How to disable or decrease Cache persistance time in dashboard?

Hi everyone,
I have used the AUTHORIZATION concept in my OBIEE project with the help of AUTHORIZATION table in SQL database.Here,in database table, records have User-ID with other coloumns like name, email, etc with groupname also.
It is working properly, but when i make some changes in AUTHORIZATION table in database , like adding new user or changing group membership of some existing user, it doest reflect in dashboard link IMMEDIATELY.
For example, user SHYAM is member of Organization Head group and Vertical Head group. So, he can see report of both the groups.
But , if we update his group membership to Vertical Head group only, by deleting Organization Head group membership in Database,
the respective change do not reflect in dashboard.
I have to restart the obiee services on server.
only then changes are visible.
Is there any way to disable the CACHE completely....
or Atleast decrease the cache persistance time to least , i.e, few seconds or completely to zero.
Please help me by giving some solution.....

In your init block which fetches the group membership for a particular user for the variable target chose row wise intialization and unmark 'Use caching' option.

set the cache persistent time ,will i face any problem?no problem at all but it is for each any every time .....let say if u set the time as 2minutes but after a year some one has updated the table wanted to see results in a minute then u already setted the parameter to 2 minutes the cache presistent time u need to change manually where as coming ton the event polling no need of that it ll update directly...maintainence purpose event polling is best one

Set the text item's Enabled property to False at design time. Then, using SET_ITEM_PROPERTY (see Forms Help), set to Enabled in the relevent part of the code on the WHEN-BUTTON-PRESSED triggers on your Insert and Update buttons. Similarly, disable on your Save button once the cnahges are saved etc.

How to disable the EO cache in AM ?

My customer share AM defination codes between two applications,and let EO coexist in multi AMs.And they have build a lot of codes.I wonder if this will exist trouble.
from the support documents, I know the AM has an EO cache. after one client update an EO,if second client get the EO from the same AM,It will get it from the cache. What I want to know:
1.if the EO also exists in another AM2 in same Application,can the AM2 cache refresh data according to the AM1 update?
2.if AM2 can't be refreshed,how to disable the AM2 EO cache,then let all query directly to database ?

I need to clearify the scenario,this is really happening in a customer project,I just have a chance to review the codes today.
A team develops a system, they use AM1 to IUD data,B team also want to use the data,they have a separate app,and dont' want to define from EO to VO again,but A team don't want B team take the insert and update ability to A database, so they develop a simplify AM2,and give the source codes to B team.
I feel what they do is not right,but they must put it online and have no time to listen to me.Currently I want to find some fast way to avoid the data unconsistency risk.
But I dont know if am2 alone in an app,what the app should do to get refreshing data which is updated by another app.
BTW, from the customer concern,they could not create AM2 from AM1.because the AM1 and AM2 will not coexist in same app.

No. But you can use the scheduler module in your rule or monitor, which will dictate when the workflow will actively run on the agent - hence disabling alerting for that time period.

I ever asked the technical support from www.rocars.gov.hk and they replied this issue is related to Java. So I ask here.

for changing the light settings go to menu->ctrl.panel->settings->general->personlization->display-> there u have light time out option change it with ur desire output..
for disabling the power saver got to menu->ctrl.panel->settings->general->personlization->themes->power saver and just change it to none. and u r done.

How to disable internet at a certain time for certain computers?? (kinda like a parental control)

We have a WRT54G and we all connect to the router wirelessly. The router has to be downstairs because our modem also has to be downstairs. We have digital phone so our phone has to be connected to the modem, which is why i cannot connect physically with an ethernet cable.
I have a little brother and a little sister and i have to control their internet because i see them awake in their rooms surfing the net. I see that i can disable "wireless internet connection" or create a policy disabling the internet at certain days and times at 192.168.blah.blah. But i just want to create a policy for my sister and brother's connection and not mine. I'm afraid if i create a policy, it may also disable my connection to.

You will need the IP addresses and MAC address for the computers you want to block. You will find this information under DHCP table.
In Access Restrictions set a policy name and set status to enable. Input your computers info in Edit lists of PCs. Now set your days and times.
The system works between 12 am to 11:59 pm You can allow Internet from say 6 am to 11 pm but you cannot deny from 11 pm to 6 am.
If you have any problems download userguide for your router.

Every time I try to send an email, I get a box requiring me to type in a password (the one associated w/my ISP provider account). I can't find a way to turn off. My daughter uses Thunderbird & does not have this problem. She has a desktop pc & I am using a laptop, but I wouldn't think that would make a difference? There is no check box with, at or near the password requirement. It is the same password used to access my server (comcast.net). I have asked comcast.net and they told me it is a Mozilla Thunderbird problem, and they have no control over it, so can't fix the problem - CALL THUNDERBIRD!
But Thunderbird doesn't have any customer service. The problem only began when I had to change my comcast.net password (and no, the old one doesn't work either now).

How to disable webview cache for Windows Phone 8.1 Runtime universal app?

Is it possible to disable cache for the Webview control for a Windows Phone 8.1 runtime universal app? My App seems to be remembering the information it received the first time. My app logs me into a service and when I go back to rerun app in the emulator
(without completing shutting down the emulator) it logs me in automatically rather than giving me the prompt. This behavior is in the NavigationCompleted handler if that helps explain a bit more on where I am hitting this issue.
If I were to shut off the emulator completely and then restart it then I am prompted for the login name and password again. I have gotten over this cache issue, when I was using the HttpClient in other part of my app, by sending the no-cache in the header
as:
client.DefaultRequestHeaders.Add("Cache-Control", "no-cache");
Can I do something similar for the webview control?

How to disable memory cache for SL410?

Hi,
My lenovo thinkpad SL410 has Windows 7 prof edition as its OS. But in the last few months it frequently crashes. Many times when I use Chrome browser status would indicate AppCache, and that's an evil OMEN for its usually the prelude of crash. Other browser may or may not have such issue, however, Chrome is really my preferred web browser.
Some research seems to suggest disabling memory cache via BIO setup would resolve it. And here's my lenovo's BIO info:
Version: 1.23
Date: 2009-10-19
but it does not have any info as to who's its maker or the like. And I don't see any option in the BIO setup that would allow me to disable cache. So, two questions,
a) Is it possible to disable memory cache for SL410?
b) if so how?

How the files are decreasing from RBS storage after some time i delete docs from document library, where shld I check the settings for this?

I created a web application and configured rbs storage ,
I uploaded documents (for ex: 18 number)
after uploaded documents , and observed the RBS storage folder, number of files are increasing (39 number) , its working fine
and also I run the querys to check the rows increasing or not , (when I upload new doc rows are increased its fine also)
select count(*) from alldocs
Select count(*) from AllDocstreams
but when I delete some docs from document library ,
1)the doc itself deleted from document library
2)when I check the rbs storage there is no number of files are decreased(its still 39 files ), its same as before doc deleted from doc library
after some time I found the number of files are decreasing from RBS storage folder in sql server,
here I want to know the how the files are decreasing from RBS storage after some time, where shld I check the settings for this? and how I control on it
here how I know the settings for cleaning up orphan BLBOS how these deleted BLOB

1. WHen you delete the file from Sharepoint, it is still present in Recycle bin. This is a default setting in sharepoint for 30 days. Once files are deleted fro Recycle bin, it can also be delete from RBS
2. There is a RBS cleanup job which deletes files from RBS. for more info check

How to disable App Caching in 10.9

Hi All,
As much as I think that the new memory management system in OS X 10.9 is a very nice idea, it really doesn't work for me because I have Virtual Machines stopping and starting and the despite the fact that they are only trying to pull 512MB each, the system just can't handle pushing that much to them.
Is there a way to disable this app/file caching and get back to something more to the style of the old memory management system - I really want to have FREE memory available for when I actually need it - I really don't care if free memory is wasted memory, free memory is what works for me

Unfortunately, no - App Nap only applies to running applications, and saving processing power and thus energy, whereas the app preloading is all about being clever about which files are in use and keeping as many as possible crammed into the memory.
