How to copy schedules of a report

Hi,
I am using Hyperion IR 11.1. Is there any way to copy the schedules of a report into other server? I have created a report and have added a schedule to the report in the dev server. Then migrated the report into the test server. Now in the test server i could run the report but the schedule that was added in the dev server is missing in the test server. Do i need to add the schedules manually in the test server as well?

How Can I Schedule a Deski Report in Infoview that has a VBA Macro

Hi experts,
i've made a report that has a vba Macro. I published it in infoview. If I launch it manually (clicking on the refresh button) the macro works normaly. If I schedule it the macro doesn't work.
What can I do?
Is it possible to make a program that simulate the opening and click on the refresh button?
Or i there is another solution?

If you are using Windows 2003 with SP2 then it might be the issue as already logged for BOXIR2.
You can test the issue by using only Windows 2003 without SP2.
In case your operating system is only windows 2003 then following information and code might be helpful for you to resolve the issue.
There are a number of things to check when setting up a macro to work through Infoview or scheduled. The first thing is that the macro needs to be triggered to run. This is done by putting a call to the macro in the Document_BeforeRefresh or the Document_AfterRefresh event handler.
The report server and job server are designed to process one report at a time. Through a macro it is possible to open more than one report, and do various processing with those additional reports. Since the report and job servers are not designed to process more than one report, your macro should not open an additional report.
The fact that only one report is processed at a time also affects the syntax you should use when referring to a document or report object. In the DeskI client you can use the ThisDocument object to refer to the report which is running the macro. You can also use the ActiveDocument object to refer to the report that is currently displayed. Most of the time these two objects will point to the same report. When the report server or job server process a report there would never be the possibility for a different report to be active, so the ActiveDocument object does not exist. This also applies to the ActiveReport object. Instead of using ActiveDocument your macro code should use the ThisDocument object. Instead of using the ActiveReport object you should use ThisDocument.Reports.Item(1) to refer to this first report tab in a report.
These items are the most common issues that will cause a macro not to run through Infoview or when scheduled. The best way to debug a macro which is not working in either of those places is to include code which will log the macro's progress to a file. This makes it easy to determine exactly which line of code is causing issues so that it can potentially be corrected.

How do I schedule the Oracle Reports to run only weekdays (Mon - Fri)?

I am using the Oracle Reports Server to schedule the report.
I have successfully been able to schedule my report to run every day (Monday - Sunday), but the customer does not want it creating an empty report on Saturdays and Sundays. I have tried at least 50 different &schedule= commands and none of them work.
Someone here suggested that to use WEEKDAYS that the DBAs have to set something up in the Oracle Report Server, however our DBAs do not know of anything that they have to do.

If you have monday to friday these would be 5 weekly jobs for every day.

How to copy code from PS Report Painter report?

How to copy Advanced Layout Designer report to another company?

Hi all,
With copy express i cant copy any report that is done with the advanced layout designer (i think in copy express only appear SAP BO standard things). Exist any way to pass those reports to other company? In advance layout designer i cant save the report in a directory that i choose (only appear 'save' and not 'save as').
Where SAP save those reports,in what directory of server?

You can export your layouts from SBO - Administration>Add-ons>ALD>Export Layouts. That will bring up a window where you can select the folder where you want to export to. All layouts will be exported.You can delete the layouts you don't want to import into the new company. From within the new company - Administration>Add-ons>ALD>Import Layouts.

How to copy standard SAP report to a Z report?

Guys, I have a requirement to copy an standard SAP report and make some changes to it. Please let me know how to copy a standard SAP report as a Z report. Is there any simple way or will I have to open the source code and copy it into the new Z program? If that is the case, how will I copy the screens and related PBO/PAI events?

Hello Madhur,
As Raja had said, yuo could just copy the program from SE38. But just remember a few points:
1. If the standard report is being used in some other programs, then there's no way you can make your Z-report get used in all such instances. I suspect that you may not want to do that anyways, but just in case.
2. Just also check out if the standard report you're talking about has any INCLUDE programs within it. If there are too many standard INCLUDEs in the main report, then you might have to decide whether you need to copy all of them too, or let them be as they are.
3. You are likely to have some problems with the text-elements and translation that may have been maintained for the original report.
I have experienced some problems with respect to the second and third points in the past, so it is worth it to be a bit careful.

I realise you're not an abaper, but if you got one in, he could simply create a subclass of /SAPPSSRM/CL_FY_NUMBER (assuming it's not been made final) and override only the method that needs changing. ( if it is final, then you have to use composition, but again, that's pretty straight forward ). The point is, that copy a class rarely, if ever, needs to be done. That's one of the major points about using classes. If you use subclassing or composition, only small amounts of code need to be copied - which means if SAP change other bits in a new release, you automatically get them, thereby reducing the risk of an upgrade mucking up your cloned class.
I'd be extremely nervous about having any code that had been implemented by a non-developer, being put into productive use.

     I have scheduled a background ABAP report titled ZHRWFIT19 at SM36 to trigger a workflow.
     Initially I scheduled this background job to 9 A.M.
     Later I changed to schedule this background job to 10 A.M at SM37.
     Now my workflow triggers twice i.e., at 9 A.M. once and 10 A.M once.
     I want it to start at 10 A.M. only.Though I changed the schedule time to 9 A.M. to 10 A.M, still my background job triggers the
     workflow at 9 A.M. and 10 A.M.
     How to de-schedule this background report at 9 A.M.?
     Please suggest for which I will be grateful forever.

         As you have rightly pointed, I have 2 entries with same background job at SM37.That's why my workflow triggers twice.Now I want to permanently delete the background job entry at SM37 which triggers my workflow at 9 A.M.
        I couldn't delete this entry at SM37 permanently.Please suggest me how to permanently delete the entry that triggers the workflow at 9 A.M., for which I will grateful.

How to schedule a webi report in csv format without header?

I have a requirement to create scheduled csv reports without table headers? I am unable to do this from CMC. It gives the column headers by default in the exported csv file. However, in the webI rich client, I have an option to save the document as "CSV-Archive" which allows me to omit the column header.
How are these two options different and is there a way to get the "CSV-Archive" option from CMS?

Customization of existing options or features in CMC is not available, it will become an enhancement request, you have to place this request in SAP Idea place.
WebIntelligence Rich client is a desktop tool, auto schedule of reports as .csv is not possible, save as CSV and save as to "CSV Archive" from Rich Client is a manual job.
BI launch pad, CMC are BOE Server components have the ability to auto schedule as .csv, as a default behavior column headers will be exported to CSV along with report data.
As a workaround, have a copy of original wibi reports in your webi reports you have to hide table headers and schedule them to save as .csv
To hide table headers:
Edit the report -> Select table block properties -> Chose 'Format Table' -> Under 'General' properties 'Display' options un-check "Show table headers"

How to copy existing query report into new query report in SQ00

I want to add fields "company code" "'region" to existing query report AQZZ/SAPQUERY/FKF1============
(list of vendor address) for this i done as following:
1.In SQ01 go to "EDIT->other user group" and i selected user group as /SAPQUERY/FK
2.I typed F1 in query field and click change button
3.I clicked next screen button and entered into "change query f1: select fields screen".here i clicked "basic list" button and searched company code checkbox and saved it as result company code is appearing in the standard report"AQZZ/SAPQUERY/FKF1============"
but unfortunately there is no region field(LFA1-REGIO) for this i think i should copy the existing query report into new query report(Ex:Z_LIST_OF_VEND) which should be 14 characters.please tell me briefly how to do this because this is first time i am using SQ00.
one more issue is when i selected "edit-otheruser group" and choosing /SAPQUERY/FK i am getting only infoset "/SAPQUERY/FIKD" but i should need Info set: "/SAPQUERY/FIDD" please tell me how to add the previous one into user group.i think if i got /SAPQUERY/FIDD into usergroup /SAPQUERY/FK i can add region also into Query report as i mentioned above by going SQ01 ...............................
please help regarding this which should be very beneficiary to my carrier.

How to schedule the webi report based on data changes in the report data

Hello,
I want to schedule a webi report based on data change in a column in the report.
The scenario is something like below:
1. If a data of a particular column changes from 2 to 3 than I would like to schedule this report and sent it to users mail box.
I know how to apply alerts or schedule a report or data tracking for capturing changes in the report but I dont know how to schedule the report only for data changes.
Anybody done this before.
