How to count records from 2 tables and show in RDLC Report
hi all,
its being a one day searching for the solution but No Luck.
I have two SQL tables tblstudetail and tblfeereceiptdetail.
i just want to count records from both tables and show in RDLC report.
I tried SQl Query Like This:
select a.session, a.course,

Actully I want to Count How many ADMISSION have been Taken(FROM tblstudetail) and How many FEE RECEIPT have been Print (From tblfeereceiptdetail).
please guide me for this as soon as possible.

I am counting 'OK' in both the table columns I.e 'ADstatus' in tblstudetail and 'feereceiptstatus' in tblfeereceiptdetail

where m.accid=d.accid (+)The outer join operator (+) will get you all the details from master and any details from the detail if they exist, but the master details will still be got even if there are not details.
Note: Oracle 10g now supports ANSI standard outer joins as in:

I am fetching records from database and I want to diaplay those records in corresponding fields in the jsp page.
I am using Struts MVC Framework.
I am giving the sample code below.
In my action class i am giving the following code.

How to delete record from table control in BDC?

I am running a BDC program to delete records.
I have file with following records and i got these records into t_itab.

Now, I have BDC transaction in which table control screen which contains following structure.

MQ100002 S002 09/01/2008 09/31/2008 56.00
MQ100004 S003 09/01/2008 09/31/2008 47.00
MQ100005 S004 09/01/2008 09/31/2008 25.00
MQ100006 S012 09/01/2008 09/31/2008 76.00
MQ100007 S033 09/01/2008 09/31/2008 17.00
MQ100008 S011 09/01/2008 09/31/2008 95.00

I have recorded from SHDB in which first record will be delete.
So, when i loop through t_itab,instead of deleting MQ100001,MQ100004 and MQ100008 from BDC screen,
it is deleting MQ100001,MQ100002 and MQ100004 (first record for each process ).
Which i don't want to.
Is there any facility in BDC to put records on top which i want to delete?
Please guide me.

While doing recording check for Filter button available for the table control, if it available then do the recording for the same.
Once it is done while passing the data from internal table put the value into Filter field.

RHOne option is to identify the table and find out the location as the number of row which should be deleted from the table and then in the bdc program instead of postioning the cursor on the row 1(using the statement perform bdc_cursor ....(01)), replace the 01 with the row number.
Second option is that if a filter control is available for the table control, then filter the data each and every time with the material number to be deleted and then delete the first row.

I try to explain in more detail what I have to do, I hope you can help me please it's urgent T_T
I must make 3 tables should be linked to each other , ie a table where the name of a user will be manually enter, another where you manually enter the last name of a user and the third which will automatically enter the power of each user (for the automatic entry i will use a random data ) . Each table will have a box number , for example :
Table 1, Box 1: Paul
Table 2, Box 1: Gate
Table 3, Box 1: 3.74
Table 1, Box 2: Miguel
Table 2, Box 2: Ramos
Table 3, Box 2: 4.99
Table 1, Box 3: Maelle
Table 2, Box 3: Branco
Table 3, Box 3 : 4.98
I mean, I link the box to a table with the other three . And given that the program must compare the data in Table 3 (power ) and display data from the best user ( who has the highest power). In this example, the program should display :
BEST USER :
NAME: MIGUEL RAMOS
POWER: 4.99
(Is not nessesary save the information when i will close the program)
I do not know if I 'm asking a lot , I have a very clear idea in my head of what I have to do , but being a new software for my not know how to implement it .

-Please check the snippet it does exactly what you said.
-The Box 1,2,3 you mentioned are array indices.For example if you use table_1 and index it with 0(Yes, arrays index starts from 0), you will get first element which is Miguel-Vi used is Index Array.
-For linking you can use string concatenation. Get each element from array using proper index and use Concatenate Strings.
-I am getting the last Numerical Table and passing it to Array Max and Min to get where maximum value is and using same index (Box value) am getting full name.

I have a report in which a graph is placed below a table and data in the table gets increased with time , then how to maintain the gap as constant between table and the graph ?? Like i have 50 rows in a table and then next day 10 rows are added but then i want maintain same gap between the table and graph???>Right click on chart.

I need to retrieve the records from Relationship table. In Java API's I came to know there is an option to retrieve this. I could not find anything in ABAP API's. Is there any option in ABAP API's to do this.

You can mainly read records from MDM (in a DDIC structure) using ABAP API's using the following function modules/methods:
1. RETRIEVE: This is used to generically retrieve records from tables. Attributes and Values can also be retrieved.
2. RETRIEVE SIMPLE: Retrieve records from MDM in a simple way.( simple data types).
3. RETRIEVE CHECKOUT: Retrieves all checked out ID's.
4. RETRIEVE ATTRIBUTES: Retrieves attribute(s) from a Taxanomy table.
You will find all these methods in the following interface
Interface : IF_MDM_CORE_SERVICES

I have to select some records from table control and then want to save the selected records in DB table.

Be careful though. If select option is emty, you will delete the entire table.

In a webdynpro application,
I created a table and witten the below code to populate the table

As per the code, i got 2 row in the table.
But , i have one Empty row on top of the table , how to get ride of this.
i find the same problem happening with dropdown too, where i used DDBI, i populated a the content as mention, but i initial 2 row as blank and then i have my own elements ,as per my code.>

Counting Record from OPEN FOR statement

Is there a way to count the number of record produce by OPEN ... FOR statement...?
I tried using %ROWCOUNT. It doesn't seems to be working. It returned me 0 though when i printed the cursor, i had 7 records.

My mac book air is not showing internal speakers in the drop down
I had attached speakers to my mac book air. Now after disconnecting them my note book isn't detecting its own in built speakers. When I switch it on the sound comes through the speakers but after that you can only listen to stuff via head phones.
