How to correct a boolean phrase in numbers?

Hi Guys, I have been using excel to create a top 5 formula which is rather complicated and I got it from the internet.  I have transferred it into numbers but it does not work as it turns part of the formula into a boolean phrase, thus creating an error.
This is the excel formula
=INDEX('Raw Data'!$A$76:$A$98,MATCH(1,INDEX(('Raw Data'!$D$76:$D$98=LARGE('Raw Data'!$D$76:$D$98,ROWS('Top Performers'!B$4:B4)))*(COUNTIF(B$4:B4,'Raw Data'!$A$76:$A$98)=0),),0))
This is the numbers formula
=INDEX(Calculation Sheet::Table 1 :: $A$2:$A$24,MATCH(1,INDEX((Calculation Sheet::Table 1 :: $D$2:$D$24=LARGE(Calculation Sheet::Table 1 :: $D$2:$D$24,ROWS($B$5:B5)))*(COUNTIF($B$5:B5,Calculation Sheet::Table 1 :: $A$2:$A$24)=0),),0))
The red bit is where the find phrase problem occurs
The Raw Data sheet is effectively 15-23 names and the relevant variable is read off in top 5 and the formula in name will represent the top 5 of each variable
Any help would be very much appreciated as I havent been able to figure out a way to do this yet.

Hi Rob,
I was having a play with your Numbers formula when your reply arrived by email.
I was thinking that it often helps to break a long formula into smaller steps.
This is the numbers formula
=INDEX(
Calculation Sheet::Table 1 :: $A$2:$A$24,MATCH(
1,INDEX(
Calculation Sheet::Table 1 :: $D$2:$D$24=LARGE(
Calculation Sheet::Table 1 :: $D$2:$D$24,ROWS($B$5:B5
)*(COUNTIF(
$B$5:B5,Calculation Sheet::Table 1 :: $A$2:$A$24
)=0
),0
Now some indents (spaces or tabs) would help to see the structure of that long formula. I haven't got that far .
If you can find the central formula (it will be calculated first) its result will pass the ball (sorry for the pun) to the next enclosing formula. Then the outermost formula will give the final result.
INDEX and MATCH are very useful. VLOOKUP is a handy cousin.

There are, of course, gazillions of sources on this. But here are two in particular that helped me.

  I think the somewhat strange names of the functions are what make them seem hard to the uninitiated. Actually they're simple. MATCH just finds the position a particular value occupies in range of values. INDEX takes the position number and looks up the value in that position in a specified range.

=INDEX ( Column I want a return value from ,MATCH (My Lookup Value ,Column I want to Lookup against,Enter “0″ ))
