How to connect Dev6(on NT) with Oracle8(on Solaris2.5)
Hi everyone,
We had installed Oracle 8.0.5.0.0 on Sun Solaris 2.5 and
Developer6( Beta ) on Windows NT. I couldn't able to connect to
the database from Dev6. I was also not able to run Oracle Net8
easy config and Oracle Net8 assistant. Can any one please
suggest me what to do in order to make Dev6 on NT talk to the
Oracle8 database on UNIX box and also how to make Oracle Net8
easy config up and running.
Thank you.

Hi, Apart from DEV6 issues, Oracle 8 on NT (8.0.4 and 8.0.5)
does seem to have a problem with the network utilities: NET8
EasyConfig; and NET8 Assistant. The utilities may work once,
but then simply do nothing on futher attempts to invoke the
programs.
I've found that re-installing the network components enables
these utilities to work, but again, only once. I decided it
wasn't worth messing with. I suggest manually editing the
network files. Oracle may have another solution... this should
be a known bug.

How to connect 2 iPod classics with bluetooth
I am trying to sync photos between 2 iPod classics, iPad4 and iphone 5 with blue tooth. The only devices that are seeing each other is the iPhone and iPad but still hasn't' synced the photos. Why re the apple devices not able to see each other?
Havilah Farm wrote:
Why re the apple devices not able to see each other?
Because that's the way Apple have designed it. They have used a particular Bluetooth protocol that is designed to allow audio to be transmitted to Bluetooth headphones or Bluetooth speakers (for example) and some peer-to-peer gaming between the devices, but not the transfer of files.
To transfer photos, Sync them via your iTunes programme. If you took the photos on the device, transfer them to your computer first and then Sync them with the other devices. For photos that were not taken on the device, they presumably were Synced from your computer originally, so simply Sync them to your other devices from the computer.
By the way, your subject question: "how to connect two iPod Classics with Bluetooth"...
You cannot. The Classic does not have Bluetooth. -

How to connect to wifi prompt with Apple TV?
To connect to wifi in public locations (e.g., Starbucks, hotels), you often have to click an "I agree" button after selecting the network. For business presentations in hotels and other venues, I carry an Apple TV with me. I connect the Apple TV to a big screen TV at the venue, then use my iPad to present content on the TV. You will know that the Apple TV and the iPad have to be on the same wifi network in order for this to work. But in locations that require an "I agree" in order to connect to the local wifi network, I do not know how to connect the Apple TV to the wifi network. Is there a way to see/accept the "I agree" button when connecting the Apple TV to the network?
AirPlay Mirroring requires a second-generation Apple TV or later, OS X 10.8 or better and is supported on the following Mac models: iMac (Mid 2011 or newer), Mac mini (Mid 2011 or newer), MacBook Air (Mid 2011 or newer), and MacBook Pro (Early 2011 or newer). You can see which Mac you have and which operating system you are using by selecting 'About this Mac' from the Apple menu in the top left corner of your Mac and selecting the 'More Info' button.

who can tell me where is my WRONG, or tell me how to connect to

on small thing to check (or perhaps do):
Make sure that you are using the JDBC drivers from the Oracle9i
DB client e.g. copy the classes12.jar from the ORACLE_HOME of
the database client into OC4J_HOME lib.
Also, one thing that might help is to define an explict Oracle
datasource e.g.
- Set class to value of Oracle DataSource class
- Use only the location logical name
- Returns Oracle implementation of java.sql.Connection
<data-source
class="oracle.jdbc.pool.OracleDataSource"
name="jdbc/oracle/PooledDS"
location="jdbc/oracle/PooledDS"
username="scott"
password="tiger"
url="jdbc:oracle:thin:@<host>:<port>:<SID>"
/>
