How to do Color Coding in Siebel On Demand Calender.???

Hello,
Can any body help me in how we can do color coding on basis of priority in On demand calender.
plz help asap.
Thank you
Syed Asif

From the top of my head, something like this.
IIF([Priority]="High", "<RED>" + [Description] + "</RED>", IIF([Priority]="Medium", <YELLOW>" + [Description] + "</YELLOW>", <GREEN>" + [Description] + "</GREEN>"))
But I vaguely remember you could assign colors to fields in the Calendar, so I think I did something else.
I think I created calculated fields where only one would have text depending on the Priority.
So let's say I created 3 calculated fields and added them all three to the calendar.
Only fields that contain text will show up.
Calculated Field Description Red: IIF([Priority]="High", [Description], "")
Calculated Field Description Yellow: IIF([Priority]="Medium", [Description], "")
Calculated Field Description Green: IIF([Priority]="Low", [Description], "")
But I never worked with On Demand Calendar, so you have to check what works best for you.
You can also check: How to Configure Standard Applet "Activity HI Calendar Applet" so it Displays Icons or Different Colors to Reflect the Status of the Activities? [ID 1373880.1]
And it looks like you have more control in Siebel 8 (again, I never worked with On Demand, so you have to check yourself).

    Hi,
According to your post, my understanding is that you wanted to make a color events Calendar.
We can achieve it using the OOB method by creating the Calendars Overlay.

You can also use the JavaScript to achieve it.

  • How to pass username dynamically  in siebel on demand weblink

    Hi ,
I am passing SSO Token(like %%%SSO Token%%%) in siebel on demand weblink url to enable single sign on and authenticate our application. After getting SSO token value, i am validating the SSO Token Value by using a siebel callback url. Siebel server will send userame and application enterprise name as response.
But , our application is expecting username dynamically while sending request from web link. But in general flow i am getting username only after SSO Token validation .
So is there any way in siebel on demand to pass username dynamically while configuring a web link. Please advice .

Hi, As part of weblink configuration, you can see a drop down called "User Fields" from where you can pass the required user fields to the other system. Fields available are (Last name, first name, alias, id, email etc). Hope it helps

  • How to revert color-coded messages in SENT mailbox back to normal?

Strange thing, it just happened that all my mails in Sent mailbox turned green (as a result of application of incorrect rules – my address + a particular word – and instead of "any" criterion, I chose "all") and now all the mails stayed green even though I deleted the rule, tried to press "Apply Rules" button (and even after restart).
Is there a way I can de-color them to be able to re-apply the desired rule?

You just need to write a new rule that sets the message color back to default, then run the rule against your mailbox.
Running 'Apply rules' now won't help since there's no rule that changes the message color, so there's nothing for it to do.

  • I have messages in mail that are color-coded as if by a rule, but I have no rules set. How can I correct this?

The only rule that I ever had in Mail was the default one that color coded messages from Apple blue. I notice that some messages are color-coded brown and I have no rules set at al (hence no rule to turn off.)  Some of the messages are related to viewing online magazine, but not all.  How can I stop this?

    Hi. Thanks for your message.
Well, I understand what you are trying to say but I thought it was easier to categorize in Apple Mail.
On Entourage I just click twice on a sender address, record it on Address book and give it a colour that I previously defined as "Work", "Personal", "Customers", "Suppliers", "Friends" or whatever.
As Apple Mail don't have Address Book as part of it but an outside feature it's very annoying. Of course I am used to use a software and I don't expect now Apple Mail do everything as Entourage but... as someone said it seems Apple Mail stopped in time. The recent version seems the first one ever issued. I hate the way Mail.app handles attachments by placing big chunky previews right in my email. I prefer them to be named attachments listed somewhere else, out of the content of my email. I don't if I can change this via terminal commands? Can you tell me if that is possible?
I don't understand why Apple Mail have lots of plugins instead of a great improvment from the backstage.
I use Apple computers since ever and I love this machines but sometimes I don't understand this lake of improvments.
Take a look at this link:
    http://scottworldblog.wordpress.com/2009/10/12/microsoft-entourage-vs-apple-mail /
Of course I don't agree 100% with him but some things are true...

  • Label Printer -  to do color coding

I am looking for a printer, which could print labels with color coding.
Let me explain, what I am trying to acheive..
    1.  I should be able to print labels, - labels of size 4  X 6 IN, or 3 X 2 IN or any sizes of label -- >  the label is not colored, just like any normal label, with white background, and data being printed in black color..(this is what all intermec and zebra printers do.. )
    2. Label has barcodes --> linear bar codes as well as 2D Matrix barcodes... : This could be acheived by any of the Intermec printers (PM4i or 3400E ) or Zebra Printers.
    3. The label should contain a colored strip based on the content of the packing box . for eg, if it is rubber part, the label should contain a Red color strip, if plastic then yellow color, if assembly then blue and so on...  A colored bar of  rectangular shape, (1 cm width and 3 cm long ).
Does anyone know any Printers out in the market, which could do this 3 rd step ?  (obviously along with first step and second step ).
I called Intermec and Zebra - they both dont have it...
Also, Please keep in mind that, these printer should be capable of printing these labels from SAP ---> ie, we will be calling a standard text (SO10), using the write_form, and these printer should be able to print it...
Any input, even a clue, will be of much help for me.
    Thank you

  • Navigation and Color Coding

    Hello Guys,
I have got couple of design questions.
    1. I have a report with a view selector on it(Annual, quarter, month) that navigates to another report with the same view selector(annual quarter month) The problem I have is with the navigation landing pages.
When i changed my report to quarter view from the annual view and then navigate to the report B I still land in ANNUAL view as that is the first view of the report. Users expect to land on quarter view directly based on what they select on the report A.
So i was wondering if there is a way to control the view selector and column selector landing pages when navigation from report A to report B.
    2. This is regarding Color coding. I have three columns in my report Year, quarter, month with conditional color coding done on it(when year=09 then red, when month =jan then blue some thing like that). So now the report has both table and pivot view. The users want to see the color coding only on pivot but not on table. Is there a way to achieve that? I tried duplicating the columns and hiding in the table but hiding in the table will hide across all the views. So i am kind of stuck there as well.
    Can we control this?
    Any advice is appreciated
    thanks
    Prash

Regarding 2) don't know how feasible this is since I can't see your report, but you can try this:
    1) For the columns that you want color-coded, put two instances in your Criteria mode. Now color code one each of those "dual columns" for your pivot table.
    2) For the "Table View" build another pivot table, but design it like a table, but this time using the "uncolor-coded" columns in that pivot table and keeping the other columns in the Excluded box.

  • Calendar App: color coded events...

    Hello,
Like most folks I have a number of calendars - home, personal projects, work, etc. Each is handily color coded in Calendar, which is great. So far, so good.
However, in my *single* work calendar (which is served from a company account on Google so pulling in from my company Google Calendar account) I have multiple types of things going on: internal work and then differet clients work. To make sense of my work world I really need to color code my different clients and my company internal work.
So the outcome I am looking for is to be able to color code locally on my MBP different events sourced from the same Google calendar.
I can't see how to do this in Calendar (I'm on OSX 10.8.2 and Calendar 6.0 (1645)) and so far I haven't found a third party app that will do it either.
Please can any one in the community advise:
    1. If this is possible how I achieve it (e.g. could I create several calendars locally all of which somehow aggregate up into my single Google work calendar so that my colleagues and clients can see a full and true pictue of availability at the Google level while I have segregated/color coded view of items locally on my MBP)?
    2. If this isn't possible in native Calendar app on OSX are there any apps out there that will allow this?
Am I really the only person with this need? I can't believe so and I'm sure someone must have solved this issue already...
Many thanks for your time and consideration of my issue.
    Regards,
    Richard

It sounds like something that you should be able to do with AppleScript, but alas I'm not proficient enough to tell you how to do it. There used to be an Applescript guru that was a regular on here (Yvan), but I'm not sure if he's still active in the community.
You could try searching google for applescripts related to calendar or iCal (its still called iCal in AppleScript's dictionaries list even on Mountain Lion) or try asking for help on MacScripter.

  • CSS WON'T GET COLOR CODED UNLESS THE FILE IS IN A PROJECT?? R U KIDDIN??

If I open a CSS file outside of a project, there is no color coding! Please tell me this can be changed. I DO NOT WANT CFBUILDER ORGANIZING MY PROJECTS!
$299 for this? Really - please explain why I should pay $300 for a bloated version of Homesite?  Homesite was GREAT!  You guys frakked up by killing it.  CFB is confusing, the settings especially, nothing does what it states. Spend too much time trying to figure out how to update a simple thing.  Bad when I have to Google when I just want to display line numbers.  Typical Adobe - non-intuitive.

    Stop shouting.  Jesus.
What you're whining about is the equivalent of my mum (who is a lovely little old lady in her late 70s) buying a new VHS and having a tanty of the buttons not being in "the right place".
If you struggle so much with a software app having settings in different places that it yields this sort of response - and not even an inital visceral response, but lingering enough for you to put the caps lock on and write it down! - you're in the wrong industry, mate.  We're not talking rocket surgery here.  Or even brain science.
That's not to say that shifting from something like HS to Eclipse doesn't involve a bit of a mindshift, but it's not the end of the world.  And no-one's making you change text editors either.
Personally I think CFS was a really good text editor, and I rued moving onto DW (not my choice, I was the guinea pig for a failed experiment at a job I had years ago), and when I moved from DW to Eclipse I spend a few moments going "what's all this project sh!t?".  But then I realised everything I work on actually is a project, and there's no harm in having a little organisation in my work. And the work of the rest of the team.  And whilst I found Eclipse has some quirks I could do without, I also remember CFS had some quirks I could do without (and DW was an app I could simply do without from start it finish), so they're even in that regard.  But I also found that Eclipse's inifintitely customisable platform is a real boon for my development across various languages and productivity tools.  Eclipse really is far far better than CFS when one looks at the bigger picture: the one that is outside the realms of developing just basic websites, by one's self, on a single server (and that's not Adobe's target market with CF & CFB anyway, I think).
That said:  CFB has a way to go (and is ot worth $300: it's just a Eclipse plug-in after all), but being built on Eclipse is a good start.
I look fwd to CFB 2.0 to see if it's worth buying...

  • Color Coding a status report

    Hi All,
Is there a way in web dynpro to color code some values retrieved from a RFC call?
For example, say I have a BAPI that returns a status code in a table structure in the form of a character.
'R' - Red, 'Y' - yellow and 'G' -Green. In the web dynpro I loop thru the table to find out how many red, green and yellows have been returned, eg. R = 3, Y = 5 and G = 9.
Can I then show like a color coded progress bar with the actual colors in web dynpro?
Like so, RRRYYYYYGGGGGGGGG, with the letters being the actual colors? Can this be done?
Any suggestions will be greatly welcomed. It doesn't have to be exactly like above.
    Thanks
    TM

    Hi Tony,
I'm new, so feel free to use my approach or not.. =)
I'd first, define three Context Attributes, Red, Yellow, Green (These will reffers to amounts).
You can even, do the sum once, using an Action. You would need to iterate over your table, accessing the Fields and counting by yourself, like:
    if ("RED".equals(modelProperty))
      red++
    if ("YELLOW".equals(modelProperty))
You can also use a switch case if you preffer. You will have the amount of each element in your Value Attributes at that time.
You can define another three Attributes, RedWidth, YellowWidth, GreenWidth, they will be calculated and return type string.
    These calculated attributes will:
      - Access each value Node, for its color;
      - Multiply that guy for any other number you want (to increase width);
      - Return Width + px to View
In the View, declare some Images, Red, Yellow, Green colors. I think you can do a 1px image and just resize on the property in runtime. You can define the height in Web Dynpro Layout, no worries. Put them all in a line, with no spaces between each other.. it should look like a bar I think. Remember that we can't manipulate HTML / JS in Web Dynpro (not at least NW04s I think) - so, don't expect some fancy fancy stuff.. =)
Whenever you change the Node (which you put your calculated attributes in) it will update the values, and return new widths.
The second way to do this is, instead of calculating the value in an Action, calculate the value directly in the Calculated Attribute, (iterating thru the main model node, for each respective color) - It will be a bit slowly, however, less nodes are required. You can probably choose what's best for you.
The code itself shouldn't be that hard. Tell me if you need any more information on how to do the stuff.
    Regards,
    Daniel

  • Color Coding in PHP/MySQL model: INC file

    Dreamweaver 8.02 on Vista RTM (wouldn't matter I don't
    think).
I have a site I was using DWMX to manage previously and at
that time I got into one of the XML or TXT files associated with DW
and changed it so it would reckonize .INC as a valid file and
therefore give me some color-coding, code suggestions as I am
    typing etc.
On DW8 I see similiar XML/TXT files (for DW config) and now
INC files are all over the place... so I am thinking it should
    reckonize this file types.
Still though, the color coding (and the ability to use the
menus to insert img's, etc) are greyed out.
    Any ideas?
    A typical inc
    <div>
    html
    html
    html
    </div>
    nothing hardcore.
Any ideas? Macromedia/Adobe help online wasn't much help and
my searching on the forums isnt bringing up anything.

The .inc filename extension is popular, but it's also
    insecure unless
the include files are stored outside the server root. Web
    servers have
no idea of the correct MIME type for an .inc file, so they
    just serve
them up as plain text if a direct request is sent to the
    server. This
risks exposing sensitive information, such as database
    passwords.
It's far safer to use the combination .inc.php. The server
    sees the .php
filename extension and parses any code as PHP. The .inc
    reminds you that
    it's an include file.

    Thanks for the tip David.
That might have been a solution from the begining but I was
going off what I was reading in some PHP books and looking at
samples, etc. I am running PHP5 on IIS6 and its been fine for a
year, I just tried what you mentioned, to treverse directly to the
includes (and I know where they are...) and IIS doesn't give them
up. If you have a method to try let me know I would be interested
in seeing... though honestly, in the case of the website at hand,
minus one dynamic section what is in the INC is what people see by
viewing source on thier browser and in case of the dynamic pages
(google maps mashup) they can have it ;) if it helps them with
thier site... let me know if there is a way to test that security.

  • Color coding of calendar in Sharepoint 2010

    Hi All,
I have requirement where i need to add new metadata and to use the new metadata column in the calendar for color coding. Please suggest how i can do this?
    Thanks.

    Hi,
According to your post, my understanding is that you want to color coding of calendar in SharePoint 2010
To get this done efficiently, SharePoint’s built-in calendar overlays are the way to go.
You can follow the steps as below:
Customize category column in the calendar list
Create views filtered by category column
Create blank view where the category filters for NULL value
    Add the calendar overlays
For more information, you can refer to:
