How to determine the value of a Standard Value in a routing operation

Dear Experts,
Kindly guide me on how to detemine the value of my Standard Value in the  operation of my routing, or in the phase of my Master Recipe.
I mean what determines the value that I enter for the Standard Values: Machine  and Labor in the phase of my Master Recipe?

Hi,
In the Routing / Master Recipe, the standard values are based on the lot size.
For Example, if you have the lot of 100 KG, then in recipe the machine time will be 2 hr and labor time will be 2 hours, it means to make 100 KG we require 2 hrs of machine and 2 hrs of labor.
Normaaly all production manager / supervisor will have the date for the hours. The system will calculate will respect to batch / lot size.
If you have order for 1000 KG, then the system will assign 20 hrs for Machine and 20 hrs for labor.
This will be used for Capacity planning and Costing.
Capacity plan here your requirement is 20 hrs for machine and labor. If you have a reacto which wil run for 24 hrs a day, then the order will be completed in a day.
Costing is concerned, all std. valur key will be assigned with an activity type in work center / Resources and the prices for activity type / cost center will be maintained in KP26.
Based on the cost and hours, the system will allocate cost for the order (it will be planned cost). When you are confirming the order you will enter the actual time for the operation, then that will be your actual cost.
Pl do a sample test scenario in your sand box, and surely you will understand more.
The data for Routing / Recipe will be provided by the production manager of the plant and activity price will be provided by the finance team.
Thanks,
JK

  • How to determine the value of  -D__SUNPRO_CC?

    Could any body tell me how to determine the value of -D__SUNPRO_CC? Iam now using Sun Studio 9.
    Thanks in advance.

    The C++ Users Guide describes all the predefined macros set by the compiler.
    The __SUNPRO_CC macro is a 3-digit hex number. The first digit is the C++ compiler major version number, which is 5 for all releases from WorkShop 5 in 1998 through the current release, Sun Studio 10. The second digit is the minor version number, increasing by 1 for each release in the major release series. The 3rd digit is a place holder for the very rare (none since 1994) cases when we have a micro version number. It is zero in current releases.
    The current compiler release is C++ 5.7, so __SUNPRO_CC is set to 0x570.
    You can see the macro setting by running
    CC -dryrun -c foo.cc
    and look for the -D__SUNPRO_CC =0xNNN on the ccfe command line.

  • How to determine the values for Model Parameters in Forecasting

    Hello Gurus,
          On basis we will determine the values  for the Model Parameter values (Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Sigma).
    Thanks,
    Siva.

    Dear Siva,
    the values are dependent from the forecast stratey and forecast model.
    The forecast strategy determines the method or the techniques that are used to create the forecast. You set the forecast strategy in the forecast profile.
    There are some settings that you must make for certain forecast strategies. The table below shows you which settings these are. You make these settings either in the univariate forecast profile or under the Model and Parameters tabs of the Forecast view on the demand planning desktop.
    Model initialization is the process by which the system determines the necessary model parameters for the chosen forecast model. These parameters are in following link:

    I hope this helps you further.

              Hi Jenny,
              The WebLogic Server allows you to configure the number of active beans (with an
              identity) which are present in the EJB cache.
              This cache is the in-memory space where beans exist.
              When a bean is brought into the cache, ejbActivate() is called, when it is removed,
              ejbPassivate() is called. It is basically
              equivalent to virtual memory being kept in memory or on disk. Tuning it too high
              will use up memory unnecessarily.
              Activation and passivation of EJBs is analogous to virtual memory on a computer.
              You want to minimize the number of times that
              your beans are activated and passivated. The cache size can help minimize this
              activity. To set determine if you cache size
              should be bigger, take a number of execution snapshots. Look at these snapshots
              of your execution and see if there is a lot of
              passivation and activation going on. If so, increase the size of your cache and
              see if performance improves. Otherwise, leave this
              value alone.
              regards,
              Ashok.

  • How to determine the mount point for directory /tmp ?

    Folks,
    Hello. I am installing Oracle 11gR2 RAC using 2 Virtual Machines (rac1 and rac2 whose OS are Oracle Linux 5.6) in VMPlayer and according to the tutorial
    http://appsdbaworkshop.blogspot.com/2011/10/11gr2-rac-on-linux-56-using-vmware.html
    I am installing Grid infrastructure. I am on step 7 of 10 (verify Grid installation enviroment) and get this error:
    "Free Space: Rac2: /tmp"
    Cause: Could not determine mount point for location specified.
    Action: Ensure location specified is available.
    Expected value: n/a
    Actual value: n/a
    I have checked the free space using the command:
    [root@Rac2 /]# df -k /tmp
    Output:
    Filesystem     1k-blocks     used     Available     Use%     Mounted on
    /dev/sda1     30470144     7826952     21070432     28%     /
    As you see above, the free space is enough, but could not determine mount point for /tmp.
    Do any folk understand how to determine the mount point for directory /tmp ?
    Thanks.

    I have just checked "/home/oracle/.bash_profile". But in my computer, there is no "oracle" under /home directory.Is this your first time Linux and Oracle installation? I had a brief look at your referenced link. The reason why you do not find a "oracle" user is because the instructions use "ora11g" instead, which, btw, is not standard. The directories of your installation and your installation source can be somewhat different from known standards and you will have to adjust it to your system.
    My best guess is that you have either missed something in the instructions or you need to ask the author of the blog what is wrong. The chance to find someone here who has experience with these custom instructions is probably unlikely.
    I suggest you try to locate the cluster verification tool, which should be in the bin directory of your grid installation. Alternatively you might want to check the RAC, ASM & Clusterware Installation forum: RAC, ASM & Clusterware Installation

  • How to find the value of date char used as exception aggregation reference

    Hi BI Gurus,
    On a BEx report I need to list three things by material:
    1)   the open (not yet delivered) Purchase Order quantities
    2)   the PO quantity to be delivered next and
    3)   the date that belongs to the next delivery
    The model supports these data i.e. for each material I can list all open quantities by Purchase Order / Item / Schedule line and the scheduled delivery dates are also available as a characteristic.
    Determining 1) is easy – as the drilldown is fixed (materials only) the open quantities get summarized for all PO-s belonging to the materials.
    To determine 2) I used a Calculated KF simply including KF 1) “=Open PO Qty” in the definition and setting Exception Aggregation (first value) with a reference char of the delivery date. This gives back the Open PO Quantity to be delivered first.
    My question is about how to determine the 3rd value (actually this is not a KPI but a characteristic value). In other words, for each materials I would need to determine the first among all of the possible delivery date char values of the open PO Items / schedule lines. This is the date the quantity shown in the 2nd KPI will be delivered on.
    Does anybody have an idea how to approach this issue?
    Thanks for you help in advance,
    Attila

    Hi Olivier,
    Thanks for your suggestion. I got a bit closer with the replacement path formula variable and the CKF. I tried to apply the same logic of KPI 2) but for some reason it did not work. Actually, it delivers the right value but only when 0SCL_DELDAT (Scheduled delivery date) is in the drilldown… But what I need is the first delivery date by Material only, and without this 0SCL_DELDAT drilldown.
    Any other ideas?
    Thanks and bye,
    Attila

  • How to determine the ROWNUM in a Master Detail Form

    Hello,
    I am working in a Master Detail Form with Orders and Order Items Information; and I created a process that allows the users to select a Product ID on a tabular form, and the next column is populated automatically with the Product Description.
    To achieve that, I followed some instructions by Denes Kubicek (http://apex.oracle.com/pls/otn/f?p=31517:241), but my case is slightly different:
    <ul>I am using a wizard-created tabular form, instead of a manual tabular form; and </ul>
    <ul>Instead of using another page as a Popup to pass the parameter of the ROWNUM, I am using a plug-in called “Tabular Form Super LOV” which is a modified version of the SkillBuilders’ Super LOV that works on Tabular Forms. </ul>
    The Product ID is returned in the correct row by the plug-in; but in the case of the Product Description, it is always returned into the first row; and my problem is that I don't know how to determine the row where the user clicked to call the plug-in.
    I set up an example in apex.oracle.com in case someone would like to look at it:
    Workspace: ediazjorge
    Username: test
    Password: test
    App Name: Sample App
    App Number: 1550
    BTW, I am using Apex 4.1.1.00.23 and Oracle DB 10.3.2.
    Thanks in advance,
    Erick

    Hello VC,
    Thank you for your time and help.
    Unfortunately, it is still not working properly:
    1. When the Popup LOV opens, the first row of the tabular form is 0, the second row is 1, and so on. How can I assign the values starting with 1 and in the format *0001* ? (I am still a novice on Apex and new to JavaScript :-), sorry about that).
    --2. Also, when I close the Popup LOV, the value of P1_ROWNUM is ‘undefined’ again so I'm not sure if the Product Name column will be populated.--
    3. And finally, you are using the jQuery Selector uPopupLOVIcon, which is an attribute of the Cloudy Theme. In my real application (Apex 4.1.1.00.26), my element looks like: *<img src="/i/lov_16x16.gif" width="16" height="16" alt="Popup Lov" alt="List" style="vertical-align:middle;" align="middle" />*. What do you recommend me to use as a jQuery Selector?
    Again, I really appreciate your help and time. I think you solved the most difficult part.
    Thank you so much,
    Erick
    Update: I just found out that the problem with my comment 2 is because I didn’t delete the previous dynamic action that set the value to P1_ROWNUM.

  • How to determine the size of the JVM process?

    Hi,
    How to determine the total process size of the JVM process (that includes Heap, Non Heap and Native memory)?
    Is there any command to obtain this value on Solaris (for Sun JVM)?
    I refer the process size to http://middlewaremagic.com/weblogic/wp-content/uploads/2010/11/Java_Heap_Diagram_12.jpg) here.
    Many thanks for your help in advance!

    Hi,
    Make sure that Total Heap + Native memory will be consider as total Memory.
    That means in 32 bit you will have only at most 4 GB for process + additional 2 GB for OS.
    So let assume if you have 4GM RAM then out of the 4GB you can allocate 2GB as Heap and 512m as Perm in case of Hot spot and remaining will be consider as Native memory.
    But in case of 64 bit will change you will have good amount of the memory so you can use plenty of Heap and Perm size.
    Still if you have query let me know.

  • How to determine the second decimal of currency is equal to 0.

    Hi guys,
    My problem is how to determine the second decimal of currency is equal to 0.
    i.e: 130.23 the second decimal is 3.
    Thx in advance.
    Points will be rewarded.

    Hi Vincent,
    if you want to check the internal currency value, you can not know from the field contents what is the second decimal. Because ABAP currency fields (CURR) are connected to currency key CUKY. For USD or EUR you have two decimals, japanese yen have no decimals where as some arabian pound have three decimals. The default are 2 decimals; all excetions can be found in table TCURX.
    If you WRITE the value it is converted correctly according to the connected currency.
    Just multiply the value with 10 to the power of decimals, e.g. USD value * ( 10 ** 2 ). Then do a MOD: second_decimal_of_currency = ( value * ( 10 ** decimals ) mod 10.
    If result is zero, then the second decimal of currency is equal to 0.

  • How can determine the duration of an audio file

    Hi,
    i'm making speech recognition project using java. i can capture sound by michrophone and playback it. the type of the sound is .wav.
    my question is how to determine the recording duration (for example: determine the duration for 0.25 second) because i must recorded syllable,the assumtion is needed less than 0.5 second to say a word. and then.. can this wav file be changed into... binary or integer ?
    thanks for your help

    FYI I'm newbie in Java,
    Yes, I want to limit the audio file lengths to a certain value. What should I do?
    I have read wav file using an AudioInputStream, for audio format I'm using sampleRate = 8000.0F and sampleSizeInBits = 8. My friend said if I used 8 bit for sampleSizeInBit (resolution in amplitude) the binary file should be -128 till 127 in range according to the bit. I try this code and the result is binary file which is zero, positive, and negative.
    the code
    try{
    audioInputStream.read(audioBytes);
    for (int i=0; i<audioBytes.length;i++){
    System.out.println(audioBytes);
    catch(IOException ioe){
    System.out.println("Error"+ioe);
    I'm not sure that the code is right, but it works. Should I change the audioBytes into integer before? I try this code but it doesn't work.
    int a = new int[audioBytes.length];
    for (int i=0;i<audioBytes.length;i++){
    a[i] = new Byte(audioBytes[i]).intValue();
    this binary file has been printed in console (I’m using texpad). So, how I can write that to file.txt? I'm using FileoutputStream but it doesn't work correctly. Here is the code
    FileOutputStream fos = new FileOutputStream(strFilePath);
    {audioInputStream.read(audioBytes);
    fos.write(audioBytes);
    catch (IOException ioe){
    System.out.println("Error"+ioe);
    When I open file .txt is read as character like this üüüüüüüüüüüüûüüüûüûûû ||||||| ||||||| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||| &#1746;&#1746;&#1746;&#1746;&#1746;&#1746;&#1746;&#1746;&#1746;&#1746;&#1746;&#1746; (like using alt plus number)

  • EEWB :  how to determine the business object and the extension type ?

    Hi,
    I ask myself how to determine the business object and the extension type to use to add new fields in a new tab of a specific transaction ? what means each business object, does that correspond to a specific transaction ?
    I need to add a new tab in the ‘BaMI’ business activity in transaction CRMD_ORDER just after the tab 'Actions' at header level.
    Could you help me please to determine which business object and extension type I have to select during creation of the project and which business object category I have to select during creation of the extension (wizard) ?
    Thanks for your help,
    Marie

    Marie,
    In order to determine what type of transaction you are extending, you will need to look at the customizing for the transaction.
    In the IMG:
    Goto:
    Customer Relationship Management->Transactions->Basic Settings->Define Transaction Types.
    You will then choose the transaction defined that you want to extend.  If you display the details of the transaction you will find an attribute called:
    "Leading Transaction Category".  This tells you the general context in which the transaction is used.  The other item to view is the assignment of business transaction categories found in the maintenance screen.
    This information general corresponds to one of the options that the EEWB will give you on the transaction type.
    As far as extensions go, my recommendation is the following:
    - Use CUSTOMER_H Customer Header Extensions for any new fields at the header level.
    - Use CUSTOMER_I Customer Item Extensions for any new fields at the item level.
    Unless you have a specific requirement to extend a segment of the transaction, I recommend placing all new fields in these segments.  The CUSTOMER_H & CUSTOMER_I segments are considered "standard" segments, that are already built into all the necessary API structures.
    Let me know if you have any further questions.
    Good luck,
    Stephen

  • Tablespace allocation type system  how oracle determines the extent size

    HI
    It may be silly question but the I have to ask and get some knowdge
    Suppose tablespace allocation_type is system then how oracle determins the inital extent and max extent size?

    Was this tablespace converted to locally managed from an existing tablespace? If so, the existing extents still exist after the conversion. Also depending on the Oracle version and maybe platform the pct_increase parameter is still honored after the conversion which can lead to odd sizes. The current value of this parameter may not be the value that was in effect when extents were allocated.
    Also Oracle enhanced the logic to not leave odd sized extents unused so that if by rights the system should take a 64K extent but there is a 56K extent available (perhaps at the end of a file) it can be used to fill the extent request.

  • How to get the values from popup window to mainwindow

    HI all,
       I want to get the details from popup window.
          i have three input fields and one search button in my main window. when i click search button it should display popup window.whenever i click on selected row of the popup window table ,values should be visible in my main window input fields.(normal tables)
       now i am able to display popup window with values.How to get the values from popup window now.
       I can anybody explain me clearly.
    Thanks&Regards
    kranthi

    Hi Kranthi,
    Every webdynpro component has a global controller called the component controller which is visible to all other controllers within the component.So whenever you want to share some data in between 2 different views you can just make it a point to use the component controller's context for the same. For your requirement (within your popups view context) you will have have to copy the component controllers context to your view. You then will have to (programmatically) fill this context with your desired data in this popup view. You can then be able to read this context from whichever view you want. I hope that this would have made it clear for you. Am also giving you an [example|http://****************/Tutorials/WebDynproABAP/Modalbox/page1.htm] which you can go through which would give you a perfect understanding of all this. In this example the user has an input field in the main view. The user enters a customer number & presses on a pushbutton. The corresponding sales orders are then displayed in a popup window for the user. The user can then select any sales order & press on a button in the popup. These values would then get copied to the table in the main view.
