How to delete data from a DSO using start or end routine

Is it possible to delete records from a DSO in the start or end routine.
My example: I have order 123, item 10, sched line 1. This gets loaded into the DSO.
Next day I have order 123, item 10, sched line 2 coming in.
I want to delete the first one (with sched line 1) from the DSO and load the second one (with sched line 2).
Can code be put in the start or end routine to do this?

unless I can do it within the start routine I don't want to have to create new records.
In the start routine I am comparing records coming in with what are already in the DSO. If there is a match on order and item and the sched line is different, then I want to delete the record from the DSO and load the new one. Is there code that I can put in a start routine to accomplish this?

The above read a file line by line and prints it to console. You should be able to modify this, instead of using System.out to print the line you should use index of to check the lines for a date/String. Index of return -1 if the String you specify is not in the line you parse.

Specify the date format as YYYYMMDD in where condition.
Dates are internally stored in SAP as YYYYMMDD only.
Change your date format in WHERE condition as follows.
data itab like equk occurs 0 with header line.
select * from equk into table itab where werks = 'C001'
and bdatu = <b>'99991231'.</b>
I doubt check your data base table EQUK on this date for the existince of data.
Otherwise, just change the conidition on BDATU like below to see all entries prior to this date.
data itab like equk occurs 0 with header line.
select * from equk into table itab where werks = 'C001'
and <b> bdatu <= '99991231'.</b>

"Transfer structure does not exist" while deleting data from a DSO

Hello experts,
while deleting data from a DSO I get the following messages:
@5B\QInformation@     Database table /BIC/AAKIVO1400 was deleted and recreated
@5C\QError@     Transfer structure does not exist
When I try it twice process works without any problems. I get then the following msgs:
@5B\QInformation@     InfoCube / DataStore object "AKIVO14" contains no data (yet)
@5B\QInformation@     Database table /BIC/AAKIVO1400 was deleted and recreated
So I think the first deletion works but ended with errors. What could be the reason?

Please check if data from new and chage log table is also deleted.
For the error message : Do you have 3.5 flow ? Check your transfer structure , if it is active and then again try to right click and delete data from DSO.

How to delete data from the table PA0007

When I upload data to infotype 0007(planed working time),
there is something wrong with the infotype 2011. So I want
to delete the data of infotype 0007. While using the program RPUREOPN to delete the data, the system will say:0007 cannot be deleted because of time constraint 1/A.
Now how can I delete the data from table PA0007?

There is another question. There are five clients (Client 300,310,320,330,350) in my HR DEV system. I just want to delete the data of infotype 0007 in client 350. When I change the the time constraint and delete the data in client 350, the data of infotype 0007 in other clients will be safe or not?

I have dynamic internal table and I have some slection screen fields , using these selection screen fields
(select -options), I have to filter the data? assigning will work with READ , but I have select options not the parametre,
and also delete will not work for dynamic table..
as we cannot use assigning with delete..
So how to do this?
and one more thing is , I cannot filter the data while selection( in select, I cannot filter the data-> as it's not coming directly from table, it's coming from buffer),
so now after selection of data, I need to filter the data from dynamic table.
Is there any way to do this?

I dont think so you can achieve that, PSA is actually datasource dependent.
One you load from a datasource to PSA.That is accesible by multiple DTPs if you have created so.
As you said "I don't want to delete data that belongs to other business units that use the same datasource."
If you delete the PSA, you may have to repull the data from source system again and if thats delta it wont work out.
As said by above ppl you can include the "Delete PSA" in process chain but choose some 15 days buffer.

What do you mean by deleting it from datafile ?, Is it flat file or something else you want to ask? I believe you have records in flat files and you want to delete them as soon as you load them into oracle table.Oracle dosent offer such facility, however you can syncronise your tables and flat file contents by using merge statements and update it in a fashion, so that only records which reflects in flat files syncronises with table in oracle database .

Kind of Tables, I don't Know but I can Tell you that these are Two table, first Table Have Data in It, Name, ImageUrl I have filled this table with names and ImageUrls And are string type.Other Table is for the CheckInTime And CheckOutTime of the employee.
What I need that when I click on the Image button it Should displays The Current Datetime into the label below the Image button.
So I have Problem accessing my CheckInCheckOut Table because I may not have Idea about.Did you understand what I need to do, if you have more question please ask to me.

How to delete data from MDS

I have updated the composite for ReqABCS in MDS by running the ANT command. Now there is a ApplicationConnectorServiceLibrary folder created outside AIAComponent as I gave the wrong path in UpdateMetadataDP.xml file.
Now I want to delete this folder ApplicationConnectorServiceLibrary from MDS and run again ANT command so that this folder should be in AIAComponent folder.
Kindly suggest me how can I delete it from MDS.

How to retreive data from alv when using CL_GUI_ALV_GRID

I am using two subscreens to display 2 ALV grids in a screen using the OOPs concept and the class CL_GUI_ALV_GRID. I would like to download data from these two alv grids into an excel after any changes, i.e sort, filter or summation. I was able to capture data for sort and filter. The logic to capture summation and subtotals is becoming very complex. I need to simplify for better. I need help to see if there is any method which captures the changed data on the screen so that i can just call the method and retrieve the data to push into an internal table before downlaoding to excel.

Also you can search BCALV_EDIT_* in your system.
