How to create JavaBeanModel in Local DC of type WebDynPro

Hi All,
I am trying for create JavaBeanModel with LocalDC. I have 2/3 Java class files binded in Jar file. I want use those jar file classes in JavaBeanModel.How to create JavaBean Model in LocalDC with Jar file not with Single Java class.

Hi Adam,
The option to import java files through jar files in a local WD project is through the option "Local Jar Files". However for local WD DC project, the option is not available and you must have these jars contained in another Dc project and expose them in the form of public parts jars. Then you must define a dependency of the WD DC to the DC containing the jar file.

I would like to save a copy of an IMAP-Message to my db without the attachments.
As I cannot modify the original message, I tried to create a new MimeMessage with the constructor MimeMessage(MimeMessage source) and then remove the attachments - this works fine so far, but using this constructor only the body seems to get copied without subject, recipients or from-address.
Can anybody give me a hint how to create an identical local copy of a Message-Object? I would rather like to do this without installing any local third party providers.

Sorry, found the problem - I did some things with the InputStream before I should not have - now the message gets saved without attachments and can be reopened.

Info : I have portal ( NW 700), recently i switched the datasource of portal to LDAP from local datasource.
issue: if i create user in portal it get created in LDAP, i want create few users in Local datasource.
how to create user in local datasource when UME is already switched to LDAP?
one solution is change the ume back to local datasource > create user > then switch back to LDAP.
do you know any other sol?

How to create a numeric control (of any type) that can ONLY be increased or decreased by one 'unit' at a time?

As in the title. I wish to create a numeric control (no current limitations on its type) with a range of 1-10 (and a step of 1). The only difficulty I'm having is that the user must only be able to increase or decrease it by 1 at any time. The code initiated by this value change must have completed at least once before the value can be changed again. This is because the VI's code is mostly contained in a while loop, and the control is read once every iteration and its last value must not differ by more than 1.
Is this possible with LabVIEW 6.1 and if so, how?
One of the solutions I've come up with so far is to disable the control immediately after it's read, and to enable it again immediately before it's read for the next time (I have to assume that the user is unable to click twice before the control is disabled). Is this an acceptable method or is there a better way?
I also had an idea of partially disabling a normal numeric control such that it could not be typed in - only the arrows remained operational. However, i don't know quite how to do this.

Yes, i realize my solution needs the idea that followed it to be feasable in order to work properly. My bad!
I did wonder about using a combination like that, but I hoped it could all be done with one object. Ah well - just means adding an extra little bit of code. No probs.

This message applies to a problem with change requests. When creating a message, it's a workbench request that system has to create. Apparently, when you try to create a message, it tries to catch 'tramp' on existing CR which is assigned to a different client in your system. You should try assigning a new CR for this change; you could ask your BASIS team to help you on this.

The button Ids are same for both the buttons in your code. You need to change it as BUTTON1, BUTTON2.

I've 3 internal tables with the same structure, I think I could put a type structure and put that type inside the body of the internal data, is this possible? If true, how can I put that?
Example:

How to create programmatically a new step type in TestStand (to myTypes.ini)

I need to create a new step type to myTypes.ini file programmatically. I have tried to do it with following steps:
- Get reference to engine
- Load type palette files
- creating new step type (engine.NewSteptype() )
- Inserting new type using TypeUsageList.InsertType method. Problem with this is the first parameter. It excpects it to be in a form of PropertyObject, but engine.NewStepType returns it as a StepType object. If I try to use StepType.AsPropertyObject it returns an error.
How to convert StepType object to a PropertyObject?
