How to disable Splash Screen?

Hi Experts,
Whenever I am logging into CRM's WEB UI it throws a splash screen saying CRM is starting or Processing. Is there any way out by which I can disable this splash screen? This screen lasts only for few seconds.
Thanks in advance!!
Cheers,
RJ

Hi RJ,
You can enhance the BSP Application CRM_UI_START. The part you need to change is on the page default.htm.
The code that shows the box is:
<%-- starting session --%>
<div id="crmUIHostDialog" class="crmUIHostDialog">
  <thtmlb:box name="uif" >
    <span id="crmUIHostDialogText"><%=otr(CRM_BSP_UI_FRAME_APPL/SessionStart)%></span>
    <br/><img src="ScreenLoadingAniSmall.gif"/>
  </thtmlb:box>
</div>

I would like to play a movie on my iMac but to watch it on my LCD TV. How to disable iMac screen and not to put it into sleep. PLS have in mind that ctrl+shift+ eject does not work, it makes my iMac screen go  black as well as the  tv screen.So far, i have red many articles concerning this subject, but no one seems to have the right answer. I simply can´t believe that apple did not think of it, as it is nothing new ....
Thanks

My brother has eight cats, so your not along. Fortunetly his go outside.
I have been talking to the people over at macforums and they had some good thoughts. One guy suggested going analog and soldering in a rocker switch on the cable connecting a hub to the computer, turn off switch turns off keyboard and mouse.
I was prepared to try that but a great idea came along. Arch, you might be interested in this too. Buy a cheap (found one locally for $20) usb kvm switch that takes one usb keyboard and mouse and connects it to two pcs/macs and only connect one of the outs to my system. There is a button to switch between the two, so when I want to disable the keyboard and mouse, I just switch it to pc2, which is not connected to anything.
Cheap and easy solution. I wish I could of figured out how to do this with software, since there would be no money if it was freeware, but I guess you cant win them all.
Thanks everyone for chiming in!

• How to disable full screen "fade" transition?

Hello,
Just got my new MBP and upgraded from Snow Leopard to Mountain Lion in the process. Computer seems to work great, but Aperture now has this odd "slideshow" like fade when I toggle to my images in full screen. It's slow and distracting, more gimmicky than anything else. Does anyone know how to disable this?
Apologies if this has been answered elsewhere...couldn't find a thread by searching.
Many thanks,
David

Thanks, Leonie. It's nice to know I'm not a lone voice crying out in the wilderness! I find it hard to believe that other photographers who use Aperture for professional work aren't bothered by this feature.
My problem is that yes, a direct "cut" from one image to the other--like it used to be!--is the only practical way to compare photos...
I have tried to find ways to "turn off animations" in the Mac OS, but it seems that none of the old methods that worked with Lion worked with Mountain Lion.
I will take your advice and write feedback to Apple.
Best,
David

• How to view splash screen longer ?

Hi,
I'm designing custom splash screen. Is there any way to see it longer time than page loading ? It's some to fast :)
Kuba

Hi!
I don't know (at this moment) the ADF-only way to do this, but you can improvise with plain javascript:
<script>
function showImage() {
      document.all.splashImage.style.visibility = "hidden";
function hideImage() {
      document.all.splashImage.style.visibility = "hidden";
function onLoad() {
      showImage();
      SetTimeout("hideImage();", 1000*5); // SetTimeout takes a number of milliseconds e.g. here 5 seconds
</script>Now, you have to figure out how you want this to be applied to your use-case. If you want this splash to appear after the default (showing the ADF RC initialization) then just attach the onLoad() to the af:document clientListener type=load. If you want to replace the default with your own, you have to more work... you have to figura out how.

• How to deactivate splash-screen offering "edit" / "organize"?

I have just updated (on Mac OS X) to version 9. I don't want to use the Adobe Organizer, which seems to be new in this version. I never want to see it or use it, I just want to edit photographs.
How can I jump over the splash screen straight into Photoshop Elements when I start the program?
Thanks!
John

You made an alias to the wrong file. Go into applications and you'll see this:
You want to drag the one without the version number or the little arrow on the lower left corner into the dock. That's the actual program. The one below it is an alias for the Welcome Screen.

Not sure what you ? is since your subjet says : how to disable then your statement in the body of the form says " touch the screen without causing stuff to move" so confused.

• How to disable nag screens about updating to Firefox 24

I would like to know how to disable the endless nag screens inviting me to update to Firefox 24.
I do not want Firefox 24 because I tried it for two weeks and it was repeatedly crashing - several times in each day - or simply freezing. I cannot work this way and so I have downgraded to a previous version of Firefox and I have not had a single problem in a whole month.
Please be aware that I do not allow Norton products on my computer so that is not an issue.
I keep a very clean computer - scanning EVERY night before shutdown with CCleaner and JetClean with Avast running permanently in the background. I also scan weekly with Superantispyware.

Note that using any version older than 24 has security risks, I would update and then try to post crash reports using the instructions below.
First update Firefox
* Update Firefox to the latest version
Then once as Firefox crashes 5 times and you have submitted the crashes to mozilla, using the Mozilla Crash Reporter. Place crash ID's to this site to find how the problem can be fixed.
#Enter about:crashes in the address bar (that's where you enter your website URL) and press Enter. You should now see a list of submitted crash reports.<br><br>
#Copy the 5 most recent crash ID's that you see in the crash report window and paste them into your response here.
More information and further troubleshooting steps can be found in the Firefox crashes article.

• MSI Z97 Gaming 7: Soundblaster Cinema Software, Disable Splash-Screen?

Hi there,
is it possible to disable the splash Screen of the Soundblaster Cinema Software? Its really annoying on Windows Startup.
I've already checked the Options in the Software but didnt find a Thing to disable it.
Thanks in advance

MSconfig is not necessary, you can just tell it not to start with windows.
Obviously avoiding the software avoids the splash screen but it's not a real solution.

• How to disable print screen by group policy?

I tried with below steps however its not working. Please assist me on this?.
Step one:  Create a Reg_binary entry using the info below:
(reg file: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Keyboard Layout]
“Scancode Map”=hex:00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,04,00,00,00,00,00,2a,e0,00,00,37,e0,\
00,00,54,00,00,00,00,00)
Step two: Link all OU sites to this new GPO policy
Do one of the following:
1. To link to a domain or an organizational unit, open Active Directory Users and Computers.
2. In the console tree, right-click the site, domain, or organizational unit to which you want the Group Policy object to be linked.
3. Click Properties, and then click the Group
Policy tab.
4. To add the Group Policy object to the Group Policy Object Links list, click Add. This opens the Add
a Group Policy Object Link dialog box.
5. Click the All tab, click the Group Policy object that you want, and then click OK.
6. In the properties dialog box for the site, domain, or organizational unit, click OK.

Hi Dinesh,
To disable print screen, we can create a .reg file containing:
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Keyboard Layout]
"Scancode Map"=hex:00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,04,00,00,00,00,00,2a,e0,00,00,37,e0,\
     00,00,54,00,00,00,00,00
Then, we can apply the registry setting through a startup script via group policy, or if our domain controllers is Windows Server 2008 or above, we can utilize Group Policy
Preferences Registry extension to deploy the registry setting.
Regarding this point, the following thread can be referred to for more information.

• How to make Splash Screen

Hello,
Attempting to create a splash screen. However, i'm having some difficulty. the screen seems to hang albeit there's some functionality in the code that requests the screen disposes itself. Also, the image for the screen is flickering albeit the Update() method has been overriden to call the overriden paint method. the splash screen is comprised of two classes: SplashWindow and Splash. the Splash class is invoked from the Main method of the application.
Unfortunately, the SplashScreen object can't be used since the target device requires jre 1.4.2 and below.
Here's the code from the two classes:
import java.awt.Frame;
import java.awt.Toolkit;
import java.net.URL;
public class Splash {
         public static void main(String[] args) {
              Frame splashFrame = null;
              URL imageURL = Splash.class.getResource("img.png");
              if (imageURL != null) {
                   splashFrame = SplashWindow.splash(
                             Toolkit.getDefaultToolkit().createImage(imageURL) );
              } else {
                   System.err.println("Splash image not found");
              try { // Change the class name to match your entry class
                   Class.forName("MainApp").getMethod("main", new Class[]
                             {String[].class}).invoke(null, new Object[] {args});
              } catch (Throwable e) {
                   e.printStackTrace();
                   System.err.flush();
                   System.exit(10);
              if (splashFrame != null) {
                   splashFrame.dispose();
/*END OF CLASS*/
import java.awt.Dimension;
import java.awt.EventQueue;
import java.awt.Frame;
import java.awt.Graphics;
import java.awt.Image;
import java.awt.MediaTracker;
import java.awt.Toolkit;
import java.awt.Window;
public class SplashWindow extends Window {
         private static final long serialVersionUID = 1L;
         private Image splashImage;
         private boolean paintCalled = false;
         public SplashWindow(Frame owner, Image splashImage) {
              super(owner);
              this.splashImage = splashImage;
              MediaTracker mt = new MediaTracker(this);
              mt.addImage(splashImage,0);
              try {
                   mt.waitForID(0);
              } catch(InterruptedException ie) {}
              int imgWidth = splashImage.getWidth(this);
              int imgHeight = splashImage.getHeight(this);
              setSize(imgWidth, imgHeight);
              Dimension screenDim = Toolkit.getDefaultToolkit().getScreenSize();
              setLocation( (screenDim.width - imgWidth) / 2,
                        (screenDim.height - imgHeight) / 2 );
         @Override
         public void update(Graphics g) {
              g.setColor(getForeground());
              paint(g);
         @Override
         public void paint(Graphics g) {
              g.drawImage(splashImage, 0, 0, this);
              if (! paintCalled) {
                   paintCalled = true;
                   synchronized (this) { notifyAll(); }
         @SuppressWarnings("deprecation")
         public static Frame splash(Image splashImage) {
              Frame f = new Frame();
              SplashWindow w = new SplashWindow(f, splashImage);
              w.toFront();
              w.show();
              if (! EventQueue.isDispatchThread()) {
                   synchronized (w) {
                        while (! w.paintCalled) {
                             try {
                                  w.wait();
                             } catch (InterruptedException e) {}
              }  end of class
// in the Main method of the application, the Splash object is instantiated and it's main method invoked
Splash oSplash = new Splash();
oSplash.main(args);any help is appreciated.

i was able to find the solution to the problem. it appears that there are couple calls in the code to synchronize the thread the splash screen is running on. these multiple calls was causing the flicker. so, i removed the "synchronized" call in the paint method.
the infinite loop was being caused by "forName" call for the class, so it was removed as well.

• How to disable registration screen for all users

Hi, can someone advice how I can disable the registration screen when user first startup Acrobat? I am using Acrobat 9
Thanks

I don't know if you can. Try this.
Make a copy of the registry.
Make a new copy of the registry after registering.
Try to find the difference in the files after comparing registries. Then change the registry for all future installations.

• How to disable full screen prompt

I have a folder level javascript that puts all pdfs into full screen mode.   It is a super simple script; app.fs.isFullScreen=true;
My issue is that it always prompts the user, notifying them that Acrobat is trying to put the current pdf into full screen mode.  I would like to disable this prompt.  I want Acrobat to always go into full screen mode and never prompt the user.  Can i disable this prompt in javascript?  Please help

Is there a way to programmatically set this via Javascript?  I have 60inch monitors that will display and loop through multiple pdfs.  I want these pdfs to always show in full screen, to fill up the monitors.  So is it possible to access via Javascript, these preferences and be able to 'deselect' the Alert when going into full screen for all pdfs, instead of having to do it individually?  I have looked at the javascript docs; but i do not believe app.fs will provide me access to those properties.

• How to disable full screen advertisements on samsung brightside?

I started getting full screen ads on my samsung brightside.  I now get 2-3 per day, and I have option of dismissing or viewing them.
How can I turn this annoying feature off?  I didnt perform any software updates to alter the phone.  Why is it all of a sudden showing ads now?
Thanks.

you have to go into your apps and remove the app daily pulse. (I think that is what it is called) once that is removed it should not come up. I had to do it myself and I haven't seen any adds since.
