How to call webservices deployed in Oracle edentity server from BPEL .

my application requires to call a web service which is deployed on the OES server. This web service will accept user name and password as paremeter and rerurn true if the user is a valid user .

You can try to right click on the EJB in JDeveloper and choose "create test client", then choose the connection you used for deployment and it should create a client for you that can access the EJB.

    A little more details on what you are trying to do will help.
    Which versions of JDev/OC4J? which technologies? did you install the ADF Runtime on the server?

  • Issue connect to a webservice deployed in an application server from rem

    I have prepared ESB Webservice and I deployed it to my OC4J Application Server present as part of my SOA Suite Installed to my local System.When I tried to Create proxy for this webservice from other remote system in the same network I am facing problem.I cannot connect to the URL (http://10.177.217.224:8888/JavaWebService-WebService-context-root/HelloWebService.wsdl) from the remote system it is not connecting.
    Giving exception Gateway Timed Out...
    I think this is because of some security restrictions to be changed in some configuration files in OC4J Server configuration file.
    Can anybody help me solving this issue.

    Another straightforward check is to have adopted a naming convention in your JNDI tree. For example, all EJBS are under **/ejb. Obviously this doesn't guarantee that your application server won't have whacked something under there too - that's where the instanceof check will be required.
    Another alternative is to make calls to the appropriate MBeans in your code - effectively doing what the JMX console does. Accessing MBeans is pretty straightforward - typically you just look up the MBean Server in JNDI and locate all relevant MBeans using a query. The nature of the query will depend on the application server you're using.
    Hope this helps.

  • How to call webservice using jdev9i

    Hi gurus and experts,
    i need to consume a webservice using oaf. with great effort finally i created stub using axis s/w.
    now i dont know how to use the stub in jdev.where to write the code and what to write.iam strucked :-( .
    since there were no sample tutorial about how to call webservice from jdev9i, iam struggling to make.iam jus a starter.
    and while googling i came to know that stubs can be created using jdev9i .but when i see new-->webservices--web service stub it is greyed out.
    i have 2 questions now:
    1)if stub created using axis can it be used in jdev9i? if yes ,please tell me how? any tutorial links also helps me.
    2)if the stubs should be created only by jdev9i so that webservices can be called using jdev,then please guide me how to make it.

    Hi ,
    How to call webservices in visuval composure CE 7.1 server (WSDL) ,  please send step  by step process
    Thanks & Regards,
    Suresh

    I have exactly the same problem.
    Here is what I found out:
    In the browser based VC you have to use the Destination Template Managemet from NWA. The destinations are found during design time and can be called during runtime.
    The NWDS version seems to work differently. You cannot see the destinations you created in NWA. Instead there is a preferences setting (Destination configuration). Here you can define the destination using WSDLs.
    This works during design time.
    But during runtime the call throws an error like 'Destination not found'. To me, it seems like a bug.
    Does anybody have an idea how to solve this?
    Thanks,
    Michael

  • Deployment to Oracle App server 10.1.2

    Hi All,
    I have developed a application using ADF BC, Jsf and Oracle 10g database using Jdev 10.1.3
    Application is on my local laptop tested using local embedded server. I have linked the applcation in Oracle portal server as follows:
    <iframe
    src="http://129.217.159.23:4395/GeminiLogin-ViewController-context-root/faces/login.jsp"
    width="980"
    height="500"
    frameborder="0">
    </iframe>
    I am going to view this application in Oracle portal.
    I want to achieve two tasks:
    1> What are the steps to deploy this application in App server 10.1.2 ?? (What could be potential hurdles now since I am moving from embedded server to Full fledge app server ?/
    2> And, once deployed, How do I reference the application from my portal ?? Still use the IFRAME and src url shown above ??
    thanks,
    pp

    Hi,
    Inorder to deploy in Oracle Portal server you have to do the following.
    1. Create a .deploy file using the web.xml in your JDeveloper.
    2. After creating select the .deploy file and create an .ear file.
    3. In the Oracle Portal server try to deploy in OC4J_Portal component in the Middle tier.
    4. Access the URL for the index.jsp page.
    5. Register the provider in the oracle portal server using the URL.
    6. Then you can include the jsp you have developed into your portal page as portlets.

  • Process Modelling in Aris, generating BPEL & deployment to Oracle App Serve

    Hi
    We are considering using Aris to model some business process and using its functionality to generate BPEL for its deployment onto a Service Oriented Architecture i.e. Oracle App Server with BPEL Process Manager. Has anyone had any specific exposure to Aris and its BPEL deployment onto the Oracle App Server.
    - Is there an approach (methodology) from previous experience that someone can recommend.
    - How seamless/complex is the generation and deployment of the BPEL onto the Oracle BPEL Process Manager.
    - Are there any issues or lessons learnt from people using Aris to generate BPEL to the Oracle BPEL Process Manager?
    thanks

    Hi,
    I am dealing with the same problems. I did already some testings using the EPCs of ARIS and tried to establish the link with the BPEL Process Manager. Still it doesn't work seamlessly, maybe with the new realease of ARIS the link will be possible. I am not aware of any methodology in that context, it means we need to develop one.
    Looking forward to hearing from you.

  • How to delete the deployed composite in weblogic server 11g

    Can someone tell me how to delete the deployed composite in weblogic server 11g ?I'm facing an issue where the weblogic server is getting started and immediately after sometime the server changes to "Force shutdown"..When i checked the logs,there is an error in one of the composite i deployed..So now i wanted to delete the deployed composite?Please help ....
    Thanks

    Hi
    1. Deleting a domain will not hold any references. But make sure that under your user_projects/applications also remove the folder that matches with your domain. Basically under user_projects folder you will see 2 folders named applications and domains. When you create a domain say mySoaDomain, it will crate a folder with the same name under applications folder also with few files like em.ear. If you do this, then you can crate a new soa domain and use the same old name.
    2. NOW comes the most important thing. If you create a new SOADomain, at one point, you had to give details for soainfra and mds schemas. If you give your current existing db details (that was used for your old deleted domain), then you may still have the issues. Because the soainfra db may still have the instances for your old process.
    3. If you really want to have a full clean soa domain, here is what you do:
    a) Run rcu and drop the existing schemas for soainfra and mds.
    b) Run rcu again and create above schemas again.
    c) Now create SOADomain using config wizard and refer above clean rcu db and you are all set.
    3. Under your domain root folder, just searh for files named with your workflow and you should see the .jar location.
    Thanks

    What is the best way to achieve this ? Also which component can I use to show the videoclip ?

    im not familiar with the code you mention from Java 2 Unleashed, but your best bet is to read up on Swing a bit - so you get an idea of how Swing containers and components work - then im sure you'll find a solution to your problems. Then if you encounter any difficulties whilst your attempting to do that, post your code in the Swing forum and im sure someone will help you.
