How to deliver modules based on Job Position?

I have a couple of courses in my organization that are currently required to be completed by everyone.  However, the range of material goes from a basic overview of system and processes to detailed information about each and what level of information is really needed is based on your level within the organization.  I would like to be able to have the learner identify their position and then deliver only the modules that are applicable to them.  Does anyone know a relatively easy way to do this?  Something like the "pre-test" in multi-SCORM packaging?

You could do this several different ways.
The best way is to control which modules the learner receives by having the LMS control which content they can access based on which user group they are assigned to.  This way the learner has no control over the content and cannot see something they should not just by selecting a role other than their own.
If you are trying to control which slides a learner sees within a singe Captivate project file then you need to be using custom user variables and conditional actions triggered by the ON Slide Enter event of slides that will either be viewed or skipped according to the learner's chosen role.
When it comes to the quiz, these same user variables can be used to control which quiz questions the learner sees and then have Branch Aware switched on so that their score is based only on the questions they visit. But you have to achieve the branching without having the learner reach a given question slide otherwise it will be counted as part of their quiz because they went to that slide.
