How to fail a message based on payload?

Hi Experts,
Currently Iu2019m working on IDOC2JDBC scenario wherein the customer master details needs to be send from CRM system to Oracle system. My question is there are two fields at source side Postal code and Tax and my requirement is, if any of these two fields are initial (doesn't contain any value) then the message should fail in XI? I mean the message shouldn't go to Target system. Can I achieve this functionality in XI or at R/3 side? If yes please let me know the method or procedure by which the above functionality can be achieved? Do I need to fail the message at mapping level?

These are two different things - do you want the message to fail in PI or you don't want to create the target message if the condition fails?
If you want the message to fail in PI - write an UDF and can raise an exception / create email notifications.
If you don't want to create the target structure, you can use "if-else" condition / UDF / createif function.

I too agree with Abhishek. If the hold time is more in XI (message) then the message will be timed out.
The work around for this to have a Availability time check to pick the files.

Let the mapping do its job of filling the error table as usual. Just make sure that this session doesn't have any other target than this error table (otherwise things become a bit more complicated, but really only a bit).After this session set up one output path to the remainder of the workflow (meaning all those tasks which shall be executed when no error occurred). The workflow link to these tasks has to be edited in order to have a condition like this: $s_m_find_errors.TgtSuccessRows = 0(please don't nail me down on the exact syntax) From the same session set up a workflow link to a Control task set to "Fail workflow".The workflow link to this Control task has a condition like this: $s_m_find_errors.TgtSuccessRows > 0(again, please don't nail me down on the exact syntax) If the session needs to fill more than one target table, you can proceed almost the same way as depicted above. The only difference is that the workflow link conditions must be changed such that they check whether this particular error table has received 0 or >0 records. Splitting large message (60MB) based on payload data

I have a file (Flat) to file (xml) scenario. The source flat file is being read by FCC. Since the source flat file is large (upto 60MB) so I have to split it into small files then I have applied "recordset per messages" in FCC level to split large file into small ones. But the clients requirement is to split the large document based on payload data (that is DeliveryDate). That means I cannt split the message based on number of rows of flat file instead I have to split the file on the basis of DeliveryDate so that after splitting into small files, each small file should contain data for exactly one date (say in one file data for 15th NOV and in another file data for 16NOV and so on).
Please suggest some solution to split the large file (60MB) based on payload data(DeliveryDate).

in this case split the message in to different messages like 2 mb file,
XI doesn't support 60 mb files, U have to split the flat files based one some condition.
i have same requirement flat file having huge data i split that data using java map.]
then i processed its work fine for me.
I think u can also do it,
But in my case i divided message based on sequence number uniquenumber to diffentiate data.
if there is any sequence number split the message .

I developed a message based interface by myself, but I have no experience of developing instrument drivers with Labwindow/CVI. I want to know which commands will be sent to the instruments when power up? It's very strange that when I plug in my instrument, the light of Access of resource mamager keep on lighted and the HP-VISA Assistant can't recoganize all the instruments in the mainfram. I want to know how to let my instrument be recoganized by system. Thank you very much!

What is the VXI controller for your system? What VXI driver is running on the system? You mention HP-VISA, is your VXI controller and driver from HP or Agilent? If so, you will need to contact them on how to get your instrument recognized and working in the system.
To write your instrument driver, I would recommend using VISA commands. Message based instruments have sets of specific commands that they respond to. Generally, one would have to look in the documentation for that instrument to determine the instruments commands.

1.Try some sample code of simpler ways of communicating with the board. There are some good example that you can search for on the NI webpage. Here are some links for examples in LabVIEW and C for performing message based reads and writes using viIn and viOut. It's not exactly the same, but it is very very similar.

Go to SXI_MONITOR and go to the advanced selection tab.
In that, give the message id and click on execute button or press F8.
Then docuble click on the message that you get in the report.
In the screen that follows, you need navigate to the payload section of the tree diagram that is there on the left hand side of the screen.
If the logging is set for your system, then u can see the payload there.

How to create a report based on a DataSet programatically

I'm working on a CR 2008 Add-in.
Usage of this add-in is: Let the user choose from a list of predefined datasets, and create a totally empty report with this dataset attached to is. So the user can create a report based on this dataset.
I have a dataset in memory, and want to create a new report in cr2008.
The new report is a blank report (with no connection information).
If I set the ReportDocument.SetDataSource(Dataset dataSet) property, I get the error:
The report has no tables.
So I must programmatically define the table definition in my blank report.

ClientServerException exception:Software component version 58a66500336b11dd8387f3c70a53b4e5 has not yet been imported into the system and therefore cannot yet be assembled using CMS. You must execute a CMS- or file-based import of the software component version into the consolidation system first.
The error is saying that there might a communication issue with CBS to CMS. That's the reson the imported SCA version is not available in the current system to assemble. The NWDI restart may work some times.

How to split the messages in the mapping

Hi Gurus,
I need to split the message into two XML message based on the value in the plant and sent it to two receivers.
How to do using Graphical mapping.
Im working in PI7.0. I dont know how to use the enhanced receiver determination. PL guide me.

2.In the mapping editor, switch to the Messages tab page
3.Specify the same target message type 2 time by choosing +
4.Switch to the Design tab page

Finally Create an interface mapping and reference the both target interfaces in target interfaces. Enter your message mapping in the interface mapping.(1--source Interface and 2 target Interfaces)
In ID, Interface determination choose Enhanced radio button and under inbound interfaces add both the target Interfaces

How to change the message in CUCM 7.0 " Your Current Options"

Dear All
can any body help me or assist me to type my own message at the botom of the phones by default its your current options but i tried to much to change it or find any way to change and i failed.
in Call Manager express it was easy to change just at the cli you type "system message Hello this is your IP Phone" but at the CUCM 7.0 i dont know how to change this and solve this problem so can any body tell me how to change this message please its needed 100% for me

You cannot change it, in CCM it was possible due to it being Windows and you had access to all the files.
CUCM does not grant access to the necessary files for this unless you have root access and it's not granted for purposes other than troubleshooting or to apply a workaround from a bug.

Where i am passing xmlInput which is a char*.
Things work fine.
I need to send back exact error message to client to debug the messages.
How to fetch the messages, line number etc.
By seing docs i wont be able to figure it out.
Can any one send piece of code to fetch the error messages.
