  • How to fast forward an appearing animation?

    Hey there!
I want to know how to fast forward an animation in keynote. I want to make footsteps appear one by one faster. In the order i used start after previous build, delay 0s, but it's still too slow.
    Thank you for your answers

Use an effect that has a duration setting; as an example the dissolve effect can be as short as 0.1 of a second:
Inspector > Animate > Build In > Add an Effect

  • How to fast-forward & select preferences

Simple questions, I know, but using (free) Quick Time player playing videos, how do you fast-forward? The >>> choices jump a few frames at a time, I'd like to Fast-forward.
Where do I set preferences for the Quick Time player?

QuickTime Player / Windows menu / A/V Controls has some options to help.
Player preferences are found under the "Edit" menu on a PC.

  • How to fast forward in a RAM preview?

I'm making a somewhat long video presentation, and I need to RAM preview  quite frequently to make sure my audio is trimmed correctly. Is there  any way to fast forward in the RAM previews, or rather, is there a way  to only RAM preview 1 clip? I might loose my mind if I hear the same  things 1000 times.

Enable the "From current time" option in the Time/playback panel and/ or set the work area.

  • How to fast forward or do time search w/ Twonky & WRT1900AC?

Previously I was using Serviio on computers to share media to my tv. I also tried external storage attached to a Netgear R6100. In both setups I was able to fast forward videos or (even better) jump to a specific time in the video. This is seemingly not possible with Twonky. I attached the external drive to the Linksys and it appears on the tv fine. All the files are there. Playback is no problem (really snappy too). It just won't fast forward or do time search. I don't even think it pauses. Is there a way to either configure, update or replace Twonky? I'll have to get a different router if this can't be resolved.

Try to use Serviio and check if it will work. I think this router is not exclusive just with twonky so it's worth a try.

Thanks PB. Can you please tell me how many folders you can have on the Nano Plus ( I thought I read it was only 3). Further, how do you put your songs into folders in the first place? I guess you do it through the Creative Media Organizer, but I'm not sure. Also, are the songs you put into a folder still included in the normal play format or will they just be in the specific folder? Is the normal play format also called the root? If not, what is the root? Thanks for the help and thanks for the forum. It has provided answers to problems that I've been trying to figure out for days.

  • How can I fast forward in Podcast?

I want to know how to fast forward in a podcast?  I can hold down the fast forward button and it goes a few seconds and I can rewind for a few seconds.  However I want to fast forward minutes.
Any suggestions?  I see in the manual on page 62 about podcast and audiobook controlls but I don't have playback speed or a skip to any point in the timeline.

To skip to any point on the timeline, drag the playhead along the scrubber bar.  While dragging, slide your finger down to slowdown the scrub rate.

  • Problem with fast forward of trackball in media player of 8330

I'm a fairly new BB owner of a Sprint 8330 Curve.  I've checked the newbies site on Crackberry and checked here also.  Can anyone help with this problem:
I've downloaded some MP3 audiobooks from my local public library.  They play fine, but the problem is that it always starts at the beginning every time.  The book is in multiple parts, each of which is 60 minutes long, each of which is treated as a single song.  I can see the reverse, pause, and fast forward buttons but I can't get the trackball to work with them.
When I scroll the trackball to the right to fast forward, it scrolls to the next part of the book, not within the same part (song).  When I scroll the trackball left, it goes back to the last song.  When I scroll it up or down, the whole playlist shows up on the screen and I can scroll through those.
I found one post that talked about how to fast forward video, but it showed a different screen that mine.
I just can't get the trackball to position itself on the progress bar or on the controls.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
    Thanks.

I've got the same problem with my BlackBerry 8330.  I have v4.5.0.169 (Platform 3.4.0.51). Once i start an audio file, I am unable to select the scroll bar above the play so that I can fast forward through the song, book, etc.

  • The online flash player doesn't let me fast forward

    - I'm using windows 8, 64-bit
    - I'm using Google Chrome as a default browser
    - Tried all other browsers including IE, Firefox, Opera and safari, and all of them had the same problem
THE PROBLEM IS: The online flash player doesn't let me fast forward %70 of all movies on the same websites that used to be working fine before, beside that, everytime i try to fast forward it keeps rewinding to the beginning of the video, I tried uninstalling flash player from control panel and reinstalling it, restarting my pc and uninstalling chrome and reinstalling it too, but nothing.

Please don't post the same question multiple times!

  • Fast forward shared movies

How can I rapidly move to a point in a long title (e.g. movie) and restart playback?
This is especially important for shared videos as the fast forward using the remote stalls after a couple of minutes of playback due to starvation of the streamed video.
If I want to stop playback and restart at, say 45 minutes in, it can take 10 minutes using the remote to get there.
    Any suggestions?
MacBook Pro, intel iMac   Mac OS X (10.4.7)

If you press rewind or fast forward once, the film will jump to the previous or next chapter, depending on which direction you want to go.
If you press and hold the FF or Rewind button on your remote, the blue bar at the bottom of the screen pops up with an arrow in the left hand corner showing the direction of search < or > (Rewind = <, FF = >) if you then press and hold Rewind or FF again during the search, you will get << or >> or press and hold again you get <<< or >>> and the search will quicken accordingly to the amount of arrows showing in the left hand edge of the blue bar. When you reach the part you want to view from hit the play button on your remote again and the film will continue from that point.
    Hope that helps :o)

  • Cannot fast forward in music video mode.  How can I accomplish this

Cannot fast forward in music video mode.  How can I accomplish this.  Cannot rewind either.  Am I missing something?  If I change the Music Video to TV Show or Movie can both rewind or fast forward.   For now all concert videos are in Movies, which might be the right place for them, but kinda weird Itunes does this.

I am by no mean an expert and I'm sure there are easier ways to accomplish this... however one way is to do something like this:
-Use selection tool to select all blue background, soften the edges of the selection then delete the selection.
-Here you will have a white background and dull looking image with not the greatest edges.
-Zoom waaaay in and use a softer eraser brush on the edges.
-Use various sharpening, brightening, white levels adjustments to make your image prettier.
-Pay attention to the diamond, select the diamond with a selector tool and sharpen, etc. Consider adding a layer to add additional detail to just the diamond.
-Consider using the clone stamp to smooth out any markings on the silver tone band.
