How to find dependent requirements

I have materials (components) of other higher level materials (or finished goods).
I can find the requirements of finished goods from PBIM and PBED tables (by linking them based on pointers), but I want to find the requirments for components. Please tell me how to get the requirments of constituent components from a table, or is there any function module for this?

1. For the planned order - linke the table PLAF & RESB with RSNUM and the planned order number - you will get the details of the reservation of the components
2. For the prodcution order - Link the table AFKO & RESB with order number and the rsnum ( reservation number ) .
This will help you to get the component detaisl

Pegged Requirements for the PR's Generated after MRP Run

    Hi Archie,
We can find out the list of dependent requirements from RESB table.
We can pass the pegged requirements in RESB and fetch the dependent requirements and purchase requistions created for the same.
The Planned orders within a particular period can be fetched through table PLAF and the same can be given in RESB and fetch dependent and purchase requisitions.
If you feel my answer is clear and useful, kindly award me with points.

  • HOW TO FIND THE REQUIRED DELIVERY DATE IN VA02

    hi
HOW TO FIND THE REQUIRED DELIVERY DATE IN VA02.
i want to display this field in my report. what is the fieldname and in which table it is ?

    Hi Jyothsna,
There are 2 dates when you say Requested Delivery Date
    1.  Header level in VBAK-VDATU is the field
    2.  At item level it is in the schedule line. VBEP-EDATU.
The relationship between item (VBAP ) and schedule line ( VBEP )is 1 to many. But there will be mutiple schedule lines only if you are using the scheduling functionality. Also note to check for confirmed quantity (VBEP-BMENG) to be greater than 0 and use that schedule lines EDATU date as Requested delivery date.

  • How to find dependent tables

    hi,
I need a way to find dependent tables of a table (through code I mean). That is I need to know if a table's primary key is referenced from another table as a foreign key.
    Thanks in advance,
    teo

Use USER_CONSTRAINTS dictionary view. For example table T references by
foreign key to T1 and T2 tables:
    SQL> select a.owner,a.table_name,b.owner primary_owner,b.table_name primary_table
      2  from user_constraints a, user_constraints b
      3  where a.table_name = 'T' and a.r_constraint_name = b.constraint_name
      4  /
    OWNER      TABLE_NAME PRIMARY_OW PRIMARY_TA
    SCOTT      T          SCOTT      T2
    SCOTT      T          SCOTT      T1Rgds.

  • How to find the required Data Source??

I have identified the requirement of Infocube 0CCA_C11..now how do I find the associated DataSource for the dataelements of the cube. Really appriciate all the help

    Claudia,
There are a number of Datasources you could use. You could start with the infosource level. Explore Business Content. Ex:
    0CO_OM_CCA_9
    0CO_OM_CCA_1
It depends totally on your requirement: what fields you want, whether you delta functionality or not etc..
Importantly, whether you want actual costs, plan, commitments or budget.

  • Find dependency on Packaged Function

    Hi All
I want to find dependencies on packaged function. i.e. the objects that depend on packaged procedure.
let say we have a package P1 and it has 3 Functions F1,F2,F3. I want to find what all other objects (package or procedure or function) depend on P1.F1.
I know how to find dependency on Package as a whole but dont know how to find dependency on packaged function only.
I also know as a work around i can search in all_source table and find in the reference to P1.F1 and get that.
But is their any other way anyone else might have used to find package function dependency?
    Thanks

A package is considered as a single object, so no breakdown of functions I'm afraid.
That said, if this is something you need on daily basis, you could write a helper function using your mentioned workaround, doing the breakdown for you. Then you could even integrate that in sqldev's IDE through a user defined XML extension...
    Have fun,
    K.

  • Dependent requirement grouping in SCM Product heuristic

    Hi,
    How to group dependent requirement?
Example - SFG (Semifinished) order created with Lot size =1
dependent demand created  - for child part with lot = 1
Purchase requisition created for child part with lot size >1 (periodic lot size)
are any method to aggregate dependent requirent?
    Regards
    lav Mishra

    Hi Lav Mishra,
Other method to aggregate dependent requirement is to have minimum
    and maximum lot size.
When you are using period lot size, you need to put check against
"start of lot size grouping" indicator in procedure tab of Lotsize
    in material master of APO

  • How to find number for registering iLife11?

I've just bought iLife 11 and wants to register. Has to provide a number towards the end of the registration process. I tried the Part no. - the number below the barcode (7 digits) and the number o the barcode but none of them can be approved...
Any idea on how to find the required number?

Don't want to insult you but this is a typical Microsoft reply, probably true but totally useless. What the hec is the marketing number on the sticker?
There is a partno (not accepted), a number under the barcode which seems to consist of four different parts, and a fat-printed code starting off with "AKP". Whichone is the correct one?
Thanks in advance for your reply.

  • How to find the exact user exit for our requirement?

    Dear Mr. keerthi,
can you please explain me how to find the exact user exit for our requirement?

    Hi sandip
There is more than one method in which you can check for user-exits.The following method is used very often.
<b>How to find the exact user-exit for your requirement.</b>
    1.     You can check the user exists using transaction SE85.
    2.     Repository Information System -> Enhancements -> Customer exits
    3.     You can search the user-exits by package name.
    4.     Double click on each exit name to check the function module exits.
<b>The procedure to find the package name.</b>
    Execute transaction SE93
Enter the tcode of the transaction for which you want to check the user exit.
Example: if you want to find the user-exit for purchase orders while changing, enter ME22n  and press display.
You will get to see the package name
But you need to confirm that the user exit will get triggered at the appropriate event.
( example: you might want some validations to be done ON SAVE of a purchase order)
<b>Checking if the user-exit is getting triggered or not.</b>
    1.     Open the user exit function module (that you have got in step 4) in Tcode SE37.
    2.     Click on where used button. In the pop up that immediately appears choose only programs .
    3.     You will get a list of programs. Double click on the program name.
    4.     You will get the list of location where this function module user exit is used.
    5.     Place session break points at each of these location ( at each CALL FUNCTION statement)
    6.     Now go to your transaction ( say change purchase order tcode:Me22n) and check if the user exit is getting triggered on appropriate event.
    regards,
    Prasad

  • How to find out the idoc type required for our requirement

    Hi,
How to find out the list of available idoc type in SAP. It will be good if i get to know the table name where all the idoc type definitions are gets stored.
Say i have some requirement and for that requirement how i can find the proper idoc type to be used. (assume functional consultant is not providing that information)
Points will be given for the useful answers
    Thanks,
    Prasanna

    Hi prasanna,
we can get SAP idoc types in tcode we31.For every requirment there will be different message type.
For example we want idoc type for account invoice receipt.
First find out message type for that purpose which can be found in we81-ACC_INVOICE_RECEIPT.
Get this message type and search in we82  where we can find message type and idoc type linkage.
    try this way.
    Reward if it is usful.
    Thanks,

  • MRP: how to segregate the planned orders by dependent requirements

    Hello SAP Guru's,
I would like to know if this is possible to make the MRP work is this way:
    - generate global planned orders (by date) for several dependent requirements, for inhouse production;
    - AND generate individual planned orders for each dependent requirement, for external procurement;
For the moment, it is grouping the quantities of all the dependent requirements to generate a unique planned order by date.
But we would like to get separate planned orders for each dependent requirements that are externally procured.
Do you think it is possible to do so? and if yes, how?
Thanks in advance for your help on this subject.
    Regards,
    Rudy

In MD04 the demand n supply that is seen is considered as plant segment. In some cases when you plan demand n supply for a given storage location separately it is called as SLoc segment, also if you're working with MRP areas then its called mrp area segment, likewise for project & sales order.
In short it is just a way MRP would do its planning. In normal cases, the demand n supply is in plant segment, so in this segment the least resolution that you can work with is a day, so all demand on a given day is clubbed together and a supply proposal is made (depending on the lot size).
If you want further split on a given day, then MRP needs some way to identify the difference & this is provided by the special stock segment such as project segment. To see how it works, if you're working with PS module, ask your PS colleague to create a demand for the material from different projects for a given day. Then in MD04 you will see each project demand show up in different segment & when you run MRP, you will see the results.
I guess more than me writing quite a lot out here, a simple test at your end should help clarify... good luck
