How to call single vi in multiple windows

i have one single graph accessing data through global variable in a file grpah.vi. Graph runs in a while loop.
In my main vi, i have 4 sub panels. pressing respective buttons should display graphs in respective sub panels using graph.vi . I am using event structures for button clicks.
Can some one guide me to implement the program.

Windows 8.1 & Skype: how to call a contact from the Windows Contact List?

Hi I just added a contact on Win 8.1 Surface. When I try to call directly from the windows contact list I get a message that skype has been replaced by skype for desktop. When I remove the skype app (and keep skype for desktop) calling from the list is also not possible: I get a message that no app is associated (message-skype-com) Is there a way around it? Or is it currently not possible to call a skype contact from windows contacts?

- In case you mean removing a contact from the Skype Home Screen when you say, "sign in window," unfortunately, we cannot do this. Skype has some arbitrary algorithm which places recently contacted people on the Home Screen.

How to compare single value with multiple values

In my query I have something like this:
A.SOR_CD=B.SOR_CODE where A and B are 2 different tables. This condition is in the where clause. The column in table A has single values but some values in table B have multiple comma separated values (822, 869, 811, ..). I want to match this single
value on the left side with each of the comma separated values. Please let me know how will I be able to do it. The number of comma separated values on the right side may vary.

According to your description, you want to compare single value with multiple values in your query. Right?
In this scenario, the table B has comma separated values, however those comma separated values are concatenated into a string. So we can use charindex() function to return the index of the table A value. And use this index as condition in
your where clause. See the sample below:

Current procedure can only display one picture per person, however, I am supposed to write a new procedure which displays multiple pictures for one person. When user click a button on report, APEX should call this procedure and returns next picture of the same person. The table is SOR_image. However, I rewrite the HTML expression as follows to test to display the second image.

This is my query which provides duplicate rows in my table:

Here output shows that CUSTMAST_REQUEST_SRNO M984 having two same rows. And now i want
to delete any one of row from that. So, how can i apply it for multiple rows ?
Can any body help-out me in that?

How to make single file from multiple PDF image?

Hi, it's my first question in SCN.
I promise my efforts for developing this site.
Lately, I made multiple PDF image by function 'CONVERT_OTFSPOOLJOB_2_PDF'.(each spool ID)
And I wanna make single .PDF file by merging these image in server directory(not local PC).
So I tried it following.
1. Each internal table resulted from CONVERT_OTFSPOOLJOB_2_PDF append one internal table.
   BL_PDF + MF_PDF → PDF
2. Excute following command.
OPEN DATASET P_FILE FOR OUTPUT MESSAGE LV_MSG IN BINARY MODE.
IF SY-SUBRC = 0.
    LOOP AT PDF.
      MOVE PDF TO FIELD.
      TRANSFER FIELD TO P_FILE.
      CLEAR PDF.
    ENDLOOP.
    CLOSE DATASET P_FILE.
ENDIF.
But files was not merged, only last image was made as .PDF file instead.
How can I do it?

Instead of preparing PDF multiple times, you can combine all the OTF data and then finally convert it into PDF. For saving the PDF onto application server, you can refer following report.

How can point single user to multiple groups in ACS

we are having almost 150 NDG groups in my ACS Server, in that one group is specifically for Security devices like pix & ASA's.
Now My requirement is that i want to Restrict this Security NDG group to one Specific Group under Group setup menu in ACS.
is it possible in ACS Server.
If it possible how can i point multiple multiple groups to single user.
Because not all users required access to this Security NDG group. only few users require the access.

How do I turn off the multiple windows aero peek feature for CS5 on Windows 7?

I'm not sure if this only happens with floated windows but in Photoshop CS5, when I have multiple files open, each one of those files have their own windows open on the Windows 7 taskbar. I'd like it all to be combined as one like how it was in CS4. I searched through the preferences and couldn't find anything related to this problem. Does anybody know how I can turn this off?

AFTER ALL THAT I can say Windows 7 is a dynamite system, that often outperforms XP (both in compute power and in UI performance). And it's more stable than any version of Windows to date.
I can only encourage you to stay with it. It may take a year or more, but it really does grow on you. On my main Windows 7 workstation I run virtual machines with XP and Vista almost daily for development testing, so I haven't forgotten their UIs, and I sure would never want to go back!

How to create a VI with multiple windows/displays?

Hi, I'm new to LabVIEW and just trying to increase my understanding so please bear with me.I want to write a VI where the user is presented with a series of windows and depending on the button, different windows are displayed. What would be the best way to implement this? Is there a way to change the Front Panel all in one VI? Or would it be better to do it using SubVIs? Or separate VIs for each window? I've looked at the Open VI Reference and Invoke Node VIs and can see a possible implementation that way, but I'm still curious if this is the best way. I also considered using tabs, but I want the different "windows" to be unique and not tabs. By "windows" I mean when the user clicks a button, a completely different Front Panel is displayed and the previous one is hidden/closed. Thanks for any help.

First. Yes the property "FP Open" is writable during run time. So you can programatically show and hide the front panels of several sub vis that your main "launcher" can control. Another option is to launch sub-vis that are "Modal" so that they act like dialog pop-ups and float to the top until the user performs some action that closes the sub-vi execution. Personally I use this method frequently for actions like setting test options, selecting test vectors or displaying error information to the user.
But I do want to add a caution, Make sure your user can understand what is going on! By that I mean that you must take into account that most applications have one main interface and, your user is used to this behavior in the applications that they run, so this MUST affect your UI design. Unless you want all of your users to start using the phrase "Well, this is a sdsdsding mess!" you can't get very far away from the typical application UI paradigm. If I ran an app that changed panels, and kept closing where I came from, throughout its normal functions I would become frustrated as a user. As the Developer of that App I would know how I coded it and therefore the switching would make sense to me but, the target user is the person that must deal with it. (And you never know when even the code you develop as a "development aid" will have reuse potential and need to be adapted for a large target audience).

At our company, we need to integrate our product which is a Java Swing application with a Windows application. Specifically, we are trying to call Java methods that reside in our application from the Lotus Notes email client application, which is a native Windows application. Such that when a user clicks a button in the Lotus Notes email client, it will trigger an event in our Swing application. Is this possible using JNI? Do you know of any resources or references relating to this kind of a project?

How to achieve Single content but multiple views in XML form builder

I have requirement something like this.
I am using xmlform builder to generate the content template for our portal.
I have 5 links where I need to render html content dynamically. I am using NewsExplorer and NewsBrowser layout. Presently I have created 5 xmlforms project and design the layout in the renderlist item. I am not satisfied with my approach. It seems very inefficient of doing it as all the content layout is same. but all the different iviews has different content to pick.
To make myself clear I am giving with an example
I have two iviews
Policy1 and Policy2 which are KM Navigation Iviews whose init path are diferent path to get the different content.
As the content has to generate dynamically , I am using NewsAuthor to create the content.
To achieve this , I have created 2 xmlform project( though the rendering format is SAME) and 4 iviews ( news explorer and newsbrowser for each ie policy1 and policy2).
Since I need to generate some 100 contents like this .
I do not think my approach is a very efficient one though the rendering format remains same.
I wish to achieve this by using one xml form project , one News author and one news browser to create different content as long as the rendering template format is same
this is something like this
when I click on the Policy1 link for content creation , It should only shows Policy1 content format . and should not display the content authoring for policy2. This holds good for the viewing also .and also I would like to create only one xml form project as long as the rendering format is same.
can anyone please tell me how to achieve this ?

To make your project link alone visible, try this
To make the global setting for the availability of XML forms, choose Content Management > Form-Based Publishing > Forms Availability > Global Setting.
To make specific settings for folders, choose Content Management > Form-Based Publishing > Forms Availability > Folder Settings.
You need to give the name(s) of those XML project(s) you want to display in the Forms to Include parameter in the Settings for Folders.

Calling single action from multiple buttons

Hi All,
i want to call a common action assigned to 2 buttons. the action will have a flag. depending on button click i have to execute method with flag as true/false.
i think i can do this by getting the ID of the button. please let me know is there any method to get the ID of the button clicked or do u have any other solution for this???
