How to change thousand of FI documents ?

Hi,
i want to change thousand of FI documents, it's not possible with FB02 (it will be take a lot of time)
is there any other possibility to make this change automatically except of creating a Recording (LSMW) ?
Please advise.

You can use the GL line item display transaction to perform mass change on "Assignment" or "Line item text"

I have defined a leading ledger in system too with these settings

Are there any extra settings required for leading ledger settings?
I have some doubts those are :-

The document numbers in the leading ledger and the non leading ledgers should be in sync, they should not have any differences, so incase you are trying to change the number range for C1, the number range 07 is already been assigned to doc type AE. i guess you have cant use 07 for C1. may be you can try out with an other number range. check this and let me know if you are able to do this.

Ans 1. please try defining document types for entry view in a ledger.
path : SPRO- financial accounting new -financial accounting global settings new - document -document types -define document types for entry view in ledger.
upon prompt enter the ledger and go ahead creating the number ranges for the document types.

No, there isn't. you can't even set your own shor cut keys as you don't know what the documents will be named. Normally you can add short cuts keys but only for those menus options that already exist but your documents will change. I have searched for the answer earlier as I also want it.
There is in the Pages Help menu an option for Keyboard shorcuts but nothing is mentioned ther about changing document windows.

while a collecting a payment from a customer you recieve it from the tcode f-28
so once you are on the screen you are asked for a date and doc type also

How to change colours of the document?

Hi,
I am working on a form that was build from Microsoft Doc and then scanned onto Acrobat Pro to create the form fields etc.
Mananagement just told me that they did not like the colour of the document and want it changed to another colour. (from Blue to Green).
Is there a way where I could 'edit' the colour change using Acrobat Pro ?
Unfortunately, I do not have Photoshop nor do I know how to use it....

Believe it or not since the form was created from a scan (a Picture) its uneditiable
Your going to have to go back into word recreate the document as a document
Save as an adobe quality PDF from print menu (print menu > Hold PDF button down > Choose Adobe PDF or Adobe quality PDF.)
Save the original.
Open Acrobat and add the Fillout fields. Leave background White.
go to OfficeMax,Office Depot, Staples, or any office suppy and a couple of packs of the proper color blue paper
Load up colored paper in Printer and print the PDF.
It will save you a lot of head ache's
If its to be filled out by hand You don't even need Acrobat.
just create the form use a series of Tabs and format the tabs with solid leaders (Format Menu Tabs)
Type one space after the last word before a tab that is to be a field
Format that tab for a solid leader. example "________"
Fields that go to right edge of paper you shoul use it and set it to 7.5" if your using lettersized paper.
If you need checkboxes make sure in Word 2011 click developer Tab and you can insert click boxes
When finished save Document.
Then save as a PDF.
In acrobat follow first set of directions. except you can make the check box clickable field when clicked on with insert a chck or an x.

I have a 175 page PDF and figured out how to make all the web addresses hyperlinks document wide. Now, I'd like them all to be blue (right now they're defaulting to black). How do I do this? Thank you.

Its not easy. in fact it would have been easier to have changed the color first then added the links.
first open the touch up text by click on its button.
next click in a blank space before the link, space over with the left arrow key (end key) until just touch first letter of the link.
now hold down the shift key while hitting end key repeated ly until link is selected. now from File menu choose properties choose apperance and click the Box that is filled in with a color. chhose apropriate color click okay until you get out.
Repeat the process until all the link colors are changed. By the way the PC version of Acrobat does this automatically. Anotherway Adobe slights Mac Users. And to beat it all were it not for Apple Adobe would have started.

How to change thousands separator in IP Web-template?

Situation: in IP web-templates (planning format or report) I see values of key figures in format like 12,345,678.99 . But I need replace comma thousands separator to space: 12 345 678.99. How to do it?
What has been done: in su01 I've tried to change 'Decimal notation' from '1,000.00' to '1 000.00', but this setting doesnt have any influence on appearance of key figures values in my IP web-templates.
Any comment and ideas are welcome.

I think you probably got to play around with the objects of javascript and uncheck the apply formatting option of the table i.e dataprovider item otherwise the settings will have no effect on the dataprovider.

How to change quotation marks throughout document?

Hello, so all my quotations in my document are like this
“It’s a nasty thing to do”
I want to change them to
'It’s a nasty thing to do'
Is there any easy way of doing this? I tried doing them separately but it always made them both the same direction...if that makes sense? So two 66s or 99s.

Find-and-change should work just fine, but there are a couple of special issues with quote marks.
FIRST: If you put a straight single or double quote in FIND, it will match straight, curly open, and curly closed. (But only for its own 'kind', a single straight quote will never match a double curly one).
SECOND: if you put a straight single or double quote in REPLACE, it will be replaced with a straight, curly open or curly closed according to the active RULES. Rule #1 is, of course, "Use Typographer's Quotes" -- if this is checked, they will be curly, otherwise they will be straight. Rule #2 is only for curlies: if there is a non-word character to the left, the quote will be "Open", otherwise it will be a "Close" one. Rule #3 is: the style of these quotes will be taken from the language of the text that it's applied to.
THIRD: to override any of the above, use the Meta-characters for the various quotes. You can use them both in Find and in Change, and you can find the meta-characters in the Online help for your version of InDesign, and in the pop-down menus next to the Find and Change fields. Some that I regularly use:
^' in FIND will only match straight quotes, no curlies. Same for ^"
^[ will FIND only curly single opens, and in REPLACE will only insert curly single opens
^] same for curly single closes.
In your example, you seem to change double quotes to single ones (why not simply say so? ), but you say they change to two 66s or 99s. Perhaps that's a language thing? In Finnish, for example, both open and close are 99s.

How to change content type from Document set to Item

From your description, I know you want to change content type’s parent after creating it.
There is no OOB method to change content type’s parent after you create it. If current content type has not been used, you could delete it and recreate it with your desired base type. Here are similar cases:

Hi,
Normally if the current year rates are not maintained then system will take which is the next available. If you are using Newtork Costing then check the costing / valuation variant which is defined for that. In that variant we have an option to choose a different version (if needed). Once you identidfy your version, then in OKEQ you have to check what is the exchange rate type maintained for that version. System will use that exchange rate type with latest available rate.

Make a document to your liking.
Change the Body style and any other styles in :
+Menu > Show Styles Drawer > click on the little triangle next to Body > redefine Style from Selection+
Capture the page:
+Menu > Format > Advanced > Capture Pages… > Name it > OK+
+Menu > Format > Advanced > Manage Pages… > Delete other Sections/Pages > OK+
Save as a template:
+Menu > File > Save as Template…+
+Menu > Pages > Preferences > General Preferences > For New Documents > click Use template: > Choose > browse to the template above+

if I am not completely mistaking the 360° Appraisal uses the Adobe Forms.
In this case the font can be set in the Adobe Live Cycle Designer by selecting "Palettes" -> "Font".

How can I change a Microsoft Word document file into a picture file?

How can I change a Microsoft Word document file into a picture or jpeg file? I am wanting to make the image I created my background on my macbook pro.

After I had the document image the way I wanted it, I saved it as a web page and went from there. Below are the steps starting after I did the "save as" option in Word:
1) Select "Save As Web Page". I changed the location from documents to pictures when the window came up to save it as a web page.
2) Go to "Finder" on you main screen, or if it's on your main toolbar at the bottom.
3) Click on the "Pictures" tab and find the file you just re-saved as a web page. (I included "web page" or something similar in the new title so I could easily find the correct file I was looking for)
4) Open the correct file and then "right click" on the actual image. (Use 2 fingers to do so on a Mac)
5) Select 'Use Image As Desktop Picture", and voilà! The personally created image, or whatever it is that you wanted, is now your background.
**One problem I encountered while doing this is that the image would show up like it was right-aligned in relation to the whole screen. The only way I could figure how to fix this was to go back to the very original document in Word, (the one before it was saved as a web page), and move everything over to the left.
I hope this helps someone else who was as frustrated as I was with something that I thought would have been very simple to do! If you have any tips or suggestions of your own, please feel free to share. : )
