how can i display format mask as hint to user in concurrent program parameter run-time window?
value set type is fnd_date
i.e

While defining the parameter why don't you define the Parameter prompt something like below:
From Date (DD-MON-YYYY): |___________|
You can always populate the Default Type to SQL Statement and Default Value to select to_char (sysdate,'DD-MON-YYYY') from dual. So it will come as follows:
From Date (DD-MON-YYYY): | _03-NOV-2012_ |

I tried to pass it to the form by an ABAP-dictionary based interface and by means of the context (in a webdynpro page), but both tries failed.
Some suggestion will be greatly appreciated.

How to display Formatted text view in adobe forms

Hi Folks,
We have a element formatted text edit/view in webdynpro so it is easy to make the text formates(Bullets, font sizes, etc..) in webdynpro, but the same feature is not available in Adobe forms designer...I don't find any element in the Adobe Library...
If any body have an idea how to display the formatted text in adobe, please let me know the procedure.
I have a html tag related data in my Ztable..I want to display this converted string from HTML Tab on adobe, please explain me how to fix this issue.

Nested Table: How to display formatted text in the form ?

Scenario:
I have a nested table, say TAB1, containing another table TAB2 which holds the formatted text.
Sample data
Entries in TAB1:
Column1       Column2(TAB2)
Text1         Data_from_tab2
Text2         Data_from_tab2
Text3         Data_from_tab2
Requirement:
The requirement is to display the data in TAB1 as it is maintained.
Trials:
I am aware of the fact that we can transfer the content of the nested table (in this scenario, TAB2) in another table(of type TLINE) defined as a global variable in the interface of the form. Then in the context area, we can define a 'TEXT' node and bind it to the table and choose the 'Dynamic text' for the 'text type' attribute and maintain the other atrributes.
But this approach cannot solve the issue as it is a nested table.
Kindly suggest how can I resolve this issue.

Hi,
if its like colum1, column2 (tab2).
you can represent column2 as a nested table in the form. and put these tables structure intoa subform of type flowed.
then you can have the required format.
the same can also be acheived using nested subforms instead of tables.
example of such scenario is PO & line items.
po number1 , items 1
                      item 2
                      item 3
po number2 , items 1
                      item 2
                      item 3

How to Display Formatted Text IN ALV Column?

HI experts ,
I am displaying ALV with Multiple Column's , One of the Column is TEXT(Fomatted text).
When ALV is Displayed TEXT Column Comes as Continues TEXT . and is Not Formatted .
Now when i want to edit this text i am Calling another View which contains text edit . This Text edit will display correct Formatted Text . but when i save it and Come back to ALV again i do see continues text .
Is there any way where in i can display the Formatted text in ALV Column ?
Any body have any clue with this ...

I had problems like what you are describing. A picture is worth a thousand words, so take a lookee here: http://www.timos.com/timos/green/ct/CounterThink.cfm. When the app displays, press the link button "About CounterThink", then scroll down to the text block with Mike Adams' photo.
My problems were fixed when I eliminated all the spaces in the HTML code. My source code for that block now looks like this:

Every time i need to display the "Latest Modifed" and "Last Modifed" data fetching from database and display the resultant in the right corner, similarly how we will display user name when we log into Apex application.
Hints:
1. I have created a two level tab and under Body i have am using like this

This is some what equal instaed of displaying separted, in your screen you have three tabs, for a example you have ar showing for tabs rite..They only i want to dsiplay the person name.
For example if you consider your screen you have shown "update anony policy"
Now i want to display the name directly like this "update anony policy:Anoo" insated of dsiplaying in a separte screen.

How to display multi-line popup message in user exit?

I need to display a multi-line popup text message with controllable response buttons in a user exit.
I looked at POPUP_TO_CONFIRM with its DIAGNOSE_OBJECT, but I need substitution parameters and the FM doesn't support this functionality. So this won't meet my needs.
Does anyone have any suggestions (maybe with some example code?) about how to do this?

I just followed the below article for getting my whole calendar events into my SharePoint Office 365 site's calendar.

In the project center view, at the bottom, we need to add one table, which can show the Issues for the projects that are displayed in the project center view.(Projects visible to the current user).
Example: A resource 1 can see the Projects Project 1, Project 2,Project 3 in the project center view. So resource 1 should be able to see all the issues that are entered against the Project 1, Project 2, Project 3, irrespective of the issue that has

You could simply edit the page and add the risks and issues webparts. This will display risks and issues assigned to the user.
Click on edit page, then add webpart. In the Project We App section, pick up the risk webpart and then the issue webpart. Finally drag them to the bottom of the page and close the page.

i created a formatted search query & attached it to the field 'Quantity' at Line Item level in Sales Order screen. just for testing purpose, i eneterd the following code lines in the query validating 'Quantity'

Bill - From the popup help text:
If you need to create a Date Picker item, but the format you need does not appear in the Display As list, select Date Picker (use application format mask). When an application uses this type of date picker, the Application Express engine derives the date format from an item named PICK_DATE_FORMAT_MASK. You can populate this item in two ways:
- By defining an application substitution string named PICK_DATE_FORMAT_MASK
- By creating an application-level item named PICK_DATE_FORMAT_MASK
