How to determine which queries are in which workbooks?

HI Folks.
I am attempting to determine if there is a method by which I can determine which queries are utilized in which workbooks in SAP BW system.
I found table RSRWBINDEXT which gives me the workbookid and name.  However I am not able to locate the table that gives me workbook id and query id.
Please let me know if you this table?
Thanks
Uday

Hi,
In BEx... copy workbook technical name.
After wards goto RSA1 metadata repository click-workbook---find your workbook.
If you click that workbook It gives receives information from all Queries list
Thanks,

    Hi,
Please check the table RSRWORKBOOK. Enter the name of the work book, it will give you the GENUID of the query. Pass these values to table RSRREPDIR. You will get the names of the queries.

  • How to find out which queries are being used ?

We have a number of InfoSet Queries which the users are calling from SQ00. Some of them are very old.
I would like to find out which queries are being used, so we can have the idle queries decommissioned.
How can this be done ?
    Best regards,
    Peter

    Hi,
It's been a while since I've done this but one method is to use ST03N & look for the execution of programs with an AQ* prefix.  The general structure is AQZZ/<query user group><query name>.
You could probably get the same info from the audit log but I've not checked that.

  • Info on which users are running which workbooks & when

    Hi
Is there any way that I can monitor which users are using which workbooks and when they are running their queries. Are these stats logged anywhere?
    Cheers

Yes. All you need to import the EUL4.EEX file and open the query Query Statistics workbook. It is described in the Admin Guide.

I have got a lot of apps, which are not installed on any of my iDevices anymore. is there a possibility to remove all those apps from iTunes without searching which ones are, and which ones aren't installed on one of my iDevices?

Assuming all the device(s) have been synced to this computer as its Home computer. The easiest way would be to delete all the apps from iTunes. After which connect your device(s) to the computer (iTunes) and transfer purchases from the device(s) by right click (control click) the device name in the left sidebar and the click transfer purchases. When done only the apps on your device(s) will be in you iTunes library.
    Hope that helps

  • How to insert  two queries in the same workbook in new BI 7.0 Bex web analy

    Hi
Can you please advise how to insert multiple queries in the same workbook in BI 7.0 web analyser.
    Sarah

    Hi,
You need to switch to design mode (BEx Analyser Menu - Design Toolbar - Design Mode). For each query that you want to embed, insert an analysis grid item in the workbook. Link each analysis grid to its corresponding data provider (query).
    Hope this helps.

  • How to find which queries is using which indexes

So, I have a db 11gr2 and many indexes. Since I would like to delete some of them, I could see which indexes are unused, but I would like to see if some of indexes are used ony by one or two queries...
    how could I found that?

If you have license for AWR views, use the below sql to identify indexes used.
This script has following bind variable
    a1: owner
a and b: begin and end of snapshot
a2: tablespace name where your index exists
As suggested in this thread, do not plan to drop Foriegn key indexes if they are not listed.
    col object_name for a30
    col tablespace_anme fora 12
    col count for 9999
    col operation for a35
    col options for a25
    set lines 160
    select c.*, d.tablespace_name
    from (select
    a.object_name ,
    a.operation ,
    a.options ,
    count(1)
    from
    dba_hist_sql_plan a,
    dba_hist_sqlstat b
    where
    a.object_owner ='&a1'
    and
    a.operation like '%INDEX%'
    and
    a.sql_id = b.sql_id
    and b.snap_id between &a and &b
    group by
    a.object_name,
    a.operation,
    a.options
    order by
    4 desc) c,
    dba_segments d
    where c.object_name=d.segment_name
    and d.tablespace_name='&a2'

  • How to determine if reports are being run/used

I have two Crystal report environments.  One being version 7.5 and the other is version 10.  Between them, there is a very large number of reports (1000's) that accumulated over the years. I am looking for a way to be able to tell which reports are being run and actually used. By used I mean actually being pulled from the repository.   I do not know all the specific details of the environments and not a CR expert so it is hard for me to provide too much more details.  Any help or suggestions on how to try to determine which reports are being used is greatly appreciated.

    You mention; "Crystal report environments"
    and
    "pulled from the repository"
Question is; what is the Crystal report environment in your definition? E.g.; what is the actual product? It could be what used to be called Crystal Info (v 7), Crystal Enterprise (v. 10). Or it could be an app written by someone in your organization. Or it could be an app written by a 3rd party.
In any case, getting answers for these products will be difficult as you're looking at products that are close to 10 years out of support (v. 10) and well over 10 years out of support (v. 7).

  • How to Insert two queries in a single workbook in BI 7 ?

    Hi,
I am trying to insert two queries in a single workbook. The queries are of Accounts Receivable.I have inserted one query in a workbook , but am not able to proceed to inserting the second query. In BEx analyzer, in design mode , using analysis grid , i tried inserting the second query but when saving and running, i am getting message " Variables are present, change their values " . should i maintain same variables for two queries ? i am stuck up. please explain me as how can this be done.
    Roja.

    Hi,
If you get the message "Variables are present, change their values" ,it means that the query which you inserted having variables.
You just click the "Change Variables" icon in the Analysis Toolbox, which will invoke the variable screen.
Set the values in the variable screen and click OK.
Now you will be able to see the data in the grids based on the values selected in the variable screen.
Both queries data will be displayed in the workbook.
Let me know in case of any clarifications!

  • Tring to find out which fields are used in workbooks

I just tried importing the eul5.eex into a production db. The import seemed to work fine except for a message saying the EUL5 user is not available.
When I try to go in and run the workbooks that were also imported I am having a lot of issues. The EUL Access workbook gives me an invalid function error and will not open. The other workbooks are similar. Any help ?

    Hi,
I found this excellent post by Nilesh Jethwa on "How to find item, folder or Business Area in Discoverer".
    http://www.appsbi.com/2007/02/01/how-to-find-item-folder-or-business-area-in-discoverer/
"First find out which EUL you want to query against. There are multiple EUL owners so we need to determine which one. The following query shows us all the available EUL owners
    select owner from all_tables where table_name = ‘EUL5_OBJS’;
Replace the “eul5_us” with the appropriate owner value in your case. Now lets say we need to find out where “Invoice Date” is located then we would modify the query as shown below and execute it
    select i.exp_name item_name,f.obj_name folder_name,b.ba_name
    from euladm.EUL5_expressions i, euladm.EUL5_objs f, euladm.EUL5_ba_obj_links l, euladm.EUL5_bas b
    where f.obj_id= i.it_obj_id
    and f.obj_id= l.bol_obj_id
    and b.ba_id= l.bol_ba_id
    and upper(i.exp_name) like upper('%')
    and upper(b.ba_name) like upper('%')
    and upper(f.obj_name) like upper('%')
    order by b.ba_name,f.obj_name,i.exp_name

  • How to determine the sales area data

    Hi,
If I know the sales organisation to which a user is assigned to how to find out the Sales office ,sales group, distribution channel and division associated with the sales org to which the user is assigned to ?

    hi gincy
yeah there is a FM to get the info of the sales area data of user
you just see a rule for the org model named
    orgman 12
it actually drives the sales org info of the user assigned to the org unit
i guess the FM name is
    CRMD_ORGNMAN_OBJECTS_7
but you can confirm it by goin inside the rule ORGMAN12
    just use t code pfac
and there in go inside the rule for org model
and there in ORGMAN12 u can see the name of the FM

  • Report showing which updates are in which Distribution Point folders

SCCM 2007 SP2 R3.  We're working on Software Updates distribution issues, and are trying to find a way to tell in which Distribution Point folder and subfolder names a certain patch is (or get a list of all patches under a certain distribution folder).
As an example, on the DP in the SMSPKGG$ folder , I have a folder named RD100492, in that I have a folder named fec8fc58-7ccd-48fe-a16f-ec5eddafef8f, and in that I have the patch named ie8-windowsxp-kb2964358-x86-custom-enu.exe.  I'd like to be
able to run a report to find where that patch is in the folder structure and also to be able to list everything under a certain folder.
I've searched through the Views and Tables, but, can't seem to find the right columns.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks.

We keep having issues with some SU packages getting corrupt and either one or more patches hang, and dont' let the others install, or they seem to go missing (in once case we had a Patch List with 422 patches in it, and only 11 physically distributed and
created folders).  MS Premier Support gave us a script to run that clears out the hung patches in WMI on affected computers for the former issue, but, for the latter issues, we have to run a manual comparison of folders find the ones with missing folders,
and recreate the Patch List.  PITA trying to find things, why we are trying to create a report.
    NOT just idle curiosity...<G>
I am presuming this info might only be in a Table, but, searching for column names hasn't found it, yet...
    Thanks, Garth!

  • How to determine APNS settings are ON or OFF

    Hi,
How can i determine from my App whether the Push notification for my app (alerts, sounds and Badges) are switched ON or OFF.
If it is OFF, I would like to warn the user and take him to the APNS Settings page from my app. How can I do that.
Could you guys provide some programming pointers to do that.
    Thanks

Apart from going to each computer that you think might be authorised and trying to de-authorise them you can't. And you can do a 'de-authorise all' once every 12 months, so you might as well do that and then re-authorise the ones that you still need (you can always individually de-authorise them again during the next 12 months).

  • Which functions are in which DLLs?

I am adding support for a PCI-6013 to a C application. Because not all of our customers will be using the 6013, it is necessary to load the DLLs dynamically. Where can I obtain a list of functions and their related DLLs? Currently NIDAQErrorHandler() is the only function I'm using that isn't in nidaq32.dll, but I will probably be adding more functionality later. Thanks!

All NI-DAQ functions have their entry point in nidaq32.dll. Loading it will load the dependant dlls so, really, loading nidaq32.dll is all you need to worry about. Except for NIDAQErrorHandler(), like you said. The reason is because it isn't actually part of the NI-DAQ API. It and a couple other functions that start with "NIDAQ..." are just utility functions to help demonstrate the shipping examples. I believe that function needs nidex32.dll.
