How to Create a Back button in Flash

Hi all,
I need to create a back button for my flash app. It doesn't
need to be connected with Browser. It just need be able to remember
what frame they were viewing, and bring them back.
Is there any event I can use for this? I made an variable
called "visited:Number" and change it on every frame, but this
won't work. Once the user enters a new frame, the original visited
number is replaced by current already. I don't know how to hold
that number, before they leave the current frame.
Can anybody give me little clue/direction please?

I believe that you should look at the Forms functionality for UCM . Under Content Management - Web Form Editor will show up the editor where in you can add buttons and attach functionalities to it . With UCM 11g this is not available thus you might need to use AJAX to build the requirement .

If you are looking for a more advanced case as describe, you will need to reference the last navigation outcome in a managed bean so that you can execute it when the back button is clicked.

While the Note 4 is a reasonably large device it still falls into the phone layout bucket. We need this layout to function on very small screens some as low as 320 pixels high and 240 pixels wide. These sorts of devices don't have the space for a full toolbar.

How to use a back button in action pages?

Hi all,
I have created a user login page,home page and user profile page.
If the user provide correct username and password in the login page he will be taken to home page.
In the home page he will be having his username and a link to view his profile.
When the user click on the link "My Profile(user profile)" he wil be taken to that page.
In my profile page the user can edit only his firstname,lastname and password .
On the user profile page i have placed a Back Button(using javascript: on onclick event i have used history.back()) to go back to home page after editing his profile.
If the user edit his profile for n-number of times then atlast if he wants to go back to home page-then he wil cilck the back button.
Now the problem occurs like the back button not going to home page and it simply going back with the edited history.
How to use a back button in action pages; without repeating the actions done on the page; how to redirect to the users home page?
I simply used the hyperlink in userprofile page to go to home page but when i click onit it is displaying blank home page.
I'm using hibernate orm mapping; cflogin and cflogout tags.

Create a back button in quiz

Hi -
I'm pretty new to Adobe Captivate but I need to create a quiz pretty quickly which I want to import to Flash.
When clicking on a button in Flash I want the quiz to open up which works fine but as soon as I close the quiz
I would like to go back to my main page. Can I create a button in Captivate which goes back to my main page?

Sorry, but it isn't exactly clear what you hope to accomplish. You mention creating a Back button, but then mention importing the content to Flash. One might assume that you want the Back button to jump to some location inside Flash.
Perhaps your question makes sense to someone experienced with Flash, but I'm going to guess it may not. Hopefully one of our "Flash savvy" folks will see this and offer comments.

You should use jdev to define a radiogroup and radio buttons under that, wrap that definition inside a stackLayout in jdev, use personalization to add a stackLayout and extend the region which you had created earlier in jdev.

How to create a custom Button in a SNP planning book

Hi Experts,
I created my own Planning Book and Dataview in SNP with 3 Key Figures: KF1, KF2, KF3. Now I want to create one my own button with Macro so that when I press that button, the Macro will run to calculate: KF3 = KF1 + KF2.
I know that I can drag this Macro to one of default events like: Default, Level Change, Start. But actually, I want to create my own button so that I can handle the event as I want.
My question are:
1. How to create a custom button on the toolbar of SNP Planning book and writing macro for the button?
2. Please give me any document, material teaching about writing macro and relating to my above scenario.

Hi,
Access the transaction "/n/sapapo/advm". In the list select your planning book/ data view and click 'Start Macro Builder' button.
In the Macro builder screen, drag and drop your macro from Macro depot to the work area.
Right click on your macro name and select 'properties'. In the pop up, next to the Assigned Push button field, there is a button 'Choose'. Click that. It will display all the available icons. In standard system, it displays more than 1000 icon. Choose any one icon which is suitable for your macro function. Close the pop up and save the macro. This will assign a push button to your macro.
In the Planning book tool bar, you can see the selected icon in the header tool bar. Just by clicking that icon, you can execute the macro interactively.
And I don't know whether we can include/design our own icon. But there are already 1000+ standard icons to choose.

How to Create a Persistent button on the top HTML gallery

Hi,
In my InDesign Folio I have an article with full page HTML photo gallery. The photo grid occupies the full screen. I want to create a Persistent button on the top of this gallery which user can tap to go to the Main Menu page. This button is always visible at one place even as user scrolls up and down the gallery. I tried creating it on the top layer, and on the top layer for Master page, but the button disapperas when the HTML gallery loads.
So the user does not see any button to navigate out of the gallery to another article.
Any ideas how to create the persistent button ?

Depending on if you are using the HTML as either an article or in an overlay, you may be able to either use the standard navto and goto hyperlinks syntax or place a blank button on top of your link in the HTML.
I am not sure if using the standard navto and goto syntax will work between an HTML article and an Indesign article. Maybe Bob Bringhurst, Bob Levine, or one of the staff members can clarify. If you are using your HTML in an overlay, you can add a transparent button on top of your link or image to return to whatever page you like.

But it has to be precise; there has to be some indication that you're thinking and paying attention.
Spell, punctuate, and capitalize correctly. Don't confuse "its" with "it's", "loose" with "lose", or "discrete" with "discreet". Don't TYPE IN ALL CAPS; this is read as shouting and considered rude. (All-smalls is only slightly less annoying, as it's difficult to read. Alan Cox can get away with it, but you can't.)
More generally, if you write like a semi-literate b o o b you will very likely be ignored. So don't use instant-messaging shortcuts. Spelling "you" as "u" makes you look like a semi-literate b o o b to save two entire keystrokes.
