlet2.doGet())
however, if your application is functioning correctly on your pc/webserver then the problem may be external to servlet communication (e.g. client webserver's ports not configured or blocked, missing runtime classes, etc.)
my suggestion would be to set aside the programmatic concerns for the moment - what is the response if you open a browser on a client's machine and access the URL in question (i.e. http://clientserver:port/stefanoServlet)? If it will not respond to access in this manner then it certainly won't when your application calls for it.
It's possible that there is a coding error but, given the info supplied, i'd start examining the environment, first. Let us know if you have any luck with the test i recommended or not (please provide abundant detail). Or, if you've found the solution then you may want to post back with a quick blub so the next person knows how to escape the trap.

Now on click of a button on this embedded view I want to launch another view that is also created by me, in the same component in which I had created view A. But I do not know how to launch this second view

Hello Prafful,
I guess by launching you mean substituting one view by another. It can be achieved by declaring a navigational link in the runtime repository from one view to another. You have to create an event handler on the button and outbound plug in your view using the wizard. Then, on the event handler you call an outbound plug where you trigger a navigation using this navigational link and the view A will be replaced by view B.
A code which needs to be done in outbound plug:
me->view_manager->navigate(
source_rep_view = me->rep_view
outbound_plug   = 'NAVLINKNAME'
data_collection = iv_data_collection ).
