How to exclude Q-stock out of ATP?

i have one question that is, how to exclude Q-stock ( the stock in quality inspection status) out of ATP (like in T-code md04). Thanks a lot!

Hi,
If you want the stock to be excluded you should consider posting it to blocked stock instead of QI stock.
The system basicaklly makes the fiollowing assumptions.
If you post something to QI stock, the system assumes that you are simply checking it and the stock is LIKELY to be OK and so it classes QI stock as available.
If you post something into BLOCKED stock, the system assumes that you have discovered a problem with that stock and that it is LIKELY to be written off after checking and so it classes blocked stock as unavailable.
The suggestion to change the availability check is worth looking at, it can do what you are asking, but if you change this it does mean that the assumptions made in the system may be wrong. (not a major problem but not ideal either)

How To Hide In Stock/Out Of Stock System Wide?

Hi,
We are selling items that are setup as Bills of Material. The problem is that they always show as Not In Stock on the website. This is because the stock levels come from OITM (Items in B1) and for BoMs the matching item in B1 does not get a stock level. Since the item stock level is the one used in Web Tools, I would simply like to hide any warnings about items being 'Not In Stock' because it's not an accurate statement. I know the customer can still place an order but it might make someone change their mind about ordering an item if they 'think' it's not in stock.
Is there any system wide setting to hide all stock level indications and warnings about out of stock items?

Hello David,
This is possible, but it is a couple of steps:
1) In windows explorer navigate to c:\inetpub\wwwroot\b1webtools\catalog\controls\ and open up partpriceblock.ascx with a text editor such as note pad. You want to modify the following lines by putting comment marks around them like this (HTML comment marks are )
     
For the instock/out of stock and

To hide the inventory count.
2) You will also need to modify the cart.aspx page which can be found in c:\intepub\wwwroot\b1webtools\commerce\ like this:
                
3) And lastly the cartdetaillistblock.ascx control which can be found in the controls folder of the above stated directory. Modifying as shown below:

It should also be noted than an upgrade will overwrite these changes, but in the majority of situations you can reuse the modified ASPX/ASCX pages by overwriting the newer pages with the older modified pages.

Hi,
In transaction OMIR, choose your plant & then for the storage location you want to exclude from MRP enter 1 (exclude from MRP).
After this setting is maintained, whenever a material is created in this plant & storage location, it will have MRP indicator as "1" in the mrp 4 view .
For materials already in this storage location if the MRP indicator "1" is not maintained in mrp 4 view, please go for a mass change maintenance in the material master & maintain this indicator.
Stock in the excluded storage location will not add up to the stock which is displayed in the top in the md04 screen. This stock will be displayed separately in the bottom of the screen.
Please check same with MS04.

How to exclude stock of a particular storage type from collective availability check in MDVP.

you can set the storage location as 'Storage location stock excluded from MRP' value '1' in the field
Sloc MRP indicator , in MRP view $ when you enter a storage location accessing the material master.
Thsi is the only way to exclude the storage location, you have to do it per each material and also it is excluded from the MRP.
With this option the stock is not considered in ATP.
IF you need the storage location in the MRP, then you should consider the use of MRP Areas.
With the MRP Areas you define which plants/storage locations belong to each MRP area and the ATP is performed for eah area with the stocks that exist in each of them.

Exclude QA Stock in MD04/MRP Planning

Hi Guys:
I have 10000-Unrestricted , 2000 in Quality stock
when I check in MD04 Availble qty should show 10000 but it is showing 12000 in MD04.
I don't know unless i release QA stock to unrestricted it is not determined as good stock. I don't want to include QA stock into my MRP planning.
How to exclude that?

The quality inspection stock should be displayed in Transactions MD43, MD04 and the other MRP transactions.
The system behaves according to the documentation (Net requirement calculation):
The following stocks are grouped together to form plant stock:
- Unrestricted-use stock
- Stock in quality inspection
- Unrestricted-use consignment stock
- Consignment warehouse stock in quality inspection
In Customizing for MRP in the IMG activity Availability of Stock in Transfer/Blocked Stock/ Restricted Stock , you can also determine whether stock in transfer , blocked stock , and restricted-use stock are included in the plant.

Unfortunately, an option to exclude quality inspection stock does not exist
in the customizing.
In the stock requirement list (MD04) , stock in quality check is always considered as available and part of the available stock. Therefore it is considered in the ATP-check from Transaction MD04. The system here works as designed. Only if you are working with the QM-module and using inspection lots , these are not included in the available stock but considered regular entries.
A possible alternative is to create a singularly storage location for a special QI Stock, which is not available for MRP.

Hi all group members, I am working on BOXI R2. I have to ask that, How to exclude one or more than one member from the report. I know there is function of filter, through which we can see our desired members and other remaining will be excluded, but that's filter. In some of tools i have seen just do right click on a specific member and click on "Exclude" option to exclude the member. Suppose i have placed a Time dimension on the report and standing on "Month Level" which has data from 1, 2, ... 7,8, ... 11, 12 Now i just have to exclude member 7 from the report. If you run the report in "modify" mode, then you have two options
1) You can click on the "Show/Hide Filter Pane" button which opens up the "apply filter" pane. From there you go to your Data panel and grab, drag, and drop an item from the Data panel into the apply filter pane and provide a constant or select a value to filter in or out from your report.
2) You can highlight the column of data that you want to filter on, then click on the "Add Quick Filter" button. Using the List of Values menu you either select one or multiple items that you want to include in the report.

so with out using m.t.o. process how to reserve it against the customer.
for eg:
in the market when the customer/dealer/stockist coems to know that prices are going to increase
then obviously he tends to purchase in bulk quantities and reserve it in godown.
so how to map that process.

How to get block stock of QI and UR

Dear All,
             I have a requirement to create a customized report for Finished products stocks.
Selection screen:
   - Plant
   - S/Loc
   - material
   - month
   - year
Output has opening and closing balance, of stocks . I am fetching blocked stock from MARDH, (SPEME + RETME )
my problem now is is want to excluded block stock to QI (with movement type 349 and 350). Please suggest me as how to exclude material from movement type (349 & 350) from the total of MARDH (SPEME + RETME )

To make all types of calculations on stock I have a some methods posted previously,,
Please check the link once for calculating the stocks accordingly.

To Calculate Opening Stock & Closing stock there are different procedures.
It just depends of\n the client requirements & usage of the material.
For example, we have different types of stocks, like, Through Pipeline, Special, Unristricted, quality, safety,
and many types of stocks.... so all these types are indicated in MSEG tabe in SOBTZ field,...
Now Comimg to your Query, You need to calculate OPENING & CLOSING STOCK.
We have a similiar standard report in MB5B Tcode..
to get the same results in your report do like this...
For valuated stock go to the MARDH, MBEWH, MCHBH tables But I Prefer MBEWH.
here in MBEWH give the month & year and you get the result in LBKUM field...
For Special stock, You need to go to another table like MKOLH,,(I forgot still 2 more) and
give the month & year inputs and you will get the result in SLABS field.
and remaining MB5B refers to its deetails lists with different Movement types,
whcih you can get clearly from MSEG Table...
Hope you can write the select Queries accordingly.
If you want to find the Stock for a particluar date, It is not available in any table as I know,
Rather you need to do calculations like this.
1. Select the stock (Menge) till date from MSEG and add all with different movement types,
Its a logic need to ask to your functional consultant,
like 101 added to stock, 601 sales, 102 rejeted, 602 added back to stock,... transfers, 261,,, like this.
But take a little time, get all these by using MKPF & MSEG tables... thats it.
Or----
2.Tables are MSEG , MKPF ... use Debit / Credit indicator ( Do not go woth any static Movement types ) and u have to consider all stock related table
MBEW , EBEW etc..., to get the stcok on particular date .
Please refer to Std. Tcode FBL5N for reference.

Stock Out to Enable Split Valuation on Material

We need to activate split valuation on a particular material on one specific plant, in order to do so we must stock out from all st. locations and cancel all opened documents.
We did it !
In Stock report it shows zero stocks in the following plants and Storage locations.
we also checked MBEW and MARD Tables and the values are zero their.
However it still display errors:
Stocks already exist at plant level.

Currently I am in the process of compiling an intrastat report for our last three periods, as prior to this process, the report was being configured manually.
However, I need to know how to exclude a Non Stock Item - i.e. Transport Charges which our company has present in the Items List, but does not use to issues or receive goods.

the wizzard is nothing else than the combination of the customizing steps for Intrastat. The only thing you can do in the wizzard is to define the inclusion/exclusion indicators.
These are the indicators that you need to enter manually in ME21N to the item.
It does not matter if you start Intrastat slection from the ENGR cockpit transaction or directly with MEIS transaction, the same selection screen appears, and it does not allows you to exclude only certain items of a PO. you can only exclude the whole PO in the selection variant.
Please check again the 2 options I gave you earlier.

Well Stock can be Initially Uploaded in Two ways :
1 Make a goods Receipt with out Purchase Order Reference Using 501 Mov type. Just go to MIGO and Select Document A01 Goods Receipt and Reference Document as Others and Give Material and Other information and Save.
2 Else Use Special Transaction MB1C 561 mov type for Initially Upload Stock.
