How To Display Message Dialog when the Database is Empty

Hello everybody...Im writing a mini app which uses swing GUI and JDBC. the program is a mini contacts book which adds data to the database thru the textfields and retrives the data to the textfield.now what i want to do is when the menu "show record" is clicked and then there is no data in the database, it should display "no records found" because the database is empty. how do i do that?I need urgent help thanks...

Scrolling of results can be done in 2 ways.
if ur result set are small, read them in one go and display as PREV / NEXT button is pressed,
Or if ur result set is very large, maintain internal counters, and navigate with them.
When u are at first / last entry, better dissable those button actions.

Yes i have adjusted the database from se11 itself by going into utlity > adjust database . However i can still see the
adhoc query -> infoset asking me when iam trying to go in change mode saying the database table has been changed do you want to adjust .
I have adjusted by going to more functions still there is no change. Please let me know what exactly i have to do.

Hi, I added the values together but the time in the graph is not showing the present time.
The one that is not displaying the current time is the voltage graph.
On the x-axis of the voltage graph i want it to display every second interval.

You also shouldn't be using the local variables. Instead, actually add up the signals from the wires. What you have there is a race condition since you can be reading from the local variables before the terminal is written to.

How to deal with the situation when the database change into ms-sqlserver or other database?
Now, i want to build a j2ee project with ORACLE ADF bc,but this project may be used in several diffrent databases for example oracle db,ms db,mysql and so on.however,if i have developer this project in jdeveloper and this project connection was config as a oracle database,and then,can this project be reused for other databases espasially including the model codes? if yes,how should i do?
all who know how to resolve this,tell me pls,thanks.

Do you want to supply a function-pointer to a DLL so it can call[back] your VI? Here's how it can be done with .NET, though, that solution requires a C compiler. A single "VI_to_function-reference" utility could handle all cases where the callback passes no parameters. Maybe someday somebody will share that dll.
Did you know that LabVIEW can use Events for some COM-signals change? See pic. (Note: DTR is not listed - - )
Another question is another function's prototype is WORD SetTestType(WORD comHandle, bool type1, bool type2, bool type3), I tried to use a boolean control and a Boolean to (0,1) node in labVIEW to pass parameters to CLF, I config the bool input value as U8(according to C++ bool type) and U32(according to WIN32 BOOL type), it dose not help, when I execute the VI, LabVIEW will be disappeare, it seems to be closed, I must start it again.
Could someone has similar experience on this points?
It's easy to crash LabVIEW misusing CLF - maybe there's another reason for the crash besides bool mis-match(?) Do you know which "Calling convention" is required? What type is comHandle? (where does comHandle come from?)

Im developing some forms that will be published in EBS 12.1.1
Im using Oracle Forms Builder v 10.12.0.2.
Those forms are based on the Template form.
I have the following problem: Messages are not displayed in the status bar (for example messages about how many records were affected when the user press Save)
Do you know if I need to set up any property or another task that I need to do in order to see the messages ?

Sergio,
Even though your form is based on the Apps Template form, double-check to ensure it has all of the triggers it should have, like the Form level Key-Commit. The easiest way to make this comparison would be to open your custom form and then open one of the EBS forms like "ARXCUDCI". If your comparison shows no significant differences you might be dealing with a situation when the message is displaying in the Console (status bar) but something else is clearing the console. Check for any Clear_Message calls.

I don't know if this is for everyone or just me. When I double click the home button and close skype I still get's messages. This is so annoying, I'm in a big group chat so I almost always get's messages. And turning on bussy doesn't work either or turning on sleep mode (sometimes sleep mode works). The only thing that has been working is turning on offline. I think this is really bad, just turning off the app should work. So does this this tace celuar network even when the app is closed? In my experience, there is no direct way to handle multiple messages in the same time.
If I'm not misunderstanding, I think you want to make a Message app, as a workaround, I think you can pull message data from your Mobile Service can display them in your Messages page, this is more like build-in message app.

How to save a fmb in the database thru command prompt?
I have around 25 fmb template files which needs to be saved in the database.Every time when we apply the new dump , we need to resave the templates in the database to compile other application related fmb files.Its a time consuming process and Monotonous for me. Is there anyway to save the forms in the database thru batch file, so that just I have to execute the batch file every time.

I am using forms6i.Basically our application was migrated from 4.5 to 6i two years back. Due to some reasons our technical team members are insisting us to store the template FMB's into the database to do the coding activities at site.
Once in a month we are receiving the live dump for test database.Hence the problem.
Please suggest the easiest way to store the template FMBs in the database.

sqlldr is an application residing in the OS. procedure runs in the dbms engine.
you cannot run an os command directly from a procedure or a function or a package .
If you want to do so you need to use either a daemon process created by a PRO*C program
or a JAVA stored procedure to do so.

When deploying ADF applications with database connection, you should be using JDBC data sources configured in the weblogic server.
You could change the JDBC data sources to a different DB instance or location - by changing the JDBC data source and restarting the weblogic server.

Page cannot be displayed message ONLY on the content area of the portal

Hi All,
I am using Netweaver Portal 7.0 and the portal works fine if logged in as an end user. But when I'm logged in as Administrator and whenever I try to create a portal object (iview or pages etc), I get a page cannot be displayed message ONLY on the content area of the portal. It is happening quite frequently, any clue what is wrong here?

DEBUG Smartform:
1) One way to debug smartform is to debug the Function Module of that smartforms.
If you want to debug particular smartform node that the solution would be,
insert a "Program Line" just above the node you want to debug and this program line write a normal abap breakpoint.
So whenever you call the smartforms, it will stop at this breakpoint and you can debug onwards.
2) SFTRACE can be used for debugging SMARTFORMS.

1). Use Tools - Word Processing - Layout Set (SE71). Enter name of layout set and then Utilities - Activate Debugger.
It is of no consequence which layoutset you enter when selecting the SAPscript debugger. (Menu path: Tools-Wordprocessing - Forms, Utilities - Activate Debugger) The next layoutset called will invoke the debugger.
2). Another way to set the SAPScript debugger is to run program RSTXDBUG.
When you debug Print program it is same as you debug any other ABAP program. While when you debug SAPScript, you actually debug the code ( scripting) you have written SAPScript Form.
As per ur question there is nothing new with script debugging,
it is same as normal report debugging...

For smartforms debugging you can do this.
1. Execute the smartform (execute button in SMARTFORMS transaction)
2. Take the generated function module and display it in SE80.
3.Find the smartforms Elements (text elements, windows, code lines, loops) in this and set Soft break points.

b. Goto se38-> RSTXDBUG ->Execute this same as going thru in se71-> Menu, now debugger will be activated.
