    Hi,
    First you need to make an entry of your pop up message in the sales text view of the material master and when the user enters that material, he will be able to see that message. The Config part is in spro/sd/basic func/text control. You need to define the text types, access sequences and the text determ procedures.
    You have to maintain the desired text in the material master sales text editor and turn on the indicator 'Display texts during transfer' under Text control in configuration for the sales order-item for the material sales text. This will display a Pop-up message when booking orders

    i created a sales order , but prinit out is not generating automatically for one particular customer, rest of customers ok , it's working fine
    and when i assign output type BA00  manually in sales order  , system throwing error
    "Requirements are not checked with manual create" 
    message no :Message no. VN085
    Hint:  <b>this error is only for this particular customer</b>

    I want to write a PDF plug-in application which needs to show the all colors available in the PDF document.  This is exactly similar
    to the out put preview feature available in the Acrobat.  Please let me know how this could be achieved,  I belive I can import some
    HFT functions from the Output priview plug-in into my application.  In this case which functions are available for import and how they
    provide me the details of PDF colors.   Please suggest me some idea on this...

    IF you plan to have this plugin work in Reader – you first need to get permission/approval from Adobe.  (for Acrobat, however, you need no such permission).
    You can put up your own window from the plugin in any way you want – folks have used native APIs (aka MFC & Cocoa) as well as cross platform ones (eg. wxWidgets).  There are samples of each in the SDK.

    <h4>We have not configured text determination because the there are no fixed rules mentioned by our client. Hence the users are keying in text based on some other characteristics. Once the quotation is final then they need to change the customer number in VA22 which is wiping off the texts. Now I need to fill that text box with the texts keyed in while creating the quotation. I can read the texts using the function module "READ_TEXT" but the question is how can I fill the textarea so that the user can modify the text before saving.</h4>

    Try creating dummy text id which will be part of text determination procedure @ Customers sales text & document header text.
    else, maintain the SO10-text against this text ID. whenver user createds quotation this text will be defaulted irrespective of the cusotmer.
          then based on if user want to modify the text they have to enter manually in this text id. print this text in header.

  • How can we revise the pricing both at header and item level of sales order?

    Dear All,
      Now there's one issue of the pricing to me. i want to revise the pricing both at header and item level of sales order. but after i finished the cutomize and tested it, it's more different as i thought. i found that the pricing can revise at the one side only,for example, if i revise the pricing at item level and it's grey and can't be revised at the header. on the other hand, it's the same result what's happened at item.
      So, in my opinion, we can't revise the pricing both at header and item, right? if not, please give me more advices and teach me how to solve the problem. thanks a lot.

      I didn't notice the way that you reminded ago therefore I also saw the button at the condition tab. And your suggestion makes me know more.
      And I had tested the way that you said, I met with a question. Below is my opinion for my testing.
      I had created one SO and the pricing was $10, then I revised the pricing from 10 to 15 by VK11. It can't be updated automatically at SO and I must update it manually by clicking the "Update" button. This is OK for my testing, but I have another question to disturb you for the use of "Active" button. When I click the button and nothing is responsed, it's quite different what you said. So, please give more detail for the Active button. Thanks a lot.

    I hope u had gone to the screen fields which u want them not to be editable. So there u select all the fields contents which u do not want to to be changed and check the boxes with W.content and Display and save it. Once evrything is done u have to activate the particular transcation going in to the standard variants and put the name and click the activate button.

    is you mail address right? can not send out.
    first , you should have added one field using EEWB ,  then to EEWB , find the extension , double click on the task, there  you will find a  "object list"  on the right, the list will give you many many very important  information , you should look through .
    then double click on the "screen:  ..........EEW......." ,  layout , there you will find the field you have added in .  and you can draw anything you want there , then back to the screen flow , write you flow logic in PBO and PAI .
    about the global  data definition,  again to the "object list", you will find a "Report source code:  ......................TOP". in there ,you can define all you data .
    another thing  if you want to save your input field to database tables that you draw (not by EEWB added)
    two ways:
    1. write update table directly  in  PAI module .
    2.  you can use this BADI :  ORDER_SAVE , this is when you save the order to trigger the save action.

    U can do this in two ways one u can short close the order by entering Reason for rejection in VA02 at header level and if yr order is multiple line item order u can enter the reason for rejection in any of the line item which u don't want to deliver.
    This is called short close ( as the qty is not delivered fully).

    after the we generate thge sales order how we will give the confirmation to the customer automatically or in any way in SAP SD

    A confirmation can be given to the Sold to party for the sales order by means of an output type, which is the  most used functionality.
    You can create an output which can be a word or PDF document, or an email , fax etc. Based on the kind of confirmation you want to give (Document, email, fax) do corresponding settings in the output for printers, email settings, fax settings etc. and enable this output to be triggered during sales order creation by assigning the output to output procedure for sales documents. This part of configuring an output is done by Functional team while the email, fax settings are done by basis team in combination with tech team.
    The output should have a smartform and corresponding report program to populate the smartform. This part should be taken care of by the technical team.
    Once all these things are done, if a sales order is created, the output will be triggered which will send a confirmation document, email , fax as per the configuration to the sold to party. If you want the confirmation to be send to more partner functions, that is also configurable in the output configuration.

  • Picking list cannot preview in Sales Order

    Dear all expert,
    I encounter problem in sales order with picking list in logistic tab being marked.
    The system didn't allow picking list + order dialog box to allow to be choose & print.
    There is similar setting & environment for another two companies. The picking list allow to print/preview in sales order. However, same scenario apply to company C, the picking list didn't allow to preview & print even the sales order logistic tab -> picking list being checked.
    For your information, printing preference -> sales order -> print picking sheet had been marked as default.
    Any idea & other configuration?

    I dun think there is because of authorization issue. As the user was manager, superuser still recreate the same issue.
    Any other suggestion from other? The question still not yet resolve..
