How to find expected GPIB address in Labview program

I have inherited some Labview test programs without documentation.
How do I find the expected GPIB address in a program?
I found this for VISA USB to GPIB in the program: USBO::0x0957::0x0618
which is 2107 and 2025 in decimal and I don't know what that means.

I am trying to enable Dashboard. It is asking for B1i Server address. I have tried "http://127.0.0.1:8080/B1iXcellerator/exec/ipo/vP.001sap0004.in_HCSX/com.sap.b1i.vplatform.runtime/INB_HT_CALL_SYNC_XPT/INB_HT_CALL_SYNC_XPT.ipo/proc" but it gave me an error message that it is unable to connect. Abdul,
Instead of using 127.0.0.1 ... try using either the actual B1i Servers IP address or the name of the machine. You can also review the B1iC troubleshooting guide here ...

Query the concurrent program in Sysadmin responsibility.
Note the concurrent executable.
Query the concurrent executable in Sysadmin.
Note the file name.
If it is a package, open the package in TOAD and note down the file name.
If it is a report/form, open it in form developer and note down the file name.
Go to patch find screen in metalink. In the advanced search screen, enter the file name and you will see patches that contain it.

How to find/add new libraries in LabVIEW

I am very new with LabVIEW and I am using version 6.0. I am trying to follow the tutorials but I cannot find some of the mentioned libraries. For example, the signal generation library (1SIGGEN.LLB) is missing. I would appreciate if one could tell me how to find and add missing libraries. Thanks.

I don't know if the specific library you mentioned is one of them, but many of those types of libraries are not included with the Basic Version of LV. That could be your problem. If you have the Full or Professional Development version, the libraries should have installed when you installed LV.

How to find my subVI in my labview project?

Hi, friends.
As the title, how to find all my subVIs used in one project? Because if I want to change the connector of a VI, I must find out all the VIs in my project, and replace them one by one. Is there any better way to do that? Could you give me some suggestions?

Rather than searching, the easiest way to do this is to let the LabVIEW compiler do the work for you. Open the top-level VI(s). Then, open your subVI. Make the change to your connector pane. Bang. The top-level VI(s) will show a broken run arrow. Click on the browen run arrow, and it will tell you the list of broken VIs. The ones that have a red "x" mark at the beginning are the ones that directly use your VI. At that point you can open their block diagrams and select "Relink" to relink to your new connector pane.

If you need to know the host name, then something says me that your code is already not portable :)
No, it is not possible. Not without nasty stuff or lookups. Why do you need to know about it then? It sounds like if you want to set some host-specific settings. You can better use the init-param in web.xml or configuration files for this than hardwiring it in Java source code.

How to find the base address of a pci device in register programming?

I am making a register program to pci-7344.

It says BAR0 is assigned to the miniMITE ASIC,while BAR1 is used to program the PCI device itself.So the address mapped from BAR0 is
supposed to be the base-address of the registers on the miniMITE,but why 0x300 is added to the base-address? What 0x300 means?
I wonder if the address mapped from the BAR1 is not the valid baseadress for the pci board and a initial offset should be added to
it.If so what is the initial offset?

I am developing pci-7344`s driver under venturecom`s rtx,now I have found the baseadresses[0] and baseadresses[1] . baseaddresses[0] is the base-address of the miniMITE and I can get the vendor ID, device ID by directly reading from baseaddresses[0] +offset,but baseaddresses[1] does not like to be the base address of the 7344 registers,because I can not get the correct status information when I read from the csr(baseaddresses[1]+0x04)(all the value read back is 1).According to your advice I add the following codes to the program.

It says in ddk that the csr(a read-only register) is located at cardlogicaddress+4(8byte offset),so I wonder what the cardlogicaddress is . What is relationship between baseaddresses[1] and cardlogicaddress?

Your question is too vague since you give no information as to this third party application. Is it an application you wrote? Is it an application that you cannot change? Does it have a programming interface? Can you eliminate this third-party application and control the photon counter yourself? In SE71 and follow the menu
FORM->CHECK->Text
There u will get the print program name .
Using print program name and form name as input in TNAPR u can get the output type.
Follow the above procedure u will get the required details.
