How to Enter Text in Report Painter
Dear Sap Guru's
I am new to Report Painter i want to add some text under the lead column and then i want to choose Characteristics which i had done but i am not getting any option to simply insert some text under the Lead column in between the Rows.Example.
Lead Column Period1 Period2 Period3
Current Account
5149107 20,000 10,000 5,000
5149106 2000 3000 40000
PRofit Center Account
254136 4000 2000 1000
254137 3000 2000 5000
Please let me know how to Enter Text : Current Account and Profit Center Account in the Report.

How to enter text in a TLF textfield through a softKeyboard? (touchscreen keyboard)
I can set the cursor but there is no text showing up after typing!
Any ideas?It's for the web, so basically every device Flash Player runs on.
Could be a touch-enabled or physical keyboard.

You can use read_text function module for readind text of material and store this value in internal table later pass this internal table to smartform will solve your problem.
otherwise there is direct option for text element property that is include text u can use that also

Text in Report Painter not displayed in the logon language.
Dear fiends,
I need change the language in the Report Painter, but i don't get translate the texts.
My logon logon language is Spanish but in the report painter the language is English.
In the transaccition GCRS the laguage is Spanish.
I copy these reports from client 000 and regenerate them but the lenguage remains the same.
I've also tried with GRRT transacction.
These are a standard report. My componet version is 4.6C
Can someone help me?

Can someone guide me, how to add a report painter report ZAL into a existing T-code?
My T-code contain 2 report, now i wish to add a new one. So when user execute this T-code, we can see these 3 report.

add the new report to the report group (T-code GR52) where the 2 already existing reports belong to.
In report painter you don't execute a report but always a report group including one or more reports.

AIf you are talking about planning members with a text data type then it is not possible to load the actual text string using a load rule,essbase just stores a numeric value and the text string relating to that numeric value is stored in the planning applications relational tables.

How to enter text into text box in Pages '09
When I manually select a text boxes in Pages, I can paste text into them. I can move from text box to text box using System Events to keystroke tabs but have not figured out how to get Applescript Editor to make the pastes. I am trying to use Applescript Editor to enter text into a pages document that is formatted for labels.
I have downloaded template U-0089-02_P.doc from Avery, 14 boxes displayed in two columns of seven rows.
Once you have clicked in the upper left box, the following script should enter text into every box, from left to right and top to bottom.

Account texts in Report painter
I created one report for more than one company code in report painter,
the format is
Account CoCode1 CoCode2 CoCode3 Total
XXXXX XXXXX XXXXX XXXXXX XXX
When i tried to run the report the descriptions of the Accounts are not visable instead its displaying Account no twice. I checked the report setting and every thing is right. Lead columns settings are set to display description
If i remove the CoCode2, CoCode3 columns and assign CoCode in Parameters section the descriptions are visiable, All the CoCodes share common COA.
Please help me on this.Already searched in threads.But nothing help me out.Quidacciolu,

How to copy code from Report Painter report?
Hi all,
I have a cost/commitment Report Painter report from Project Systems module. I need to include one more column with a field, Release indficator, from purchase order in the report. I am finding no way to do it through report painter and also am not able to copy the code of the exiting report painter report. Please advice.
