How to change the feedback signal smoothly?

I am using only one axis of my PCI-7344 controller. But I want to be able to use 3 different signals (say A, B, C) as feedback (one at a time) in my close-loop servo testing system. But the problem is, the system jumps a lot when I switch the feedback signal from one to another. This is because the change in target position and and the change in feekback signal are not sychronized. Also the SC-2062 takes time to finish the switch. This jump is untolerable for my test. Any solution? Thanks!

I attached a draft drawing of my servo system. Basically, I need to the piston to move vertically. It has a built-in LVDT, which has 60mm measurement range. Also I attach another LVDT to the piston, which has only 1mm range and is much more accurate. I need to use the coarse LVDT as my feedback to move the piston and load my specimen; and need to use the accurate LVDT as my feedback to perform the test. The SC-2062 is used to switch between the two LVDTs and it is controlled by my DAQ (the link was not shown in the draft). For example, by writing a 0 to the digital port, I select the coarse LVDT. By writing 1 to the ditigal port, I select the accurate LVDT.
As you may notice, the motion controller always use
ADC channel 1 as the feedback, but I can choose which LVDT to go into ADC channel 1.
I guess my system is a little bit different because I am not using step motors, I am using a servovale.
My sequence right now is: 1). disable the axis, 2). switch the feedback channel, 3). apply the new PID gains, and 4). load the new target position.
It is causing jump as I talked about in the first post.
I tried to "halt" the movement in MAX, and do the switching, the system goes unstable right away. I have to kill the motor to stop it.
Hope my situation is clear to you and there is some solution for this.

We are using the NI UMI7774, together with a Servo-drive for a linear actuator. In our application, we must first go to a certain position, then maintain a certain force for while, then go back to a certain position....
For the position control we have mapped the actuator's encoder as the feedback device in MAX - and it works well. For the force control part, we want do use the "Force control using analog feedback"-method (see NI-Motion manual, chapter 13). For this, the force sensor needs to be mapped as the feedback device...
(1) The question is, HOW can we make this mapping programmatically in our application source code???...is there a method "setFeedbackDevice()" or something??
(2) Is it likely that we have to have 2 PID-settings (one for the position control part and one for the force control part) and if yes, how can we load the PID parameters programmatically, without opening MAX??
(3) In the mean time, we have experimented a bit: Using MAX and the encoder as the feedback device, we have positioned the actuator to a certain point. Then we mapped the Force sensor as the feedback device in MAX and pressed Save. However, when we run the force-control-using-analog-feedback example, it didnt work. It still used the encoder as the feedback and hence just moved to a certain position.....We then did another try, where we set the force sensor as the feedback device in MAX, pressed SAVE and pressed INITIALISE.....the actuator subsequently started rattling, without us issueing another move command??.....does anybody know, what this could mean and what we should do????......

p.s. We know that there is also the option of "Force Control using Monitoring Force", but after some discussion on here, it appears that the Analog Feedback-method seems to give better force control results in our application....

You can change the feedback programmatically by using flex_config_axis(). The axis needs to be stopped when you call this function.
The control behavior differs significantly when you change the feedback resource, so yes, you will have to tune your axes for both feedback modes seperately. You can change the PID parameters by using flex_load_pid_parameters(). Please note, that you can define two sets of PID parameters and you can switch between these two sets by calling flex_load_single_pid_parameter().
The last paragraph in the online help for flex_load_pid_parameters() discusses this feature.
Parameter changes in MAX are not applied before you reinitialize the board, so if you just save the changes the board's operation mode is not affected. The reason why the motor starts rattling when you initialize it, is due to the fact that you are still using the position control PID parameters, which are typically not valid after changing to force control.

How to change the default view of published iCal's URL

I am publishing an iCal for a nonprofit group and link to the calendar from the group's website. The default URL given (in the send publish email option) leads to the week view of the current week. I would prefer the link to take site visitors to the month view of the calendar. If I go to the month view and copy the URL for it, and use that for the link, I have to change the URL each month, because the URL that comes from the month view will only show the month it was at the time I copied the URL -- it will not change with the new month. Does anyone have any idea of how I can change the URL so that it leads to the month view of whatever the current month is?
I should note that I know how to change the default view in the my browser, but I would rather not have to explain how to do this to all the people viewing the calendar -- just wanting the correct month view to show up when they click the link, without having to change it each month.
I would be so grateful if anyone has some insight on this!

In direct response to your questions, I would say that (as observed by the OP) anyone who subscribes to a published calendar can make a change to their desired view using the "Preferences" icon which is displayed underneath the mini-month calendars.
There is no way that I know of to directly or conveniently change the time-range. There may be workarounds, but I could not find a suitable solution for you.
I would recommend that you provide iCal Feedback, if you are interested in informing Apple of your desires.

Win10 blurry fonts/programs | How to change the accent color?

Recently I installed Win10 Build 9926 on a virtual machine for testing and feedback and I am havin' some problems...
First, I changed the Display settings to 125% and now the third-party Win32 classic apps are looking blurry... [Sorry, i can't provide a image link]
Second: The Personalization "pane" (Sorry, long time mac user) only has options for the lock screen and now I dont know how to change the accent color...
And this, I can keep with it, but I made a registry tweak to enable the start screen but now when I use it the taskbar is still there!!! ANNOYING!

I made a test in our testing enviroment, found that when this problem occures,
Sign Out current user and login again would be helpful to resolve this problem. Please take this method as a workaround temporarilly.

My concern is, i have a document posted to 43100 GL Expense acct, which is also defined as cost element, GL field status G004(cost accts). But when the original document is posted no is no assignment of any cost object.
But i have to reverse the document and when i use FB08, the reversal is popping up with error " Assignment of CO object is neccesaary " Assign the cost center.
Is there any way we can update the cost center for posted docuemnt? if so how? and can i make the cost element invalid for previous month so that it will not ask for cost object and change the field status of the GL from g004 to G001 only for reversal and set it back after posting is done.

load balancer => webcache as loadbalancer (listening port 80)
Wb ch1 and wb ch2 => webcache (listening port 7777)

This set up is working fine for our intranet setup, now we need to open this for couple of external clients. Well initially we need to open on the load balancer server on port 80 for external team to access, it works fine when we make it publc access.
Now when we need to make it SSO (siteminder) enables, when users click on login link it first goes oracle sso then it internally redirects the page to site minder sso.
Well, I have noted that the sso server details are mentioned in global setting sso/oid details. Since we need to open this for external client we have to add a DNS entry for this so that we can allow its access over firewall..
Now I have made DNS name change at my infrserver level, now I need to update the change at the load balancer server (where wheb chache is running).
Any one know how to chang the URL at load balancer.
I am struck at this point please suggest how should i proceed..

I can modify location of all the Media files by passing the related URL form CVP application, however I need to know how to change the default location of Prompt file played by Play Media Microapplication in ICM Scripting.
Currently the default location taken by Play Media Micro App is the Media _Server.variable path set for VXML Server location while I have a separate Media Server.
Please advice how we can customize the MicroApp Media path.

Try this in your ICM script, define set variables i.e.
set Media Server= ip address of media server
set Locale = en-us
set input Type = DTMF only
set App Media Lib = " you new location i.e. test "
So, the application path will be
http://media server ip address/en-us/test

Normally this is achieved via the "ip ssh port rotary " but unfortunately, this command is not implemented on your platform so ssh will only work on port 22.
