How to disable one check box when another is checked

Hi, I'm a first time user.
i am trying to make text fields appar and dissapaer when check boxes are ticked. but only alow one check box to be active at one time.
I am making a simple form in Acrobat pro 9,
I have two check boxes Checkbox1 & Checkbox2.
I have two text fields Textfield1 & Textfield2
i have added actions to checkbox1 & checkbox2 to 'hide or show' the text fields.
Action --> on focus (checkbox1) show/hide field (textfield1) is hide
Action --> on focus (checkbox1) show/hide field (textfield2) is show
oposite
Action --> on focus (checkbox2) show/hide field (textfield2) is hide
Action --> on focus (checkbox2) show/hide field (textfield1) is show
problem 1 - how to disable checkbox1 when checkbox 2 is ticked.
or disable checkbox2 when checkbox1 is ticked.
my other problem is that this action has the same effect for ticking or unticking the checkbox.

can you please write your answer in simple terms. Basically this is the first time i have used acrobat pro so please dont assume any knowledge at all. thansk very much .

First, I would experiment with just check boxes and learn their properties and how they can interact.
Have you tried using the same name for 2 check boxes and assign a different "export value" to each check box.
Have you looked at the values a check box or boxes have when checked or un-checked?
Have you looked at how the various actions for a field work?

It's not clear what the issue is, you could be more specific by sharing some screenshots and code.
In addition, it will be more clear if you could separate the description into multiple sentences.
Which control did you want to get help about? The checkbox or datagridview?
If it is checkbox, did you want to keep checked or keep it uncheck?
If it is datagridview, whether you are talking about checkbox column?

Do you mean you want the 'value' entries in a hash table to themselves be hash tables? Easy but this often indicates a design flaw.
Hashtable<String,<Hashtable<String,Value>> fred = new Hashtable<String,<Hashtable<String,Value>> ();But what do you mean by "with repeating keys for the first hash table"?

Looks like you have already handled the declaration side in your other thread. I suspect you should be writing your own beans that hold the information and these beans would then be stored in a Map. The problem I have is that your description is too vague so I can't be certain.

Background
When user close the webi report viewer in inforview by click the button in the right-top of the webi report viewer frame. It always prompt a dialog to remind user that the modification will be lost without saving.
But customer need to disable this dialog, and can clost the report viewer directly.
So is there any ways to modify this?
I think it shoule modify some .js file under tomcat, but can not find the solution.

I've had the same issue bugging me since installing Snow, er, lion, er, cat, er, cougar, er, Mountain Lion. Incredibly ANNOYING.
It's stupid stuff like this and reverse scrolling that really turn long-timer users off. I'm personally glad Forstall got fired for blunders such as these.
I'm serious peeved that turning off iCloud Documents & Data actually deletes documents and data locally. That's just incredibly stupid.

Sorry, I was under the impression that you were using the complete Lookout development software (as opposed to just the Lookout Protocol Drivers). You cannot do any development (connections, mapping, etc.) with the Lookout Protocol Drivers (LPD). So, you were right. We have to do this in LabVIEW.
I ain't sure how exactly the Modicon floats work, but assuming what you're saying is correct, in your LabVIEW VI(s) you would read the DataSocket item corresponding to 40yyy+1 first, and then write this value back to the DataSocket item corresponding to 40xxx. Similarly, you would read the DataSocket item corresponding to 40yyy and then write the value read back to the DataSocket item corresponding to 40xxx+1.
A tip: I wou
ld at first make sure I have the OPC communication between LabVIEW and LPD working. Make sure you can read and write to the LPD registers via their DataSocket/OPC equivalents in LabVIEW. You can then implement the mapping as described above.

This might be very simple question for experts. I just want to unselect one check box (this check box is to select 'ALL' and this will be selected by default) when we select any other check box (for individual categories) on same region. Can any one please suggest me how to implement this?

I'm using two items (check boxs), like P1_ALL and P1_TEST. I want to unselect P1_ALL when we select P1_TEST check box.Both the check boxes contains single value in List of values. For this I wrote script like

When saving a fill-in form that contains check boxes, the filled in check boxes do not show up on the new PDF. How do I fix this?

Basically, I have a form that comes over from a vendors that is Pre filled. I may have to manually answer some of the check boxes. Either way, when I go to save the form to put in our system, the checkboxes on the newly save PDF are now blank. How do I stop this from happening

I am working on my thesis with several Pages documents (for the first time). And I really have searched all over the Internet to find an answer to exactly my question but I cannot find it.
First my question was: How can I import one Pages document into another one? I found the answer on that (I think) and there is nothing else than just make a new section and copy/paste it in.
But then another issue pops up: I cannot [cmd]+A my whole document including the texboxes to paste it in the other Pages document. Then the document will be paste without the textboxes (and I have quite a lot of them in that document) and the text will not be at the right place.
So please explain to me: How I can combine two Pages documents and keep them exactly the way they are? Is that even possible?

I have already tried to mark the textboxes in line but that did not work, and besides then the text and the boxes won't be at the rigt places either. Thank you for your reply .

In a tubular form: how do you make one combo box reflect another

For example:
if there are two fields, one with combo box with bread, meat, juice and I select juice, I and the contents of another combo box in another field to say Orange, grape, lemon.
field one field two
bread orange
meat grape
juice lemon
in field one there is just those 3 but in the table representing two there are many such as types of bread and meat and juice, all three.

Your description is not very clear but looks like you want cascading select lists, where 2nd select list is populated based on value selected in the first select list.
AJAX is a good solution if you are comfortable with it. Since I'm not very familiar with that, I end up using pl/sql.

Have many performance problems with latest versions of Firefox.
I remove fFrefox and reinstall 18.0 and everything is fine until Firefox automatically updates to 28.x.
I remove check in box when asked if want Firefox Maintenance installed, but downloads updates anyway and next time I bring-up then problems are back!!!
I have to start over again and never X Firefox.
I just want the basic Firefox - simple, FAST and WORKS !!!
Never liked IE - but may have to go back to it.
Chrome is also automatic download update.

What kind of problems do you have with the Firefox 28 release?
Did you check your security software (firewall, anti-virus) to make sure that the new version in allowed?
It is possible that your security software (firewall, anti-virus) blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full, unrestricted, access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

Referencing Check Boxes on Another Form

From one form, I want to reference the rows that have been checked on another form.
The Process
I have a form with many items/rows. Each item/row has a check box and Unique Id on this form. I would like to click multiple check boxes indicating the rows I want to work with. When I click a button, I would like to open a new form with only those items I have checked.
While I have lots of documentation, I am so new I am not sure where to look.

in help.sap I have founded that using variable type replacement path I can use one query results in another query. It is wrote there that I have to choose query name results I want to get in variable definition but I do not know where.
How I can do this?
Result I want to get is:
In one query I have material prices in another material quantities. I want to calculate inventory value (price * quantity). Moreover prices are on plant level, quantities on storage type level. Plant is atribute of storage type.
Can I do this?

Where is the "Start New Row" check box when adding a div tag?

Ever since I updated Dreamweaver, when i add a div tag i no longer see the "Start A New Row" check box. The only checkbox i see is "Insert as a Fluid Element". Has this option been removed or has it been moved to a new location?

We have updated Fluid grid in 12.2 release of DW as well as in CC release.
Unlike before, Now DW smartly recognizes when a Fluid page is open and Converts Structure category to Fluid layout category.
I.e. when any element is inserted from Structure category on to a fluid page it will be inserted with required CSS to make it fluid, Unless user advices otherwise.
The idea is to enhance the support for almost all the structural elements as fluid elements, rather than just supporting Div as a fluid element. Hence, Insert Fluid Grid Layout Div Tag has been removed.
Steps to Insert a fluid element:
Select Insert > Layout.
Select the element that you want to insert. (i.e Div or Header or footer etc) 3. In the dialog that appears, enter a new class name, or enter a value for the ID. The selected element is inserted on the layout.
4) To insert a normal/non fluid element uncheck 'Insert as fluid element' check box in previous dialog.
Now to answer second part of your concern " Regarding missing "Start A New Row" check box"
All the elements inserted on a fluid page, start in a New row by default. If user wants to place the element in previous row then in can be achieved by clicking "Move Up a row" button which comes up on FG element HUD, after inserting that element.

Move from one text box to another w/o using tool box

I'm constantly needing to move from one editable text box to another editable text box -- or to a vector graphic and back to a text box. I'd love a keyboard shortcut to move around if there is one. Having to constantly click the cursor in the tool box to activate a text box is so tiresome.

As I (mis)understand it, from other tools to the Type Tool, you can just press the T key.
Unfortunately, you cannot press the relevant other key with any kind of Type object selected because that will just add that letter somewhere.
You can see the keystrokes for the different tools when you hover over them.
