How to change Profit center in production order

Hi guys,
I have to change Profit center value in production order. Order has been created and released also. How to change, if i directly change system throwing error...Please suggest me in this case.

User exit to populate profit center in production order change (CO02)

Hello,
The requirement is to populate the profit center in production order change (Tcode CO02). I know the user exit that can populate profitcenter in CO01 but it's not called in CO02. Ther other user exits that I found are for checking but not for changing
Is there a user exit /BADI that can acheive this requirement?

Change Work Center during production order confirmation

Dear All,
I must to modeling this situation:
I created an production order. In routing I used an work center A.
After I confirmed a half of quantity, the work center A was damaged and I must to change it, with the work center B.
The system allow this change, but when I checked the costing, the situation isn't real. The system counted the costs just for the work center A, and no for work center B.
My question is: it's possible to change the work center, during production order confirmation and the costs updated with new cost?

once a Order is released, the Process order detaisl for that order is frozen.
however if you want to do it, change the order status to CRTD after reversing the Movements done.
Do READ MAster data , this will copy the new Work center , redo the previously done Moevements.
if the change is long term.
or
Just manually add the new work center and do the processing. if the change is temporary.

How to change operation dates in Production Order /Capacity Leveling

We are using ECC 5.0 .In production order , scheduling happing as Backward based on the Sales Order Delivery Date .I am doing the following :
1.Demand as Sales Order with Delievery date : 20.03.2010
2.Running MRP with Lead Time Scheduling -2 in md02 and converting the Planned Order to Production Order .
4.Production Order have following dates :
         Basic Finsish Date : 21.03.2010
         Basic Start : the day Pl.Or--Pr.Ord
         Schedule Start : 15.03.2010
         Schedule Finsish : 17.03.2010
        Schedule Release : 13.03.2010
5.In schedueling margin key : Float Before Production : 3    , FAP : 3 , Release Period : 2
6.In material master : Work Scheduling View : Setup : 3 days , Processing : 4 ,Interoperation : 2 for one Base Qty 1
7.In operation : Op1 : Start Date : 15.03.2010    Finish Date: 15.03.2010
                         Op2 : Start Date : 16.03.2010      Finish Date : 17.03.2010
                         Op2 : Start Date : 17.03.2010      FD : 17.03.2010
Question :
1.How to change the Operation dates in Production Order Operation over view screen ? Today, operation over view screen , Start date and Finsih Date of individual operation are not changable with in Production Basic Start /BF date or beyond .It is only changing based on the Standard Value : Labor
2.How to change/re-schedule operation dates d in CM21 (Graphical view -Work Center Capacity load as per   Production Order and Operation combination ) based on capacity availale in advance dates? I am using Time Profile : SAPSFCZ002 -SFC Graph midterm-3 motnhs and Planning ,
How to solve this above issue in scheduling operation and capacity distribution .

Hi,
If you will change the status of message id KO367 from Error to Warning in Configuretion, you will be able to change the Profit centre.
When you change the profit center, the last period should be settled and since then no more postings should have been made.
For the new assignment, only the new order values on the profit center you are now assigning to are posted.

My Query:-
I am trying to create a PO using the T-code ME58. When i am selecting the PR and adopting it i get a message as "Profit Center was set to 9999". However i want to post the data to profit center 1300.To do so the system is asking me to to assign the PSG, cost center or other object to that profit center as well.
Diagnosis by the System
You entered profit center 1300 or transferred it from a previous transaction, such as material receipt from an external order. However, the system derived the profit center 9999 from the account assignments.
Kindluy suggest as to where i should go and change the profit center so that i dont get the error message while creating the PO.
Points will be rewarded.

As suggested i checked the Proift Center in t-code OKB9. I found the details as follows:
CoCd - 1000 (IDES AG)
Profit Center - 9000 (IDES Portugal)
Cost Center - This field is blank
Cost Element - 800000
I checked the profit center in the material master also and found that the profit center 1300 is assigned, which is fine. Also i checked the profit center in my project. There too the same profit center has been assigned.
I changed the profit center from 9000 to 1300 in t-code OKB9, and tried making the PO.But still i am getting the same error.I have checked the entire list of profit centers assigned to CoCd 1000 in t-code OKB9 but nowhere i could find the profit center 9999 assigned. I am confused as to from where the system i picking up this profit center (9999). When i checked the details of the profit center 9999 it was found that it is a Dummy profit center but i dont know where it is assigned and from where the system is picking this Profit center.
Request you/anyone to knidly help me out in solving this issue. For your information i am trying this example in IDES.
Please help me out.

Changing Profit center in Sales Order after Shipment Document

Hi All,
We have situation here, The thing is at the time of creating Sales order I don't know the profit center which has to be assigned for example, I have created a sales order for goods transport, when I create the sales order I don't know which vehicle is going to transport this order and the goods can be transported by multiple vehicles.
For my business each vehicle is a cost and profit center since I wanna know the profitability of each vehicle.
So I will come to know the vehicle ( Profit center) after creating the shipment document, now I want to have the profit center of this vehicle to be updated back in the sales order so that the Billing (revenue) is recorded in this profit center.
Please let me know how to do this. I know the PC field is greyed out after shipment and PGI is done. So how to handle this.

If I went with internal order every where I gotta enter the internal order since it doesn't get automatically derived like a profit center. I would have to define substitutions everywhere !
I am trying to capture all the costs and revenue for each transport vehicle since this is transport business. It's not like my business is something else and vehicles are a part of it.
Almost all transactions will have to be posted with Internal order which is very difficult to configure.
Can you please elaborate on the work around you have mentioned since I am neither technical nor SD consultant.

How to manage work center in Production order

Hi,
I am producing a material having one operation (suppose cutting), which I have mentioned in the routing. I have also mentioned the work center in routing on which cutting operation will be performed. When I make the Production order of 1000 pcs there comes only one work center. But practically, they are producing these 1000 pcs on two different work centers ( 500 on one and 500 on second). How to manage this in SAP.

What is the individual capacacity of the Work Centre -CR02-Header -No of Individual Capacity ?
I think you must be using similar kind of work centre of 2 no 1000 pc .Now , when you are creating routing for this , you should hit Required Spilliting in Routing Operation -Select Operation line item and then Double click -Select Spilitting and enter splitting No 2.
At the same time in CR02-Work Center -Capacity Tab -Hit the Header -In the Bottom of the Detail Capacity Header -Avaialabile Capacity -Include 2 as Number of Inidvidaul Capacity and SAVE.
Now based on thr required spilittinga and invidual caapcity , it will consider the Work Centre Load .
Other wise , you can enter one more operation line in routing with similar Labor hrs , work center and control key in routung for production of 1000 pc .

How to change status of operation (Production order)

Hi all,
I would like to know if there is a way to change the status of an operation for an operation order.
I found a BAPI for changing the status of the production, a function module to get the status of an operation but nothing standard for changing the status of an operation.
The solution is using a call transaction?

Dear,
It is not clear what you want to do. Usually the operation system status is driven by the way you release the operation or at headre level. On the other hand you can influence the user status as per your logic. Please let us know you are looking for which status?

Dear All,
Is it possible to mass change work center in production order, i.e. i have around 100 production order of which i have to change the work ceter assigned in particular operation .

Hi Manish,
If you have not posted any activity or goods to the production order, then in header click on Functions -> Read PP Master Data.
The order will now read the routing with the new work centers, provided the same has been changed.
If you have posted some activities or goods movement done, then its a manual process.

Previously they setted the profit center (YB999) in sales order, now i want to change the profit center and need to give the amount into this profit center 100500.

If this SO is processed partially - i.e. transactions happened - You cant change it
You can use ABAP and change it in Debug mode, but not advisable... Better to short close the SO and open a new SO for Balance qty

I need to change the Profit Center at Sales order Line item in Account Assignment Tab. Currently The Profit center is coming from Material Master for the Line Item's Material as default but I have to change / overwrite that.
Can any body provide me how can i achive that means
Any User exits, substitution or any thing ?
I tried MV45AFZZ but i am not able to find out the right place where I can change COBL-PRCTR.

There is perform which moves the values to VBAP field.
This PRCTR field is stored in VBAP (i.e., SO line item table)
USEREXIT_MOVE_FIELD_TO_VBAP

Try this.
Go to MASS, Key in Object Type BUS2032, select Table MASSVBAP and click on "Fields". There select the field "MASSVBAP-PRCTR" and execute.
Next paste those open sale orders and again execute. There maintain the required Profit Center on top cell and click Carry out mass change.
