Your question is too vague since you give no information as to this third party application. Is it an application you wrote? Is it an application that you cannot change? Does it have a programming interface? Can you eliminate this third-party application and control the photon counter yourself? My wife has been having problems with Safari, and many third party software and malware programs infecting her Mac Book Pro. I have tried to reset Safari but it keeps coming back, taking over Safari, changing defaults, start pages, and search engines, Etc.
Is it safe to use programs like MacKeeper, who keeps send my wife's computer message and alerts, or should I just wipe the drive and start over?

if I remember right, it is enough, if you put the .jar of the api in the lib/ directory of your project (<WTK>/apps/<yourProject>/lib/ )

How to use third party plugin with FCP, I'm lost...

Hello,
I need informations about how to use plugins with FCP.
I do edit mostly classical concerts. I'd like to do basic audio post prod, without swaping between Soundtrack and FCP.
I need two simple things : add reverb (the built in reverb is really bad), and enhancer. So I looked for specialised third party audio plugins, but I couldn't manage to find something that work for me...
- Do FCP support VST plugins ? How to install them ?
- I tried a few audio units plugins. It works, but I couldn't get a friendly visual interface, like VST effects racks. Is it possible in FCP ?
- does anybody know a good reverb plugin with a friendly interface compatible with FCP ?
Please help, I'm lost !

What you NEED is a better recordist at the concert, someone who understands the peculiarities of your specific video deliver plans.
Soundtrack Pro is right up there with Motion in its impossible-to-understand interface paradigm shift away from industry standard tools. However, if you are in the position of being a sound editor, you must find a tool that works for you. STP might not be the one, certainly isn't for me. You could always try Logic. Yeah, good luck with THAT.

i am new to vc++ and InDesign, i am using windows xp as OS and Indesign CS3 as version
now my work is to access the Third Party plugin styles, the third Pary plugin is all about InMath, that is all for mathematical relations using inmath plugin styles, my work is to accessing the styles through programming by using a InMath header files,
i tried to the best of myself, but i not get the solution,can u please give some thing usefull do this.
is it possible to access third party plugin through VC++ prgramming usign a single header file??

I have downloaded the Real Guitar demo to try out with Logic. I have never used sounds other than those that came with Logic. How do I set up Real Guitar so that I can use those sounds in Logic? Thanks.

Quit Logic. Install RG, just follow the onscreen instructions. When the installation is complete, start Logic, create a *Software Instrument track,* go to the *i/o slot* on the *channel strip*:

Calling third party software from LabVIEW

Hi All,
In one of the requirement, I need to open the Debugger(AXD debugger) then needs to send some commands from it.
Is it possible to invoke debugger from LabVIEW and work on specific text boxes in the debugger.
Details : APIs or DLLs related to debugger are not exposed to outside world.
I am using teststand3.1 software as manangement tool.
AXD debugger runs on Windows.
Is any body come across similar type of issue ?,,Please suggest me the way to wokr on it.

auxiliary files and configurations of this software were installed in one directory tree, you may be able to install and run it on an external harddisk or usb.

How to streaming data/image from labview to a third party software

Hi, i am working on a research project and stuck on the following problem: I have two cameras and one IMU Sensor unit, all conected to my PC. I save the camera images as avi format and the IMU sensor as TDMS format. I have also another software running on the same PC which i developed using VisualStudio2013. On this software i alredy implemented a very complex filter to fuse images and IMU. Now my quesion: would be it possibel to stream the .avi and .tdms from LabView to my software so I can test in real time how my filter is performing? If yes please let me know what LabView function do i have to use. thanks

Thanks, the hardware are my PC, 2 usb cameras and one usb-IMU sensor. The PC runs w7 with LabView2014. I can read the camera and IMU to my Laview without any problem and save the data on my hard desk. I am also developing another software on VS-C++ for image processing and data fusion. I would like to know what is the best (and fastest) possibility to stream this data (Images and IMU) in real time from LabView to my own software?
I read a lot in NI-website on how to communicate LabView with a third party software. They are summarized in this link:

It looks for me that the ‘shard memory’ principle (or File Mapping) is the most convenient method. In VC++ under windows I can easily handle shared memory by calling FileMapping windows functions. Now the question is how can I do that in LabView? I am relatively new in LabView and do not know if it is possible to use shared memory in LabView. For example: is it possible in LabView to buffer both video streams and IMU-data (live) in a shared memory in computer RAM using the windows FileMaping functions (may be using .dll). Then I can access the RAM form my own software and read the stream. Please see the attachment for more description.

Unable to link Jtext field with third party software.

Hi pals,
I am stuck in a problem which is as follows:
"I have one third party software (lightspeed) which helps one to link it to any application. Here I am able to link this app with the text field of google.com opened in a browser or in a java frame. Now whenever I type something in the text field of this app(lightspeed) and press enter, it forwards the same text to google's text field, which is working as expected. Now there is twist, whenever I link any java's textField to this app, it fails."
Now some questions which raise in my mind are:
1) Is it due to the security constraints in java?
2) Or somewhere the sockets are no been able to connect?
Guys, please help. My need is just to link this app to the jTextField.
I will be really thankful to you.

How to configure Solaris that third-party software can use Netscape

Hi,
I don't know if this is Solaris configuration issue.
I have Storage Foundation installed on Solaris 10 SPARC.
And I am using the VEA GUI application to manage storage. Then I intentionally made some activities that the Error window appears with the link.
This link point to the Veritas web page.
After clicking on this link the error appears:
"Error attempting to launch web browser.:
netscape: not found"
Please tell me whether this issue is because it needs some changes in Solaris or maybe the Storage Foundation needs to be configured properly?
The internet connection works fine while executing the Netscape from CDE.

I don't think it has anything to do with the third-party software. When you click on a link or document, the OS tries to access it using the associated application. In your case, clicking on a hyperlink tries to load the default web browser which on your system is Netscape.
If say, you installed Firefox and configured it to be the default web browser then Solaris would launch it instead.
Try to manually launch Netscape and in the preferences, set it as the default web browser. See how you go with that.
