How to display 15 minutes increment in a daily calendar.
Hi,
I'm interested to display 15 minutes by 15 minutes the time in the daily calendar. Is it possible with the last version of APEX ?
Thanks.
Eric
This is the problem I'm having by not having the 30 minutes calendar display:
I'm developing an application where people can arrange meetings every thirty minutes (at HH:00 and HH:30) and the calendar is supposed to show all the meetings saved in the DB.
The monthly calendar works properly, but the weekly and daily calendars don't show those meetings starting in a "HH:30" format time, only show those that start at :00.
e.g. If I set up a meeting at 10:00AM there is no problem, but If the start time is 10:30AM this meeting is not showed in the daily or weekly calendar.
Please help.

How to display the NULL records by multiple XMLTABLE()
First, let me provide the testing data of INSERT and CREATE TABLE sql:
create table xml_t2 (xml_raw XMLTYPE);insert sql, a bit long.....just copy and paste then run it will be OK!
the system warns: Your message exceeds the maximum length of 30000 characters.
So, I place it on the mediafire shariing space
http://www.mediafire.com/?npmot6lgl86dgliTesting SQL:
SELECT t1.years, t1.months,t1.days,t1.hours,t1.value,t2.value
FROM xml_t2,
XMLTABLE ('$d/cdata/F1' passing xml_raw as "d" COLUMNS years integer path '//year', months varchar(3) path '//month', days varchar(2) path '//day', hours varchar(2) path '//hour', mins varchar(2) path '//minute', value float path '//value') t1 ,
XMLTABLE ('$d/cdata/F2' passing xml_raw as "d" COLUMNS years integer path '//year', months varchar(3) path '//month', days varchar(2) path '//day', hours varchar(2) path '//hour', mins varchar(2) path '//minute', value float path '//value') t2The condition for now is....In the xml data, I have deleted the month 'Jan' with <F2>tag which is in 2010.
That mean the output of XMLTABLE t2 will not contain the 'Jan' records but it is still remain in XMLTABLE t1.
The problem is that when I use the above SQL to show the t1.value, it will not display the t1.value in 2010 Jan.....it just skipped 'Jan' and becomes 'Feb'...
what i would prefer to display is something like this:
YEARS MONTHS DAYS HOURS t1_value t2_value
2009 Jan 01 01 8 8
2009 Jan 01 02 8 580
2009 Jan 02 01 580 580
2009 Jan 02 02 580 580
2009 Feb 01 01 440 440
2010 Jan 01 01 627 NULL
2010 Jan 01 02 627 NULL
2010 Jan 02 01 367 NULL
2010 Jan 02 02 367 NULL
2010 Feb 01 01 367 849
2010 Feb 01 02 849 849
..............So...the main problem is how to display back the record in JAN in 2010 in t1 XMLTABLE and assign null to the t2 XMLTABLE since it doen't contains this months record.
THANKS for help!!Hi,
What's your database version?
Are you using binary XML storage? (This is the default in 11.2.0.2)
If not you have to explicitely specify it :
create table xml_t2 (xml_raw XMLTYPE)
xmltype column xml_raw store as securefile binary xml;Along with object-relational, it's the best storage strategy to use in conjunction with XMLIndex.
You should also use a structured XML index instead, it's more appropriate than the unstructured index you're currently using :
create index xml_t2_sxi on xml_t2 (xml_raw)
indextype is xdb.xmlindex
parameters (q'#
XMLTABLE xml_t2_xt '/cdata'
COLUMNS
YEARS INTEGER PATH 'F1/name/year',
MONTHS VARCHAR(3) PATH 'F1/name/month',
DAYS VARCHAR(2) PATH 'F1/name/day',
HOURS VARCHAR(2) PATH 'F1/name/hour',
MINS VARCHAR(2) PATH 'F1/name/minute',
VALUE FLOAT PATH 'F1/name/value',
VALUE2 FLOAT PATH 'F2/name/value'
call dbms_stats.gather_table_stats(user, 'XML_T2');Use the query provided by Stew and check the explain plan, you'll see the difference. -

How to display S.no adjacent to employees table help plsss
In a form in tabular format Emp details are displayed
Adjacent to the table i want to put a Sno display item showing
1 for 1st employee
2 for 2nd employee ......
I thought i could like create a global variable in a package specification in a program unit and assign it to 1
Package pack1 is
v_num number :=1;
end;
and then write a PRE_ITEM trigger for a Sno item in the object navigator
In the trigger
how to display the value inside v_cnt;
I tried creating a sequence
create sequence v_seq;
but the sequence really wont help me as
it would keep on incrementing
so how can i display the value inside the v_cnt in a item
Is it possible not to use a trigger and still achieve thisBEDE,
what will the :system.cursor_record show in a tabular block of 10 rows and what the rownum will sho instead (even if you change the where clause or the ordre by) :
- the :system.cursor_record will show the number of the fetch.
1-10 rows : 1
11-20 rows : 2 etc ...
- the rownum order by field :
rownum - field
1- A
2- B
3 - C etc..
- the rownum order by field desc :
rownum - field
1 -C
2 - B
3 - A etc..
- the rownum where clause filed != 'B':
rownum - field
1 - A
2 - C
3 - D etc..
So Sqlstar_student, just choose the method regarding your needs.

BB Bold 9000 How to display Arabic SMS text
I'm new to these forums so sorry if I'm posting this in the wrong spot .. please redirect me if so.
Recently bought BB bold 9000 from Vodafone Aust. Need to know how to display msgs or emails received in ARABIC text .. any help would be appreciated.
Solved!
Go to Solution.Hi,
Download the OS for the carrier and use Application loader inside the Desktop manager software (that came with the Box) and select Arabic with the language options (if that is an option).
Alternatively you could install the OS from an Arabic carrier (involves deleting the vendor.xml file), but its not recommended....
This is the instructions from my website (the short version):
Get an OS from here:http://na.blackberry.com/eng/support/downloads/download_sites.jsp
The Operating system software downloaded from the Blackberry website contains all the files required to reload the O/S.
The Desktop Manager software is NOT required!
Once downloaded and installed, follow these directions:
Download the OS file from your carrier website to the PC then install it to the PC by running (double clicking) the file you downloaded.
Go to c:\program files\common files\research in motion\apploader and delete the file named "vendor.xml."
Plug in BB and double click on "Loader.exe." It's located in the same place as the above vendor.xml file.
The process takes about 45 minutes to an hour depending on how much data you have to backup and restore during the process. Once it's done loading the new OS it will reboot (it may do this twice during the entire process.) You will see a white screen with an hourglass for up to 20 minutes at a time while the DM says "waiting for initialization." If, for some reason, you end up with a white screen with small icons and the number 507, simply connect to the PC again and run Loader.exe again and it should load the OS to the device.

How to display username in RTF BI publisher report?
Please advice how to display username in RTF BI publisher report?
May be this can be done via hidden parameter of BIP report which default value will be set up with macro like {$username$} (or smth like)?
Thanks in advance! Thanks. That worked. I was trying to get it as part of a multi-table query, aliasing dual. But that doesn't work in SQL Plus either so I guess I can't do that.
I was trying
select o.*, d.:xdo_user_name
from oblix_audit_events o, dual d
Before that I was trying
select
:xdo_user_name as USER_ID,
:xdo_user_roles as USER_ROLES,
:xdo_user_report_oracle_lang as REPORT_LANGUAGE,
:xdo_user_report_locale as REPORT_LOCALE,
:xdo_user_ui_oracle_lang as UI_LANGUAGE,
:xdo_user_ui_locale as UI_LOCALE
from dual
but I must have fat fingered something because that works now too. Thanks.
So if I need to do this in it's own query and I'm using an RTF template, how do I make that work?
If I have to do it with it's own -
How to display and edit the clob datatype column from Data base
Hi ,
I have a requiremsnt as below
1) One Table having some columns with CLOB data type along with varchar columns
2) need to display the data from DB in search screen and need to be edited clob column in edit screen
I created EO and VO with that Table and how to display the clob value into the input box for editing.
using Jdev 11.1.1.5.0 version.
Can you please help on this.
THanks & REgards,
MadhuHi,
If you are using an inputText component to display a Character Large Object (CLOB), then you will need to create a custom converter that converts the CLOB to a String.
For custom convertor refer below link,
http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E2438201/web.1112/e16181/af_validate.htm#BABGIEDH
(section7.4 Creating Custom JSF Converters)

I'm having difficulty on how to display targeted URL images and URL link from the smartforms, after i sending it out as html mail. The mail i sent just can be preview as a plain text, which can't execute the html code that i put inside the smartforms itself. I follow a few step from this very useful blog.. Hopefully, you guys can give me some solutions or ideas on this.

3- it's not the right forum to post this kind of question. Post them in the JSP/Servlet JSTL forum instead -

Please Help::How to display a Map with LIsts as Keys and Values using JSTL
Hi,
I need some assistance on how to display a Map in JSP using struts or core JSTL. I have a HashMap which has a List of keys and each key maps to a value of an ArrayList.i.e I have an ArrayList of taxCodes and each taxCode maps to a value of taxDetails which is an ArrayList of details for for that particular taxCode. I have some trouble to display each taxCode then display taxDetails for each taxCode. Here is my code below:

Edited by: aiEx on Oct 8, 2007 6:54 AMhi evnafets,
yes i need a nested for loop.I have tried your advice but my bean properties are not found.Am getting this error:
javax.servlet.ServletException: Unable to find a value for "key_item" in object of class "java.lang.String" using operator "."
I have tried this as stated earlier in the post:I have tried to make the method getItemTaxDetails return a List and get the returned list value as taxDetails. I then tested to display this list on JSP and its displaying fine.
public List getItemTaxDetails(String key_year,String key_office,
String key_client,String key_company,int key_item){

List itemTaxCodes = new ArrayList();

How to display total in ALV Header
How to display total in ALV Header?
Hi Venkey,
As far as your issue is concerned I would like to quote my perception.
Create a header internal table with title and number of records.
At the later part of your program you should have found the total number of records ,now assign it to the header internal table and print it.
For further clarification you can go check this link:
