How to decrease the ADO connection memory?

Hello!
I wrote a vb application that have a connection to Oracle DB.
Only the connection 'coast' me 7MB of memory in the client.
There is something i can do to decrease the memory usage.

I am getting this when I pull data from a table that has over 100 columns and I only pull 25 rows. The columns have some CLOBS in them.
I have been dealing with this issue for 8 years since I started using Oracle 8 client etc...
I has had patch after path reporting to fix this, and has got better, but the leak still crops up always.
I am going to try the latest ODAC drivers for 10.0.2.0.2 We are using Oracle 10.0.2.0.1 client drivers to the same db.
I would suggest you remove CLOBS, place the CLOBS as the last columns in the table/select statement, switch to ODBC, write your own driver or rewrite your product in ASP.NET 2.0 and use the Oracle .NET driver. Oh and pray!
I have probably torn half my hair out over the years cos of this 1 issue.

I build a HTTP server between live camera and flash player. The flash player connect http server with NetStream. But i find there is a long latency and NetStream doesn't decode frames when the buffersize reach a special value. So i want to know, how to decrease the latency in those environment?
And why the frame cannot be decoded when the buffersize reachs a special value. I find the buffersize*framerate is about 64. Can i low this value?

Here is an easy way to move your messages from Phone Memory to Memory Card or from Memory Card to Phone memory In Nokia models.
1- Install latest version of Nokia PC Suite and connect your set.
2- Open Nokia Communication Centre. (Select Phone Memory or Memory Card from which you want to move messages to other memory)
3- Select all messages in a single folder (Inbox/Sent Items or from My Folders) and click on file> export. This will create *.csv file.
4- Download NBU Explorer 1.8 from http://www.soft82.com/download/windows/nokia-nbuexplorer/ (You must have installed Windows Installer 3.1 and Microsoft .Net Framework 3.5 to run NBU Explorer. You can easily download these from Microsoft Site,)
5- Open *.csv file in NBU Explorer and click File > Export All. (Your all messages will be exported as *.vmg files.)
6- Disconnect and connect your phone again in Nokia PC Suite.
7- Now set your target memory in your phone for messages.
8- Open Communication Centre and Select your desired folder then click on file > Import messages by selecting multiple messages *.vmg files. (You don’t have to import messages one by one but you can import all messages in a single folder at once)
9- And you have done it.
10- You can import *.csv list in Nokia PC Suite rather *.vmg files, but in this case, all the spaces (blank spaces) in your messages will be lost. All the text of your messages will be merged to a single line. So exporting via NBU Explorer is recommended.

Under Network Preferences, select the WiFi
click on "Advanced..." button
Select the network you want to delete from the list and click on "-"
Click "Ok"
Click "Apply"
Well done ;-)
You may also want to delete the wireless key from Keychain.
Open Keychain, seach for the old wifi network name, slect it and click delete

How to decrease the width of left column in the "2 column layout"?

I create two webdynpro based iViews in the EP, then I create a page use the "2 column layout(Narrow:Wide)".I put one iview in the left column and another iview in the right column. When I preview my page, I found the left column still too wide. So how to decrease the width of my page's left column?

Hi Deyang,
You have to create your own layout:
- Navigate to System Administration->Support
- Choose Portal Runtime -> Browse Deployment
- Navigate under pcd or under temp, and download the layouts par (com.sap.portal.layouts.default.par.bak if I recall correctly)
- Import that par as a project to Developer Studio
- Make your changes (create a new jsp acording to the existing examples, and update the portalapp.xml accordingly)
- Export to par (in a different name!) and deploy
- In the portal content: new from par -> Layout (don't forget to mark it as a template).
- Your new layout template will now be available when you create new pages.

Flash file that i made with Flex Builder uses memory too
much.
Look at the next example source code.

but just memory usage still goes up, is not freed instantly.
so if i load the large flash files on my web browser,
after 5 munites or something, the web browser is down.

Probably Existing Aggregates are not useful .. you can edit them based on below factors
You can also check ST03N - > BI Workload - > select Weekly/Monthly - >Choose All data tab - >dbl click on Infocube - > choose query - > check the DB time % > 30% and Aggregation ratio is > 10 % then create aggregates.
Now goto RSRT choose query - > Execute debug mode - > check 'Display Aggr found' and choose 'Display Stats' -> now you can check records selected Vs records transferred in % .. it should be > 10 % .. That means the query is fetching records from Aggrs which will also improve query performance!
Also check RSRT - Execute in Debug and choose display aggregates found.. If it found aggregates then the query is using/fetching data from aggr's

Does anyone know how to manage the hotspot connections? Is there a way to see who is connected, disconnect a particular user, etc.? All I can see is the blue bar announcing the number of of connections.

I should have phrased that better. I have multiple devices connected at the same time, sometimes I want to disconnect one only 1 of them. To do this I need to go to the device and disconnect or turn off the device. Is there a way I can disconnect selected devices on the phone? Not so much a matter of knowing who/what is connected, rather having control of these individual connections from the phone. Is this possible?

There are several ways to implement this using simple timing features of LabVIEW. Two fairly simple methods are comparing system time stamps or using the Wait VI provided in the Timing palette. The time stamp comparison requires a little bit more programming, but can be included in your main program loop. To use the Wait function, you will probably need to construct a new loop parallel to your main loop. I have attached screenshots of these two implementations. like -> color
-> width etc...
From there u can do that .
u can also select the table format as all ready defined formats i.e available in he same screen.
