Hi
I am in the book module (LR5) I make a page caption and I want to do that in 2 columns.
I active the cursor to 2-columns and in the caption location I see 2 columns, but I can't go to the second column !!
I try many things but no efficient

In the properties dialog of the Grid and some other items, there is a checkbox by name "Autofit". When this is checked, the result columns are expanded to correct data widths.

Enhancement you should be looking is COOMEP01 which includes the component EXIT_SAPLKAEP_009
i.e., Line Item Reports: Customer-specific Formatting of the Lists.You use this enhancement to modify column headings.

How to change columns in PO overview screen

In standard SAP in PO Overview screen the first column will be Status and second will be Item, however in our system it is changed and the first column is short text and second is qty and then followed by status column.
How can i interchange it back to normal.

Just Select The Total Column, then Drag & Drop accordingly..

Alternatively you can do by
in the top right corner of the item overview you have a button for table control (above the vertical scroll bar).
If you click that button, you get a pop-up from where you can customize the layout.
Press the blue info button there and read how this is to be done.

what is the way to customize the column name? for example for class level, how can we say insterad of long_description and short_description, use LONG and SHORT simply?
i also see the size of long and short descriptions are set to varchar2(60) and varchar2(20), is there a way to change that for each level in AWM?

I don't think there is a way to control the column names within the OLAP product itself, but if this is something you really want to do, have you tried creating your own views?

This will be addressed in R16. However, you can rename the the field to a "Blank" value so it does not show-up in the related section. This forum thread tells you how to do it: Page Layout Tip: Blank Space

Yes, you can. If you are using a field catalog, you can change the field labels in your program.
For example.
data: fc_tmp type slis_fieldcat_alv .
clear: fieldcat. refresh: fieldcat.
clear: fc_tmp.
<b> fc_tmp-reptext_ddic    = 'Material Number'.</b>
fc_tmp-fieldname = 'MATNR'.
fc_tmp-tabname   = 'IMARA'.
fc_tmp-outputlen = '18'.
fc_tmp-col_pos    = 2.
append fc_tmp to fieldcat.
If you are using the MERGE funciton module to get your field catalog, then you just need to loop thru it and change the field which is holding the description, then modify the line of the field catalog.

I am trying to globally personalize the Copy of the Iview HCM Process Overview . The column texts have titles such as Object Type and Object Key. I want to rename them Person ID etc.
I was able to "Hide" some columns in the Iview but when I change the text in the "Settings for Current Configuration" it does not Appy or change the Display.
I am in the Portal Content Administrator, with Admin priveledges. I am opening the Iview objecyt then using Preview.
I then Right cntl click to bring up the Settings for Current Configuration. I am looking at the View UI Element Tree and opening the Grouping of UI Elements. I see the text for the column "Object Key" I change the text but when I save it does not change the Iview text. When I open the "Settings for Current Configuration again the changed text is still there but the Iview has not changed
Any help on this matter would be appreciated.

I have opened the Role object, edited the Work Overview Page inside the role, selected / clicked on the Iview HCM Process Overview, opened the IView HCM Process Overview, previewed it, cntl right click for Settings for current configuration,
Selected the UI Element "Object Type" TEXT and made my changes

I´m newbie as Apex developer using Apex 4.0 with OracleXE 11.2, and now my problem is:
I have a tabular form where one of the columns, when calling the form, is a Display Item, so that you cannot change existing values.
I want, when adding a new row, that column become a Select List (named LOV) based on a query that exclude existing values in other rows already inserted.
Can I change that Display Item to Select List (named LOV) programmatically at runtime?
If not, what other options do I have?

If i am not mistaken, you have selected some field from the table and that field appears in uyr column which you need to change.
If this the case then, you can change it by going into the change mode of the Quick viewer or getting into the Infoset and click the column and change the name.

Can't find how to change column properties in my CSS document

So, I'm working on a pre-existing website someone set up, and need to make some adjustments to a couple of custom commands they made, RightCol and CenterCol. The problem is, I can't find any code relating to either in the CSS document. Is there something I'm missing here, an easier way to find them? A way to change both remotely without finding the code hidden in the CSS document? or am I just gonna have to make new commands from scratch?

My wife had the same problem. Click on the tools icon in your web browser and go to the "zoom" feature. You can adjust the font size there.

Hello Sonny,
In common the order of the columns shouldn't matter. But if you want to reange the order, you can simply drag&drop a column to an other Position. Click on the column header and keep the mouse key pressed, then move it to the position you want.
