How to export component user fields

I have two computers with Circuit Design Suite on which I work on designs depending on my location. I keep the user database synced between the two (I don't use corporate database) but when I enter information in the User Fields of my components from the Master database it does not follow from one computer to the other. Where is the component User Fields information stored for instances of things like standard resistors? How do I carry these with my designs? What if this information is different from design to design for components (both custom and standard)?

Clarification: I keep my user database synchronized between my two computers. Any custom parts that I make I place in my user database. When working on my designs they usually contains some custom parts from my user database and some standard parts (e.g. resistors, capacitors) from the master database. Once I have choosen the actual parts from Digi-Key I like to populate each of the component's user fields in the design with the part number and price information from my Digi-Key order.
Issue: This user field information carries through to both computers if the component is a custom component from my user database. If the component is a standard component from the master database the user fields information does not carry through to the other computer.
Question: How/Where does MultiSim store the component user fields information? How can I synchronize this information between my two computers?

2010 can be used with "get-distribution" but as our AD environment is 2003 is this correct also?
Finally once the data is exported to csv can it be edited to then reimport and udpate the existing group managed by fields with new values?
Not really sure that the best way to go about this is.
Summary - We have 2003 AD with Exchange 2010 and I am trying to export a list of all our Distribution/Security groups showing the group name and managedby values so we can edit and update the
existing managedby values with new ones. In some cases we have multiple users as the owners.

We can use the following command in Exchange 2010 to export "Managed by" field of Distribution and Security groups:
Get-DistributionGroup | Select-object Name,@{label="ManagedBy";expression={[string]::join(“;”,$_.managedby)}},Primarysmtpaddress | Export-Csv
C:\export.csv
After you changed the Managed by field in export.csv and saved it as a new file named import.csv, we can run the following command to set with new value:
Import-Csv C:\import.csv | Foreach-Object{ Set-DistributionGroup –Identity $_.Name –ManagedBy $_.ManagedBy}

How to make a User Field Read Only?

Hi,
How can i make a title userfield in a Document Form read only?
I can't set enabled to false i just want to make it read only.
I had tried to capture de key_down event on the user field, nothing happens!
I had tried to capture de form_key_down event on the user field... SAP throws the event without the item id reference.
Is there a work-around for this?

Hi,
1. capture et_click and click to another item, also save the original value to a variable
and/or
2. use et_validate with before_action = true to be sure the item hasnt changed and set bubbleevent
to false when the value is different from the variable

How to export custom metadata fields

How do I export custom metadata fields (or even the DATE) to a text or spreadsheet? Why does Aperture have dozens of metadata choices, but only allows a few to be exported?

You can try Automator which must be installed already in your computer. Create a new workflow, on the left pane select Aperture to see a list of actions, select "get selected items" and "extract metadata", and drag both to the right most pane. there you'll choose the Tag names to extract from the images already selected inside aperture and choose an output method, tabbed text should work fine for a spreadsheet. Hope it works.

If you want to export a user and the schema owned to the user, and import to the same user in a different database, or a different user in the same database, you can use the exp and imp commands as described in the Utilities manual.
These commands are very versatile and have a lot of options - well worth learning properly. To give you a simplistic shortcut, see below - I create a user 'test_move', create some objects in the schema, export, create a new user in the database 'new_move' and import.

There are many variations on the theme ...
You can simplify this. You can select tables individually. You can use a parameter file. You can transport all the constraints and data. You can skip the data and only move the definitions. You can get some help (imp/exp help=yes).
And, if it's all 10g, there is a new and improved facility called expdp/impdp (dp = data pump) which has a lot more capability as well, including direct transfer (no intermediate file) together with suspend/restart. Also documented in the Utilities manual.

How to get an user field in a sap form

I'm trying to get an user field in a sap form(651).
My code is:

Frmt is not nothing, but itm is ever nothing and gives me an exception(item not valid). If i go to sap and look at this form, with debugging info activated, i see:

UDF form is the negative sap form.

How to add custom user field in search result page

I want to display user defined field values in search users result page. For example, I am having USR_UDF_SSN user defined field. Now if i search users, the resultant table should display the default OOTB values (USER ID, FIRST NAME, LAST NAME, STATUS) and USR_UDF_SSN value.
We are using OIM 9.1.

You can't add this without having the source code. And on another note, i would highly suggest you DO NOT display a user's SSN unless you are in the HR system. These values should always be encrypted in OIM or you might have some bigger issues of private data being accessible.

How to export a user's Calendar Appointments in Powershell from Exchange Server

1. Is it possible to retrieve all calendar appointments for a particular user from the on-premise exchange servers using powershell?
2. If item 1 is possible, can we track a user appointment - meaning that if someone where to delete the appointment the report can show us who deleted the appointment by using powershell to generate this report?

Base on my knowledge, I don't think it is possible.
However, as a workaround, you can use powershell to recover all deleted items in a particular user:

In addition, I recommend you post this in Powershell Forum

How to migrate custom user attributes (UDF) from test environment to production when a sandbox is published

Hi all,
I like to migrate custom attributes from test environment to my production environment. I read OIM documentation and i tried to fallow these steps but I cannot export sandbox and import it because all sandboxes are published in the test environment.
I exported and imported users metadata by deployment manager only. Now, all migrated attributes are in the OIM DB but I do not see these attributes in Administration Console.
How can i solve this issue? Is it possible to export published sandbox and import it in the other environment?

In OIM 11g R2 you need to export sandbox before publishing sandbox for custom user fields from DEV or TEST environment.
Then import exported sandbox in the another environment.
If you didn't exported custom user fields sandbox from your TEST or DEV in that case you need to create those again in another environment manually. There is no other option for this in OIM 11g R2.

You need to setup your Oracle Database use character set that support Chinesre Character. For example a unicode character set AL16UTF16.

Import User Fields

I am moving my Multisim 10 project to another workstation and am having trouble getting the User Fields to transfer to the new workstation. I found the corporate database that the user fields information is supposed to be stored in and tried to import it on the new workstation. Does anyone know how to get the User Fields for parts in the master database to another computer?

I found my problem. I needed to close both Ultiboard and Multisim for the changes to take place.

Our apex env finally getting a upgrade from 3.1.1 to 4.1.1 (I know, it's been overdue for years)
Some of our apps use 'Application Express' authentication, and have few hundreds users in Apex (and users belong to diff user groups).
The issue is, the 4.1.1 env is set up on a brand new server and DB, we want to migrate these users with their existing passwords from the 3.1.1 env.
I tried exporting the workspace, and the users are exported as below,
