How to detect when a page is in view with jQuery or javaScript?

Is there a way a detect when a page is in view? Currently it seems that my document ready function is being called when the page is the next or previous page as well as the current page. Seems that this gets called twice... is there a reliable way to detect this?

I ran into this alot. first thing is that when you are looking at a particular page, DPS is caching the pages around it, all around it, so it caches the top, right, bottom and left pages, which will launch things and play videos and what not.
Here's the workaround for getting it to only launch when in view. set the autoplay time (I assume this is for a "webcontent overlay") to .125 seconds. it will start the clock only when the page (tile) is in view.
don't know if theres an easier way, but that's how I do it and it works.

How to detect when 2 movie clips have been clicked?

Hello:
I'd like to know how can I detect when 2 movie clips have been clicked (irregardles of the order).
What I have is this:
In my main timeline I have 2 independent movie clips (mc_him and mc_her) each in it's own layer that, when clicked, play an internal animation without moving my main playhead anywhere. What I need to do is, once they are both clicked (as I said, it doesen't matter in what order), a button that sends me to another section of my movie has to appear. It really doesen't matter if the button shows by enabling it with alpha or by sending me to a specific frame where my button lies. What I need to detect is both clicks so that the button shows up.
How can I achieve this?

the field PAnnnn-AEDTM, nnnn is the infotype number, will give you the date when the record was last changed.
Not sure if you can precisely get the date when the infotype was created. I dont feel the need to read cluster form the same.

There are a couple ways.
(1) If you are loading the page synchronously:
(a la AbstractDocument.getAsynchronousLoadPriority() < 0), then it is done loading when setPage(URL) returns.
(2) If you are loading the page asynchronously:
Get the editor kit and wrap the kit using the Decorator Design pattern. Then set the editor kit to be the decorated one.
Make the decorated kit fire an event whenever the read() method completes. Then listen for that event, since that is when the page is loaded.

How to detect when a tile fails to load

We currently use SSRS to generate maps w/ custom layers and data. The requests made by SSRS to the Bing Map system occasionally fail when creating PDF versions of the reports under heavy load. I am looking for a way to work around SSRS's limitation
when using Bing Maps.
One approach I am exploring is to create a system that generates my own map images using the Bing Maps Api directly rather than being dependent upon SSRS. However, i can imaging that at some point a request to Bing Maps will result in a failure. Either
the system was unavailable or the request for the map tile timed out.
I would like to be able to detect when a tile failed to be received.

How do you populate a page item in apex with a value read from excel

I am working on application where I am uploading a csv file in oracle apex. I then need to access a value in Cell B2 of the csv file and populate a page item called
:P2100_AUTHORISATION_ID with this value. Many of the examples I have found upload the data using v_data-array into a table but I don't need to do that I just need to get the value from the csv file and then display additional information about the file allowing the user to either or continue or cancel the request to upload. I am running into a small problem that I can't explain and wondered if anyone had any ideas.
Here is the code I am using to try and populate and item called :P2100_AUTHORISATION_ID but when I poulate the item the value is always 0. But if I replace the line :P2100_AUTHORISATION_ID:= v_data_array(2) with a raise_application_error(-20001,v_data_array(2)); The correct value is displayed in the eror. Any Help would be appreciate and I apologise in advance if this akes no sense at all:-)

Continuing on from my last question, there was something else I want to ask if you dont mind.
Now that I have the v_data_array(2) value in a page item I would like to use as an input value to a procedure to return some information I need displayed on the page. To do this I need to convert it to a number but when I try to so this I get the following error
ORA-06502: PL/SQL: numeric or value error: character to number conversion error
When I use the wwv_flow.debug that you told me about it is outputting a value '4851 ' so it look like there may be some sort of asii character causing a problem. I have tried using trim(v_data_array(2)) and ascii(v_data_array(2)) but nothing seems to work.
Would you know how to convert a v_data_array value to a number? At the moment I am attemting to do it withiin the same code I attached in my earlier post but I have replaced the assignment of :P2100_AUTHORISATION_ID with the code below where P_BL_WD_DATA_ENTRY.getauthid is the procedure returning the values I need.

There is a program that comes with the printer called the IJ Scan Utility that can assist you with scanning multiple pages into a single file. To scan using the IJ Scan Utility, please follow these steps:
1. Start IJ Scan Utility by going to your Start menu, then selecting All Programs, then Canon Utilities, then IJ Scan Utility (folder), then IJ Scan Utility (program).
2. In the Canon IJ Scan Utility window that opens, click SETTINGS.... in the bottom right of the window. The Settings dialog box appears.
3. Click the DOCUMENT SCAN option on the left pane of the window.
4. In the right pane of the window, locate the SELECT SOURCE field and select the DOCUMENT option.
5. Set the color mode, document size, and scanning resolution as required in the rest of the fields shown in the window. Click DOCUMENT SCAN ORIENTATION SETTINGS... to specify the orientation of the documents to be scanned.
6. In the SAVE SETTINGS section of the window, you will select the save format and location of the document you are about to scan.
a.) In the FILE NAME field, specify the name you would like to give the file. By default the filename will begin with IMG; you can remove IMG and change it to whatever you would like to name the file.
b.) In the DATA FORMAT field, use the drop-down arrow to select the PDF (Multiple Pages) option.
c.) In the SAVE IN field, please navigate to the area where you would like the file to be saved once it is scanned in. By default, the file will be saved in the DOCUMENTS folder.
7. Once all settings have been selected, click the OK button at the bottom of the SETTINGS (DOCUMENT SCAN) window. The IJ Scan Utility main screen appears.
8. Click the DOCUMENT button. Scanning starts. After a page has scanned, the screen to continue or end scanning appears. If you have more pages to scan, place the next page on the platen and click Scan. Do this each time a page has completed scanning. After the last page has been scanned, click Exit. Scanned images are saved in previously selected folder location specified in the SETTINGS... window. Click the CANCEL button to cancel scanning if needed during scanning.

Cannot view body of page in Design View with PHP

Hello, I hope some one can help me. I have a website that I
am working that I am unable to view the body of the page in Design
mode. This is a php file. I can preview the page fine by pressing
F12, so it appears PHP is installed and my test server is working
fine. Also my manager is able to view the body fine, so it appears
that only I am affected. Both of us are using Dreamweaver CS3. Is
there some setting on my local copy of Dreamweaver that I can
change to make the page appear?

How to detect when service is down?

During the LCCS service outage this morning, when my app was launched it seemed to just hang on the service login (saw same behavior when I logged into my developer portal account).
I am currently checking for exception generation around the session login call and have a callback registered for the error event. Is there something else that I should have in place which would have been able to catch this so that I can display something meaningful to my users?

OK - another request related to the status of the LCCS service. I have been using health.acrobat.com and watching the corresponding rss feed in Google Reader to keep track of scheduled maintenance events and service outages.
I am trying to track down an older log entry where a call to keepalive on the Ruby AccountManager object generated a 403 which was logged on our side yesterday, Thursday 2/18 around 4:40pm PST. I am trying to figure out what could have caused the problem, but didn't see anything from the rss feed indicating that there were any recorded problems yesterday.
(1) Is there another resource that I can be checking to help in troubleshooting these sort of errors when we are unable to make connections to the service?
