Hi Every one,
How to create value base permits
For Exapmle
If the cost of order is blow 50,000 then this permit will be aproved by person X
and when cost of order increases above 50,000 then permit will be aproved by person Y
I hope I m clear in my question

You can use class characteristics concept for the permit with value There is class type 049 for permit/licenece in the system.

Hi,
Create one Search Help in the SE11 for the particular Field that u want to display. In the Screen(Transaction SE51),For that Text Box in the Attributes,in Dict Tab ->Search Help Field give that Search Help Name.
For Eg,
If u want Purchase Order Numbers in that F4 Help.Create one Search Help by giving Table Name as EKKO & Search Help Parameter as EBELN with Lpos & Rpos as 0 & 1.Save & Activate it.
Give this Search Help Name in Dict Tab ->Search Help Field of that Screen Attributes.

Create Business Partner from Txn : BP and extend same BP to role Employee. In Identification tab there is field user name just assign your User Id here and save.

How to create value objects from xml

I am receiving xml back from my web service ( e4x ). I am
trying to figure out how to create a value object without having to
manually fetch each value in the value objects constructor. I am
using introspecton in my Java web service to do this. Is there such
a thing in Action Script?
Anyone done this before that can share some code???? Any help
would be very much appreciated.

That's twice now I've heard that. lol.
I am using Cairngorm and I suppose out of ignorance perhaps,
I am using VO's. So my web service would return an Object Proxy and
I have some code that could create objects dynamically from the
results. The objects had to be simple of course and now they are
becoming more complex thus the need to change to e4x instead of
objects.
So now I am trying to convert the xml result into the desired
VO to be used throughout the rest of the application. I'm not sure
how to use Cairngorm without the VO's they are tied to everything.
Are you familiar with the architecture? Your thoughts?

You can have permits assigned based on classification values.
See note 331093 for some more information. Not sure if this gives you exactly what you want or not.

In BI or BW go to the object Company Code n change more under Business explorer mark Check the authorization relevant field.
Now go to basis guy or if u have the authorization in BI for RSECADMIN(T-CODE)
Under which Authorization n maintenance Tab.
Create Authorization Relevant Object. Like ZN_CCODE n in which select 0COMP_CODE. After selecting the Company code double click on that n under which u can give restriction for the particular company code.
It will surely help you.

How to create installed base through workflow

Hello everybody,
We are doing a CRM implementation for a telkom company and we have a requirement as such.
Suppose we are creating a contract for 10 products and then in the follow up transaction sales order I activate 5 of them.So my requirement is that we need to update the number of activated product in the contract as well..i.e- if 5 products are activated we need to ensure that in the contract this data is update.We want to achieve this functionality using workflows.Is there any method to created installed base components through workflow.

How to create values for a survey on creating an Activity

Hi,
How can i obtain the template for answers of a survey so that i can fill in my question/answer combination and attach it to a new activity?
I have been able to find the MF 'SURVEY_TEMPLATES_GET' which returns me an internal table of 'values template' which actually is an XML string. The XML however doesn't contain all the possible answers / questions.
My idea was to get the template XML, clean the values and fill in my own and finally add the survey answers to an activity using FM 'CRM_ORDER_MAINTAIN'.
Does anyone have an idea on how i can proceed?
P.S: The solution is to be implemented on CRM 4.0

Thanks for the tip. I'v actually been able to find a solution. Luckily SAP has got some classes that does the xml answer manipulation. Here is the algo :
1. Create an instance of the class cl_crm_svy_runtime to obtain the survey template:
CREATE OBJECT go_svy_runtime
   EXPORTING
     i_application_id = 'CRM_SURVEY_ACTIVITY'
     i_survey_id      = 'MULTI-APPEL'
     i_survey_version = '0000000001'
     i_language       = 'F'
     i_media_type     = svydb_mtype_screen
     i_valueguid      = space
   EXCEPTIONS
     survey_not_found = 1
     values_not_found = 2
     survey_outdated = 3
     OTHERS           = 4
2. Get the survey template (xml):
CALL METHOD go_svy_runtime->get_xml
IMPORTING
    e_survey_xml     = xml_content .
3. Create an instance of the class cl_crm_svy_values (to be able to manipulate the values):
CREATE OBJECT go_svy_values
EXPORTING
    i_internal_values_xml   = xml_content
EXCEPTIONS
    error_in_generation     = 1
    error_in_parsing        = 2
    error_in_transformation = 3
    OTHERS                  = 4.
4. Set your survey values (question, answer, values):
CALL METHOD go_svy_values->values_set
EXPORTING
    i_question_id = 'q1'
    i_answer_id   = 'a1'
    it_values     = lt_values.
5. Convert the values back to xml:
CLEAR xml_content. " Important!
CALL METHOD go_svy_values->update_values_xml
IMPORTING
    e_public_values_xml     = xml_content
EXCEPTIONS
    error_in_generation     = 1
    OTHERS                  = 2
6. Convert the xml to hexadecimal:
CALL FUNCTION 'CRM_SVY_DB_CONVERT_STRING2HEX'
EXPORTING
    s = xml_content
IMPORTING
    x = ls_survey-valuexml.
7. Build the survey structure and call the crm_order_maintain FM:
CALL FUNCTION 'CRM_ORDER_MAINTAIN'
EXPORTING
    it_survey         = lt_survey
CHANGING
    ct_input_fields   = lt_input_fields
EXCEPTIONS
    error_occurred    = 1
    document_locked   = 2
    no_change_allowed = 3
    no_authority      = 4
    OTHERS            = 5.
And this should enable you to add add the values dynamically to your activity. Sorry for not providing more detailed information, i'm currently completing the development. Feel free to contact me if you have questions about the solution i have found.

Self defined type how to create value attribute

Hello!
How can I create a new context "value attribute" if its
type is doesn't exist in the drop down list
where you can choose either a primitive data types
or a java Type. It is an self defined class.
It's name is "Notebook". I want to bind all the Notebooks
with a value attribute. The method returns a Notebooks-Array.
How can I deal in such cases?

Hi,
You need to put your java file inside src-->your package. As you said it is already there, then try to reload and rebuild your project. It must show in the java native types when you browse.
Even check the package statement of your java file.

You can achieve this via Workshop 9.2 by using the exported Ant script for your project as follows:
-Ensure that all Jars needed to resolve com.bea.p13n.property.EntityPropertyManager (this particular class is found in weblogic92/common/p13n/lib/p13n_ejb.jar) and all referenced classes are added to the Java build path for your WebLogic EJB project (Properties->Java Build Path->Libraries)
-Export the "Workshop Ant Script" for your WebLogic EJB project (File->Export->Workshop Ant Script); this will generate a "build.xml" Ant script under your project root directory.
-Edit this default build script as follows: in the call to the "ejbgen" task within the "build" target, add the attribute: propertyFile="ejbgen.properties"
-Create a file "ejbgen.properties" under the root of your WebLogic EJB project and add the following entry:
YourSessionBeanClassName.remote.baseClass=com.bea.p13n.property.EntityPropertyManager
-Add a "<path refid="java.classpath"/>" within the "<classpath>" for the "java" task element that calls "weblogic.ejbc" (this will ensure that the p13n classes are resolved by EJBC)
