How to edit my blog posts

Hello,
I am quite sure I had a method to change a Blog post after it was finalized in the past. I can't find that link anymore.
I searched this Forum here for other questions/answers but was unable to locate a discussion on that: is nobody enhancing or correction posts afterwards?
Or is this a Firefox 3 or NoScript Problem?

Yes my own posts. I found them unter "My Weblogs" but clicking on them brought me to the normal display mode, not to the edit mode. However it works now. Not sure if that was a cache/session problem or if I am just blind

How to fix BC blog post meta title and description

BC blog post <title> and <description> shows (seo) from sidebar/post list - But does not show in blog post page thru site menu nav.
The blog post title and description show up corectelly when clicking on sidebar list of posts.
It must be using the module layout list.html which I have set up with:

Firstly, putting blog posts meta title in the list layout is really bad - You do not do this. This is not how meta works and you need to understand a bit more about what it is.
If you have a list of blog posts on a page all with lots of title and meta BC will do one of two things.
1. Use the very last title and meta it sees rendered on all the layouts/templates/page it sees
2. Render the last title and spit out multiple meta's
Meta implementation is for the detail layout of something like a blog only - The single rendered content - 1 title, 1 meta description. For your blog this will ONLY go in the blog detail layout.
And in that layout at the bottom of it..
    <head>
    <title>{tag_blogpostmetatitle}</title>
        <meta name="description" content="{tag_blogpostmetadescription}">
    </head>
You need to understand that, remove it from others to fix up that issue with what your doing first. Very likely because you probably have this in other list layotus and all over the place your seeing inconstant output, address this and you probably will actually find your issue fixed.

How to change the blog posts view when navigating through categories?

Hello, currently I've been struggling for a while with the following problem:
In my SharePoint blog site I have the following default view of posts:

When I click on a category, I get the following view of posts:
http://s29.postimg.org/58lm8p993/Category_site.jpg
Is there any possibility to get the same way of showing post as how it looks on the default site? So with Image, with body etc. But then only filtered based on category.
Any help would be highly appreciated!

Hi Danny,
No, my result is like:
You can do as the followings:
Edit the page
Insert the Categories list into the page
Insert the Posts list into the page
Edit the Posts web part, and switch the current view to Summary view, click OK
Click Connections->Get Filter Values from->Categories, like the screenshot below:
Provide Field Name:Title, Consumer Field Name: Category
Click Finish
Then you can filter posts based on a category by clicking Select in the first screenshot.

How do you import blog posts to iWeb?

I have a blog hosted at another site--lots of posts and comments. Does anyone know how to import all that into iWeb? I can export an XML file from my old blog site, but can't find a way to import into iWeb.

That's because you can't do it. iWeb is not an html editor, so cannot import anything.

Trouble with editing BC Blog Modules in Dreamweaver

I was wondering how to customize blog modules in dreamweaver. In dreamweaver when I add the "list of post module" into a template, then click on data, I do not see the tags to insert archive blog posts, or older and newer posts tags. How can I add and edit those tags. In the end I am looking to get a blog that looks like this. Also, is there not a way to edit the blog post detail in Dreamweaver? In BC I see that it is possible to add an image in the older and newer blog post tags. How do I do that? Thanks for all the help!

Start Firefox in Safe Mode (https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode) and choose the 'Reset toolbars and controls option'. This will get you back to the stock icon set which you can then customize to your liking

How to insert a "Recent Blog Posts" section on your website.

I constantly see on other websites a section of "Recent Blog Posts". And this is not just limited to blog hosting sites (like wordpress and blogger). Check out this picture:

Three hints in the URL suggest that you can achieve the function by using wordpress. To do it outside of wordpress you simply edit latest blogs manually if static or use server side scripting language with database if dynamic.

Depending on how many posts you have, it may be best to copy and paste them into Wordpress. I don't know for sure, but I dought if there is any process that will do that automatically for you. I would have your iWeb blog (edit Mode) window open and then Create a new blog in Wordpress. Copy the iWeb title/paste into Wordpress - Copy the iWeb blog text/paste into Wordpress. It should go fast once you get the first one done because you'll do the same for all. Hope that helps.

Your blog is on Google's Blogger which uses XML templates. If you want to change the look of your blog, use a different Blogger Template. Unfortunately, DW isn't going to be much help with this since you must use the Blogger Dashboard to change templates, content, widgets, etc...

How to post multiple images in one blog post using iweb

Hi
I would like to post multiple images in a single blog post. When ever I add a second or third image in the "entry" section of iweb, it does not show up in the blog post on the homepage of the blog. does anyone know if it is even possible to have multiple, separate images in one post, and if so, how.

I would really like to break out of the one box (placeholder) mold. I feel so constrained in iweb right now. The mechanism is to create a reproduceable test case, create a Service Request in metalink.oracle.com, post the test case, and convince the analyst to file it as a bug.
It may be not efficient at some time, but this the way it is handled.

    I am able to see a option 'Insert Image' in blog post editor. But it is asking me the URL of the image. I can brouse the image from desktop but how to get the URL of that image.
    The same problem also come while adding snaps in profile.
    Can anyone help me on this regards.

There is 2 ways to insert an image:
1. You can select the picture icon on the tool bar
and then the foolowing screen will allow you to upload your picture from your computer:
2. You can also drug and drop the image directly from your computer to the text, this is the way I use.
