How to clear the RX and TX rate stats of an interface

On a catalyst switch when I use the command "show interfaces summary" I get great stats on the interfaces. Issuing the command "clear counters" clears the numbers for these stats regarding dropped packets (and a lot of other things, I know), but it doesn't clear the tx and rx rate stats. So my question is:
1) is there a way I can clear them
2) how are they calculated in the first place

I believe tx and rx rate stats are not cumulative counters. If you have no traffic (and your refresh rate is 30 seconds) then those values will be 0.

Hi Friend.
You can eliminate all the files ".TRC" (trace files) to purify the directory BDUMP. These are not necessary files in order that the Oracle Server works.
The file Alert.log is a file that the Oracle Server can recreate if you eliminate it. When Oracle Server's process realizes certain action (for example ARCH), Oracle creates again the file (if it does not exist), or it adds text (if it exists) with the new income.
It can happen, that appears some Bug if the file Alert.log does not exist. Though this is slightly possible.
Anyhow I recommend to you in UNIX to use from the prompt: $> filename in order to take the size of the file to 0 bytes, without need to eliminate it. Is the same thing when you want to purify the listener.log, the sqlnet.log or the sbtio.log.

How to clear the clipboard and empty drawings ?

Similar question has been in the Sketch Forum for half a year already, with no satisfying answer...
My clipboard is becoming an extremely messy merry-go-round. Isn't there even some kind of hack ?
And how can I delete cleared or empty drawings from a project (so not the whole project itself) ?
I can't copy or move drawings from one drawing to another, without turning it into a 'flat' image.

There is no way to clear the clipboard. It just has a fixed set of clippings that get recycled through. In addition to the merry-go-round view, there is also a grid view (tap the grid icon in the top left), which can be more convenient to look at if you have a lot of clippings. You can also choose to view just your "favorited" clippings instead of all your clippings (tap the star icon in the top right).
As for deleting drawings from a project, tap the edit button on a project (pencil icon in the top right of the project header), and tap the drawings you want to delete. Once some drawings are selected, tap the trash icon to delete those drawings. Be aware that this action is not undoable once you choose OK in the confirmation alert dialog.
Unfortunately, copying and moving drawings from one project to another is not supported. However, that and other organizer enhancements are on our roadmap.

I'm using safari on my ipad with ios 7.02 operating system. I've searched for answers in several places but no one seems to know how to clear the bookmarks and history on safari which show up below the address bar when you type in a new website address. Does anyone know how to clear this out? I've searched several places and others seem to have the same problem.

Click on the bookmark icon > Edit > Create a New Folder and call it whatever you want then
Settings > Safari > Favorites > select the new empty folder you just created.
To clear the history:
Settings > Safari > Clear History
or
In Safari click the bookmark icon > History > Clear

Partial payment u create a payment request p as a special indication u can try.

How to clear the open documents in case if document currency and local curr

Hi,
Can anyboday advise how to clear the open document of a particular vendor for a particular company code. Here the issue is that balace is netted to Zero in the document currency but not in the local currency. The document was posted in Currency CAD and the local currency is GBP.
When i check the FBL1N, there is it showing net balance is ZERO, but document is still in open
status. I tried using Transaction code F-44, but it is not allowing me.
Can anyboday advise how to perform this. Points will be awarded.

In the Company code global parameters(OBY6),select the check box "NO FOREX RATE DIFF.WHEN CLEARING IN LC"
and try clearing again.(You can have a F1 help on the check box to see what exactly it is).

Tried that by shutting down via the power button only as the normal shutdown was nixed by the open window issue. It did not help. Found a very similar question in the discussions and it recommended "Force Quit". That worked and the update works normal and the window is gone. Thanks!

How do i clear the receiver and send buffer?

I am trying to communicate with the Votsch 3050 thermal chamber, with LabVIEW as the control software via serial RS232. In sending the required ASCII strings, there was no response from the chamber, yet no error.
The manufacturers indicate clearing the receive and send buffer using the the "PurgeComm(HANDLE hFile, DWORD dwFlags)" function in C, but offer no LabVIEW support.
Does any one have any ideas on how i can do this using LabVIEW? Any Information or VIs would be greatly appreciated.

@dsbuxi I have worked with many patient monitors. They often work in a client server setup. Data is not sent before you request it. And the communication has to follow a certain protocol. Your job will be to implement this protocol in Labview. This is not too hard, but it requires some reading to understand the protocol. I am not able to send you any code, but feel free to ask if you need some help regarding the protocol
And you may have to order or make a custom cable. But you will also find this information in the protocol description. Good luck

How can i delay the line and charactor rate of my serial port transmision?

In hyperterminal I can pick the line and charactor rate , but I can't seem to slow down the rate when using the serial port by itself.

There's nothing built into the VISA or old serial functions but it's pretty simple to program yourself. Here's a VI for specifying a delay between characters. It uses VISA but you can easily swap that out with the old serial write if you want. It just breaks out the text string character by character and adds a delay before each character is written. To add a line delay, just add another delay after the entire string is written.

whenever i change the language auomatically the text has to change when the text exists for that
language.
this is working fine, but when the Text exist , the text editor should be blank.
But it is carrying the Previous editor text itself into it .
How to clear the text in the Editor.
