How to enable servers and services?

Currently when i go to the personalization screen of my publications i get the following msg:
Unable to find servers in CMS and cluster with kind and service
. All such servers could be down or disabled by the administrator. (FWM
01014)
Kindly let me know how to enable the servers and ensure that the corresponding services are runninng?

After this line of code i got this error(programme is running for arround 30 min and then throw this exception)

How to enable Kerberos - Shared Services and Workspace

Hi All
I'm trying to enable Kerberos SPNEGO with WebSphere 6.1.0.31. I've protected the urls.....and i can see the handshake happening in the trace logs.....
Shared Services SSO is working fine if i use the option of Get Remote user info from http header.....
But workspace doesn't seem to accept any of the options given $REMOTE_USER$, $HTTP_USER$.
Can some please let me know how to do this....? Or is there a way to change the header information?

Ex :1.Per suppose log on to workspace that request goes to shared services directory and it will check whether that user is exists or not on Shared services tables ...here what kind of alogirtham using to aunthenticate user...How we can diagonse this process taking to much time,,,is there any specific logs related this (If logs are exsits how we can find out)...

Hello,
It seems enterprise feature is not activated to your site, not CA. Please go to your site Site Settings/Site Collection Administration/Features and activate the SharePoint Server Enterprise Site Collection features.

I want to put the material and service in the same order. How do it input different taxes. and also migo for one material item and other service item.

In your scenario create material and service PO using T-code ME21N as follows.
1) Select PO document type, vendor and PO date
2) PO first line item account assignment 'N' if project and give input data material code,plant,storage location,qty,rate,delivery date and tax code.
3) PO second line item account assignment 'K', item category 'D',material short text for service, plant,storage location,material group data's are input given and press enter it will open 'Service Tab' in Item Detail Menu.
4) In item Detail Menu - Service tab you will give Service no.,qty,gross price for the above service material activity and service tax code in Invoice TAB and then check PO and SAVE.
5) After getting PO approved by top management.
6) PO first line item, you will do MIGO and PO second line item you will do ML81N service entry sheet.
7) On the vendor bill, you will mention material document number (GRN no.) & Service sheet number and given to accounts dept.. They will book vendor bill and give payment.

I've downloaded EVER SINGLE EXTENSION YOU HAVE and some I found online!!!! HOW DO I COPY AND PASTE??? And please don't be a smart aleck and tell me to right click..I tried that. I've tried everything it's not working...

If right-clicking doesn't work, it could indicate that the site is intercepting and blocking Firefox's regular context menu. Some sites are cheeky and show you a copyright notice when you right-click.
You can change a setting so that you always get Firefox's right-click context menu. If the site has its own menu, Firefox's will appear in front of it. To access the site's menu after making this change, you have to carefully dismiss Firefox's menu with a single press of the Esc key. (I think I've only seen one site where ''both'' menus disappear when I press Esc, so it nearly always works.)
Want to try it?
(1) In a new tab, type or paste '''about:config''' in the address bar and press Enter. Click the button promising to be careful.
(2) In the search box above the list, type or paste '''context''' and pause while the list is filtered
(3) Double-click the '''dom.event.contextmenu.enabled''' preference to switch it from true (sites can detect and re-place the right-click menu) to false (they can't).

UE-V 2.1 - How to Enable WaitForSyncOnApplicationStart and WaitForSyncOnLogon during install

I can't seem to figure out how to enable the WaitForSyncOnApplicationStart and WaitForSyncOnLogon parameter during install. I tried to add WaitForSyncOnApplicationStart=true to my install command but it doesn't seem to work. There must be a way
to set those parameter automatically during install. Anybody has any idea? I am deploying it using the x64 .msi version.

Anybody has an idea? Maybe someone from microsoft? While I apreciate suggestion that were made, using external mean to set those parameter is not really what I call a solution but more of a work around. On top of this, I downloaded the ADMX GPO template
for UE-V 2.1 and those 2 settings are not even part of it.

We're using SharePoint 2010, I'm the system admin for a SharePoint farm. We enabled SharePoint Search by adding a Search Service APplication. One of the crawl report timer job is failing every 5 minte with the error "Cannot connect to remote server".
After digging around, we found that the server running the timer job tries to connect to the SearchAdmin.svc on the index server, over HTTPS / port 32844 However, communication over SSL via a non default port is blocked by our firewall.
According to this article: https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc262849.aspx the default is HTTP for communication
between web servers. How is it possible that it's trying to connect over SSL?

Enabling ports and services with svccfg

Hi,
I had a problem today which appears to have been a result of running jass security hardening on a system.
The webconsole failed to restart, it was eventualy resolved by
# svccfg -s svc:/system/webconsole setprop options/tcp_listen = true
# svcadm restart svc:/system/webconsole
It's now been reported that NFS is not working either, a quick hunt through shows
nfsd 2049/udp nfs # NFS server daemon (clts)
nfsd 2049/tcp nfs # NFS server daemon (cots)
netstat -a | grep 2049 shows nothing.
So I was expecting to need to run something along the lines of
svccfg -s svc:/network/nfs/server setprop options/tcp_listen = true
Then restart nfs but I'm getting"svccfg: No such property group "options"."
Does anyone know the command to get nfs listening again?

You can use the webconsole from the same machine, so it's considered a security feature to deny remote hosts.
You can't really use an NFS server from the same machine at all. So there's no similar security feature. It's assumed if you don't want other machines to do NFS, you'll just disable the server.
Do you have valid shares in /etc/dfs/dfstab specified? Have you enabled (or restarted) the service after that? Does 'nfsd' appear as a running process?
There is a similar thing for the RPC server (service rpc/bind, which is required for NFSv3 to work) but the property name is "config/local_only", and a false value will allow it to be seen by remote servers.
