How to export to CSV a query that have a link column

Hi there,
I have in my Apex page a table that displays the results of a query.
I've set both of its columns as link in the report attributes.
My problem is that when I export my table to a CSV file, both the column doesn't appear in the Excel instance generated.
Another thing I noticed is that if I set the value of the "Include in Export" for my column to "Yes" and then Apply the changes, this value is not really set and when I come back in the "Column Attributes" page, the value for the "Inlcude in Export" field is still "No"...
Can somebody help ?
Thanks

Hello,
I've found a solution... Which seems to me like bypassing a bug. Or there's something I didn't catched!
In fact, if I navigate to the "Print Attributes" tab of my region containing my query, I also can check an "Include in export" checkbox for the link column.
And if I do so, my column appears in my csv export...
Be careful to not go back to the "Report Attributes" to change the lnik parameters. If so, you mouold have to go back to the "Print Attributes" tab to recheck the option...
Hope it will help.

Please help me It is drivng me crazy having all these contacts

Go to SETTINGS, then ACCOUNTS AND SYNC select facebook and uncheck sync contacts and then do the same for yahoo.
back up contacts w/ backup assistant that is under accounts and sync.
then go back to SETTINGS then APPLICATIONS then MANAGER APPLICATIONS then ALL select PEOPLE then clear data. this will erase your contacts so make sure you have it backed up.
then go to SETTINGS then ACCOUNTS and SYNC then backup assistant and sync now and this should put all your contacts back on your phone without being relinked to facebook or yahoo at least i remember it being something like this when i was trying to get rid of facebook being linked to my contacts on my Tbolt.

  • I have finally figured out how to export an iphoto album so that I can maintain the proper order of the photos after burning the file. How do I keep each individual photo title and description after exporting and burning?

I have finally figured out how to export an iphoto album so that I can maintain the proper order of the photos after burning the file. How do I keep each individual photo title and description after exporting and burning?  Presently after exporting and burning each photo is identified by the file name rather than each individual title description.

File name and Title are not the same thing.
Filename is attached to the Jpeg file in the Finder.
Title is attached to the photo within the Jpeg file - as is the description. These are written to the Exif and IPTC metadata on export.
So: File -> Export. Kind: Jpeg or Tiff and Check the box at 'Title and Keywords'. This will write the Title, keywords and descriptions (though not explicitly stated) to the metadata. This can then be viewed in any app that understand this material.
You can choose, if you wish, to also use the Title as a Filename - that's an option at File Name

  • How can I use TopLink for querys that have two and more tables?

I use TopLink today, and I can use one table to query, but how can I use TopLink for querys that have two and more tables?
Thank you for see and answer this question.

You can write a custom SQL query and map it to an object as needed. You can also use the Toplink query language "anyOf" or "get" commands to map two tables as long as you map them as one to one (get command) or one to many (anyOf command) in the toplink mapping workbench.

How to export iPhoto Album in iMAC and have similar folder structure(with Timestamps) which can be viewed in finder
In simple terms, I wanted to view the photos in Windows system, similar strcture of iPhotos

If you want to copy all of your photos to a Windows machine and have them in folders representing the iPhoto Events the were in quickly and easily just do the following:
1  - open the library with the Finder as shown in this screenshot:
2 - COPY the Originals/Masters folder to the Desktop.
3 - copy the Originals/Masters folder to the Windows machine.
This will give you all of your original image file in their Event folder on the Windows machine.
NOTE:  With iPhoto 8 or newer the Event folders in the Masters folder will be titled by date (EXIF) if imported from a camera.  If imported from a folder the event folder will have the same title as the source folder.  If imported singularly or in a group without a folder the title will be a date, either the EXIF date or import date.
With iPhoto 7 (08) and earlier the Event folders in the Originals folder will have the same title as the Event has in the library.
This method would be quicker but not provide the additional metadata you might have added in iPhoto like keywords, titles, descriptions that exporting out of iPhoto with Format=JPEG and the checkboxes selected to include keywords, titles, places, etc, checked.

Are you signed into itunes with your email address?  Purchases that are made through itunes are tied to the email address on your account.  If someone else logged in then your purchases wouldn't show.
When you go to the itunes store look at the black/gray bar at the top.  On the left is the email address that is signed in.  If it's incorrect just click on it and select "Sign Out."  When you sign back in all should be well.

For large XML's, you can speed up the processing of XMLTABLE by using a registered schema...

  • About in tears, how to export project to a DVD that will play?

I have tried everything (except the right thing, I'm sure). I have an 8 minute project that I NEED on DVD for a standard DVD player in four days, and I can not figure it out. Do I need Encore for this? Can I do it without it? Any clues for me? I have tried saving it as a windows file, real player, Adobe Flash etc. I have tried exporting->movie and then burning that. I have tried converting the .avi format to .ifo in some software I found online. Why isn't there just a "burn" button like in my other cheasy movie editting software?
    Please, please help,
    Sarah

"That is unless you are using a trial version. None of the trials support anything to do with MPEG-2 video, which includes DVD export."
Wow, that never even crossed my mind. The only thing that was holding me back from purchasing the software was the one thing not offered by the trial software. I just purchased the full version and had it over-nighted. I can't thank you enough for your responses!

  • Query SQL code gets deleted after export to Excel. "Query must have at least one destination field"

    Hi all,
I'm getting really frustrated by this Access error. It happens when I export the result of a query through an Access macro to Excel, the first time it runs well but the next time, there is a chance that the query won't run and the error "Query
must have at least one destination field" will be displayed. After that, I try to check the query SQL code and discover the code has vanished. I'm using simple Select query without joins, only "where", "group by" and "order by"
    statements.
Thank you in advance for your help,
    Jesus
    Edit:
One of these queries are like the following (all of them are of this type):
    SELECT Field1, field2, field3, field4, field5, Sum(Field6) AS SumOfField6, Sum(Field7) AS SumOfField7
    FROM Table1
    WHERE Field6 is not null
    GROUP BY Field1, field2, field3, field4, field5
    Order By Sum(Field6) desc

    Hi Peter,
Thank you for your response, I updated the original question with one of the codes.
    Thanks,

I want to do a query that list books info (Date published, name, category, etc). The part I can't figure out is how would I create an HTML link on the "Name?" The website is on a separate server (i.e. http://mybookstore.com). The links are in the table with the Name and category.
I would like to use PL/SQL or Java (but prefer PL/SQL).
    Any help would be appreciated.

  • How can i remove items from list that have been deleted when i click on them it keeps showing empty

how can i remove items from the list that have been deleted when i click on them it keeps showing folder empty

Actually, Reader SHOULD keep showing documents that no longer exist, I disagree. It's no big deal, and people will quickly realise why they can't open the file. They open more files, the old ones move off.
The REASON why it should not check is that checking whether a file exists can take a long time when things aren't good. For instance if a file server goes down, or a memory card is unplugged. That in turn would mean delays opening the File menu, and I've seen some software that can sit there for several minutes. That would really give people something of which to complain...

  • How do you use an entity bea that uses an identity column?

I am using an mssql database. I need to create an entity bean for a table that uses an identity column. I want to use the identity column as the Primary key in the entity bean.
I assumed that I should not pass in a paramter for the identity column into the create method of the Home interface or the create method of the Bean ejbCreate method. But when I try using the entitity bean to create a new row in the table I get the following error.

I didn't think I was doing anything to explicitly insert anything into the identity column.
