How to display the contents of servlet request using the swing component.

I am trying using the servlet to receive the request of the J2ME client. When the request will be there, this should be automatically displayed by the swing User Interface. Again, that component should display the previous requests made alongwith this request.

Either there's a lot you're leaving out (maybe you're receiving requests on a server, then storing data, and you want to expose the data later via a console of some kind implemented in Swing?), or you don't understand what you're talking about.

but getting the results in the stretch,i need to display the result one below the other.

if you load it all into the buffer that is going to be very difficult. I would suggest loading it into some sort of collection. I like using an ArrayList.
Then pass the arraylist.
you will then on the jsp iterate through the arrayList using what every you want.. el, logic tags, scriplets.
so something like
ArrayList arrayList = new ArrayList();
while(rs.next()){
arrayList.append(rs.getString(1));
//or possibly an arrayList of String arrays
//maybe using nested for loops. Inner for loop adds result to string[] then //outer adds string[] to arrayList.

Let the servlet ask your business tier to provide the data, then stuff it into beans, and pack those into the Session instance. Then forward the request to the JSP, let the JSP get those beans and display them.

Actually I have this requirement for MAC OS 10.5. With the code you provided, I got the output as "6289375". When I changed the URL to point to my file (file:///Users/VPKVL/Desktop/MyRecord/tempAudio.wav), I am getting the below mentioned Exception:

I think the easiest way to achive this, is to design your RenderListItem form like your ShowForm and restrict the number of items in your collection renderer to "1".
So a list is rendererd with exactly one item.

Hi, I am developing an app in which I must display some messages, each message may have an image. The images are saved in the database. I do not want to save the image on the filesystem but instead of that I want to send the image as an attribute to the page but I dont know then how to display it. I have no idea about how to do that! mmm yes I know that the img tag displays an image but I am asking how to display the image without saving the file into the server filesystem, I mean something like:
1.- getting the bytes from the Database
2.- getting an Image object
3.- pasing it to the request as an attribute
4.- getting that attribute from the request
5.- displaying it on somehow directly from the image var or something.
the src parameter of the img tag takes as a string the path of the image, but i dont want to save it.

I think, you can't do this using iview templates. But you can do this using portal component iview. For that, you have to write one java program which should read the contents of the input file and displays in the internet browser itself.

1, Set one dynamic parameter,
2, Drag and drop that parameter into your report title.
3, Pass the value(sort value) dynamically from your application,
4, Cheers..
Other wise Try with Dataset, create a dataset and fill thev alue into that.. Then set the data source from CR designer. and darg and drop that data column into the report.
